After watching the comments on other blogs turn into a filthy disgusting free for all, and noticing the comments here at The Survivalist Blog were heading down the same path, I decided to turn the comments off.Well below 1% of visitors ever post a comment anyway and nearly half of the comments posted are not even on topic or where spam.
I already get plenty of feedback via email, so the feedback channel is still there, and anything important always comes to me via email anyway.
Secondly , I’ve enabled trackbacks so if you have something to say about a post, you can do it on your own blog and a link to your site will automatically be posted at the end of the post in question.
I also set up The Survivalist Blog forum where you can go rant and rave as much as you want, it should be a good place to let off steam if nothing else.
