I’ve been blogging for several years now. However, a lot of the current readership has discovered this blog only in recent months. While some readers have gone and read every single post I’ve written, most are just keeping up with my current ramblings.
I understand it can be a daunting task to read over 1,000 blog posts so I thought I would point out some of my older works, which you may find interesting.
I hope that this will get more people to explore the archives. If this goes over well, I will post more “blast from the past” in future posts. Please let me know if you would like that.

Nightshift again…..I really need to get set up again with a blogger id….I was basically off line for about 5 months. MD I'd like to send you a couple pics e-mail of the land and "stead" I have really done little on the new land. I have a pulpwood man coming to clear 5 acres and then I will establish a garden spot, chickens, ect. I have to really fence well though. I got coyotes, fox, hawks, and lots of game. Got a shepard and a mutt for "security from predators. Game is deer, squirrils(sp) wild hog, turkey, not to mention coon, possum and even armadillos. life is fun. Any armidiilo recipes out there? LOL
Nightshift,

Oh,great now you put this up,,after I have gottem thu the whole site ;)
I agree, a hand gun is a must in the battery along with a rifle & shotgun and carried at all times.
Reminds me of the old Inspector Clouseau movie;
The inspector is on the toilet and is ambushed by Kato.
A hand gun is handier in the can compared a rifle or shotgun. :-)
