WITWCT March 9, 2010 at 2:44 PM: Although I completely agree with the information presented, the one thing that bothered me about this video is how it was cut because everyone knows information can be manipulated to support a particular point of view. The government does it on a daily basis!
That being said, I'm not waiting for the inevitable to strike, I am accelerating my preparations. I downloaded your free ebook and spend time reviewing past posts for direction.
MD, thanks again for being a lighthouse for us all & those who join in on a daily basis trying to navigate their way to the safe harbor – and do not care if you loose sleep while gathering & providing the rest of us this information ;-)

Anonymous March 9, 2010 at 5:51 PM: It might tin foil hat but the US Army Stryker Brigades aren't really designed for combat but more for policing! No army in history has used what is basically an armored car for frontline combat. The Marines don't…they use them for scouting.
And if you look at the distribution of the Stryker units then you'll see that they're all over the US.
Strykers can use roads and bridges, they're fast and although lightly armed for combat they are devastating when used against civilians.

Just think back to the post last week about an EMP attack (and that post is a "must read") and all what they said in this video is true.

Not so much so. For the vast majority of Americans who live in smaller towns or rural areas, yea it for the most part doesn't apply. I do think in a collapse situation, most rural and smaller towns with a homogeneous population will do well and not experience a lot of chaos. (The only exception would be those within driving distance of a large metro area)
I really do think this applies to large cities, they will become a nightmare, they have sections that are so now, imagine what happens when the entitlements stop, stores are stripped bare by looting etc and it then spills over into the "good parts"
As far a martial law…I think the powers that be will have their hands full and be stretched to the breaking point, just trying to put a lid on the major cities, any overt martial presence in rural or small town America will be nill to nothing.
