What Emergency Preparedness Stocking Stuffers Would You Like?

After 37 years my mother still hangs a Christmas stocking with my name on it, it’s been a tradition for so long that it wouldn’t feel like Christmas without that big red stocking on the wall.

When I was a child that stocking was my favorite thing about Christmas ( still is) we never had much in the way of gifts under a tree, but our stockings were always stuffed What Emergency Preparedness Stocking Stuffers Would You Like?.

The gifts were never fancy, no iPodsemergency preparedness gear, cell phonesSurvival Gear or other fancy electronic gizmos kids expect today, the usual was a bag of green plastic army menSurvivalist Gear or cowboys and Indianspreparedness, maybe a couple Hot Wheels survival and emergency preparednessand a pocket knifesurvival knife, but the one constant was always a huge bag of butterscotchsurvival food.

As we get older gift giving becomes more complicated and usually more expensive. Our family rule is to not to spend over $20 on any gift, with everyone in my family making an effort to stuff mine with gifts related to emergency preparedness or the outdoors.

I thought this would be a fun question to open up here on the blog – what emergency preparedness related stocking stuffers would you like to receive this Holiday season?

The definition of a stocking stuffer for the purpose of this discussion, is it should be something relatively small, and costing around $20 or so.

There you have it – what emergency preparedness related items would you like to have in your stocking Christmas morning?
