Alas, Babylon, by Pat Frank….. It was the only book required in my HS (late 80’s) that I enjoyed reading at the time and it got me started thinking about the survivalism mindset before websites like this were even thought of.

    MD,

I love the new, more professional look of your site, a very refreshing change.

Suggestion – you may want to include a link on the daily email updates you send that the recipient can go directly to your home page – it’s pretty handy.

That’s it from this arm chair quarterback!

    Great job ~

I checked out St. Paul Mercantile. One item caught my attention

I remember years ago that my Father & his logging buddies used a similar
device to filter water & dirt out of there fuel.
They took a piece of wool felt & placed it in a funnel. You can buy wool felt squares at a sewing supply store for cheap. wool felt will soak up water & filter dirt.
