(From the rear cover) The AK-47 series of rifle is one of the most prolific and useful weapons on earth. More than 100 million have been made in various parts of the world, and the odds of encountering one of these weapons on the battle field or in a civil disturbance are high.
Best-selling author and maverick combat shooting instructor Gabriel Suarez has embraced the Kalashnikov rifle system for its utility, accuracy, and ruggedness. In this original Paladin Press production, Suarez teaches you the “caveman simple” skills you need to operate the AK rifle platform and win in a combat environment.
I've watched more than a few videos of this type and I have to say, I wasn't impress by a lot of what I saw, at least from a standpoint of teaching skills to those watching. Most were rushed and nothing more than advertisements for the instructors school, which you can attend for a price and hopefully learn real skills.
Kalashnikov Rifle Gunfighting is non of that. Suarez shows you what you need to know - all in an easy to understand format. For instance; a lot of these productions spend thirty minutes showing you how to walk in a tactical manner, which may look cool - but isn't practical when someone is shooting at you. Suarez says; for get about it, walk, move or run as you normally do – just shoot and move.
I also liked the fact that he stressed the need to train from both sides – right and left. This is very important in case of injury, shooting from cover or turning corners. My old Karate instructor always made us train from both sides and I had the worst time with kicks thrown from my left, but we drilled until I got it right. As he said; we can't choose from which side you will be attacked.

Good review. We need all the help we can get to ready ourselves for what's coming. We better be ready.
