my survival guns are both 6 inch s&w revolvers one is .22lr the other is .357 mag. both are very accuarate the .22 loves everthing from cb caps thru hypers shotshells have been holding tight patterns at 30 feet my.357 with fullhouse jacketed flatnose has turned in 6 inch grups 100yrds cock & fire one handed (I dont drink or smoke ie no shakes) for survival thay have both been drilled & tapped for thumbscrew atatched buttstock if ever need be it should make hunting easyer two guns good for everyting from tree rats thru man rats

Ok, lets look at something that most of you, yes even the so called “gun experts” forget about. It is called ’standardization’. Yes a 30-30 , AK-47, Arnold 7mm WIN MAG or your neat Colt Python are great to have on hand, but could you pick up spare ammo off the street? From the body of a fallen what-ever? No. But chances are you will be able to find standard AR mags and the common pistol mags carried by “government employees” and others. Common would be the .40 Glock and the same in a S&W M&P. Common issue pistols almost everyplace in the U.S.. And lets not forget about the widely used 12 gauge either….
