The Days Most Fascinating News and Opinion from M.D. Creekmore – May 19, 2017 Edition

Real news daily. M.D. Creekmore, provides a smart summary of the days ten most fascinating news stories…

1. Joe Lieberman emerges as Trump’s top choice for FBI director…

An interesting choice… for those who don’t know Joe Lieberman is a democrat and said that the Connecticut shooting (Sandy Hook) was a “tipping point” and added that “If Obama Can ‘Do Something’ About Guns by Executive Order, ‘God Bless Him’.

2. Cyber Attacks Are The Perfect Trigger For A Stock Market Crash…

While I don’t always agree with what Tyler Durden says on his site, I have to admit that he is spot on in this article. Via Zero Hedge.

3. Impeachment odds: Record bets online that Trump won’t last until year-end…

Impeachment is becoming more likely everyday, and Trump doesn’t seem to know how to fight back or which way to turn. He is in a fight for his political life and he keeps swinging and throwing punches but seems to be only shadow boxing and never having any real effect on his adversaries because they just keep coming at him. He is surrounded by spies and info leakers in his administration who are conspiring with the mainstream media to take him down via scandal and misinformation.

Online wagering sites are taking bets on whether Donald Trump, mired in controversies over the dismissal of FBI Director James Comey, will serve out a full term as the 45th US president or will be impeached before year-end. Political stock market predictions is seeing record bets on contracts about whether Trump would still be president at the end of the year. The contract “Will Donald Trump be impeached in 2017?” saw its popularity skyrocket after reports of a memo written by Comey that said Trump had allegedly asked him to shut down the FBI’s inquiry into ties between former NSA Advisor Michael Flynn, national security adviser to Trump, and Russia.

4. 10,000,000 people will march on Washington if they try to impeach Trump… they will be heavily armed…

Sorry, but it’s not going to happen. Trump supporters will take to the internet via websites, blogs, and social media to voice their grievances, however I don’t see anywhere near a 10,000,000 person armed march on Washington even if Trump were impeached. Most Trump supporters have families to worry about and jobs to go to unlike the paid far left Hillary supporters that caused some trouble after her loss of the election to Trump for the presidency…

5. Alex Jones Has To Eat Crow-flavored Yogurt…

Alex Jones is something to watch and usually gives me a good laugh – after all his divorce lawyer says that Jones is “Playing a character when on air and that he is a performance artist” so after over 20 years on air he has perfected his character to an art form.

However,  I’ve found much of what he says to be total baloney after doing my own in-depth research.

After making claims about Chobani Greek Yogurt and swearing he had overwhelming evidence to support those claims, Chobani sued him defamation and he was forced to admit that it was all a fabricated story…

6. Harvard Study Reveals Huge Anti-Trump Media Bias…

A major new study out of Harvard University has revealed the true extent of the mainstream media’s bias against Donald Trump. Academics at the Shorenstein Center on Media, Politics and Public Policy analyzed coverage from Trump’s first 100 days in office across 10 major TV and print outlets. They found that the tone of some outlets was negative in as many as 98% of reports, significantly more hostile than the first 100 days of the three previous administrations

And they needed a study to come to their conclusion… Wow, all they had to do was watch ten minutes of mainstream news… after all it’s well known that Destroying Donald Trump is all that matters in the newsrooms of the mainstream media.

7. Ebola Cases on the Rise in the Congo…

The number of suspected Ebola cases in Congo has risen to 29, up from 21, World Health Organization says.

8. Ready to collapse? 222 trillion dollars of exposure to derivatives…

Financial Weapons Of Mass Destruction: The Top 25 U.S. Banks Have 222 Trillion Dollars Of Exposure To Derivatives.

The recklessness of the “too big to fail” banks almost doomed them the last time around, but apparently they still haven’t learned from their past mistakes. Today, the top 25 U.S. banks have 222 trillion dollars of exposure to derivatives. In other words, the exposure that these banks have to derivatives contracts is approximately equivalent to the gross domestic product of the United States times twelve. As long as stock prices continue to rise and the U.S. economy stays fairly stable, these extremely risky financial weapons of mass destruction will probably not take down our entire financial system. But someday another major crisis will inevitably happen, and when that day arrives the devastation that these financial instruments will cause will be absolutely unprecedented.

9. Are they planning to take out U.S. spy satellites or something even worse…

Russia’s ‘Killer Satellites’ Re-Awaken – The trio of mysterious spacecraft were idle for at least a year. Now they’re zooming toward foreign satellites again—and no one really knows why.

10. The 10 Inventions Of Nikola Tesla That Changed The World…

Nikola Tesla is one of my favorite inventors – let’s take a look at what Nikola Tesla — a man who died broke and alone — has actually given to the world. For better or worse, with credit or without, he changed the face of the planet in ways that perhaps no man ever has.

  1. Like I’ve always said, Trump has always been an antigen democrat and it is only a matter of time before he returns to his roots.

    • Antigun damn it

    • IdahoBob says:

I think you are dead wrong. I am a Democrat. I am 73 years old and have always been a registered Democrat I have voted for one Democrat (representative) in the last 30 years all other votes have been Republican. The problem with your theory is at one time, 30, 40, 50 years ago, Democrats were not so bad and what they believed in seemed pretty reasonable. The Democrats today have moved so far left that they are more like Castro or Stalin than they are like JFK. So there is zero chance I will return to my “roots”; those roots are dead and have been dead for years and are unlikely to ever come back. SO it is no crime to have been a Democrat or like me to remain registered as a Democrat and vote your belief. Trump could never and will never become a Chuckie or a Pelosi.

      • IdahoBob ,

Dead wrong about what? Where was I saying anything good about democrats or republicans? They are all the same stink from the same pile of poop. I trust Trump, or anyone else in office in Washington about as much as I would a fox in a hen house. By the way you need to read Trumps book, just a few years ago he held an anti-second amendment stance. And even watch this video. I voted for Trump by the way, only because Hilary was the alternative.

        • IdahoBob says:

In response to Jas. I think he is dead wrong when he says “Trump has always been an antigen democrat and it is only a matter of time before he returns to his roots.”

The assumption is that because Trump once had good things to say about Democrats that therefore he must be a secret Democrat and will revert. As I stated I am a Democrat and haven’t voted but once for a Democrat in the last 30 years. The Democrats have become something different. It would be foolish to think that someone who for instance thought JFK was a good man automatically can stomach the Democrats of today. The Democrat party has become the communist/socialist party. Like the old saying this ain’t your grandfathers Democrats.

As for Republicans; there are enough of them who are fools like McCain, Graham and Collins that I won’t try to defend them. However most of the conservatives are Republicans. Hard working conservatives with no place else to go. There are some conservatives who are independents but for the most part Independents are mostly undecided and can be tricked into voting for leftist that a “conservative” never would. SO I and many others use “Republican” to refer to the many decent middle class voters who are conservative and love American and stand up for the national anthem. AND NOT for the traitors who choose to run for office as Republicans but in their heart they are not conservative.

IMHO speculating or predicting that Trump would turn on the conservatives is counter productive and likely to be used against us in the next election when they declare that Trump supporters no longer have faith in him. Trump is my guy! He wasn’t, but now he is. I won’t be swayed by the MSM or the Democrats who will lie or do anything to get him out. I won’t speak against him and I expect he won’t be able to achieve all he wanted to and I can accept that. He is doing good work for us so I won’t disparage him and second guess him. I suspect Jas and people who speak like him never liked Trump and don’t care that he is doing what we all want (or claim to want) and the first chance Jas gets to vote Trump out and give us Hillary or somone just like her he will. And he will justify it by simply saying that Trump was never really a conservative.

Trump is all we got. Because the MSM and the Democrats are so much better liars and politicians and the Republicans (like Jas) are more concerned with beiing anti-Trump we will likely lose congress in 2018 or 2020 and the Democrats will be back with a vengeance. There will come a time when we will look back and wish we supported Trump better.

IMHO supporting the leaders who actually are working for you is the best thing we can do. No matter that they weren’t your first choice or that you don’t like their hair or the way they speak. For a conservative to disparage Trump is like a husband telling his wife that he wished he had married the blond or that other girl with a nice shape. If you want a lesson in the value loyalty this would quickly provide it. TRUMP is my guy now. I will no longer speak about how I really wanted the other guy or side with my enemy and point out each of Trump’s missteps. He is all we got.

          • Pretty much spot on IdahoBob. While I disagree on some of Trump’s moves (like the Kushners), I try to be supportive of our President. At the moment….he IS all we have.

          • I B, if Lie Berman is appointed, the right will know where Trump stands. I don’t respect any Democrats because they are all just about themselves. JFK was the last good Democratic President and the NWO killed him.

          • Thor 1; I am glad I’m not the only one who doesn’t believe the “lone gunman” theory.

          • Sandy hook was a hoax, I was living in CT at that time, and the draconian gun laws that passed ads a result, inspired me to sell everything and vote with my feet.

          • When you say that Sandy Hook was a hoax, are you saying that no children really died or that there is a cover-up?

  2. JP in MT says:

#3 & 4. Trump impeachment? Who are we listening to? Dem’s would like nothing better.

    #6. Now there’s a surprize.

#8. Too much national debt? Yep, the bill will be coming due.

  3. JD in NY says:

I heard Rush say that Trump didn’t name an FBI director yet. So did he officially name someone or not?

  4. For all the left leaning liberals who think an impeachment of Trump will put HRC in the White House… Hahahahahahaha! They need to 1. Read the Constitution, then 2. Re-read the Constitution. As far as the blind following sheeple, there are plenty to go around on both sides of the aisle in Congress.

    • JP in MT says:

At first I was sure they were just whining that they weren’t getting their way. The press and the DNC had lead them down the path to her coronation. Then there was/is the snowflake revolution where they imagine that Trump is going to do to them what they want to do to the right. Now, I’m just about convinced that they feel that if they can’t have their way, they’ll rather bring it all down. To them compromise and co-operation are 4-letter words (if it’s not good for me – it’s not good).

As I remember from PSY 101, these guys are classic, mentally unstable. This kind of outward actions used to get you a custom white jacket with long wrap-around sleeves and a room with thick wall covering.

But, then, I’m an old fart and didn’t get my education and upbringing from the internet, TV, and one-issue teachers.

    • Sirius, the NWO is in its death throws. Scratching and clawing because it didn’t get its way and is dying. The fraud is over, time to rebuild. God gave us a 3rd chance. God bless !!!

      • Sandy hook was a hoax, I was living in CT at that time, and the draconian gun laws that passed ads a result, inspired me to sell everything and vote with my feet.

        • Paul, when you say that Sandy Hook was a hoax, are you saying that no children died or that there was some sort of cover-up?

      • I would encourage you to study Biblical prophecy, thee NWO is not in its death throws.

Thinking this way, because Trump got elected, will lead to apathy

The Bible is very clear that a one world government is coming.

  5. #1 The Liebermann choice seems like a betrayal to me, by the man who just told the NRA he was their friend.

#6 Wow, big surprise. The left wing media hate Trump and are determined to drag him down. After all, how dare we not vote for their chosen candidate?

#8 The economy will collapse as soon as people wake up to the fact that fiat currency has no real value.

  6. Larry Peterson says:

Been thinking more lately that Donald Trump is a closet globelist who is showing signs of coming out of the closet. Joe Liberalman indeed. Talk about disarming free people.

  7. 1. Lieberman is the worst choice for FBI director. We need someone with a solid background in LE, not a politician or another attorney.

3 & 4, Ten million marchers? LOL! If an impeachment attempt goes forward, hide and watch the backlash.

    5. I am not a fan of Alex Jones and rarely listen to him. However, in the case of Chobani, he wasn’t wrong. Even CNN reported on the issue of Chobani hiring more Muslim “immigrants”.

    8. Just another article with tired rhetoric. Not once did the author get into the original source of America’s financial woes.

To some extent most of all the financial war cries are nothing more than scare tactics. They’ve been going on for decades. Oh I don’t doubt something is going to happen, but it is purely by design and incremental steps.

Most news today is nothing more than subterfuge. Keep people’s minds occupied with BS and the real issues will slide through unnoticed. Faux news is alive and well and too many people suck it up like it was candy. Sad really.

  8. tommy2rs says:

If asked to march on DC I’d have to give an answer like Bob Wright gave the FBI SAC, Why would I want to do that? There’s plenty of liberal sob’s right here.

Much as I’d like to see politicians hanging from streetlights, my back hurts too much to travel that far. But that’s what I get for thinking I could still do fancy bo staff moves with those new hewing spears I made. Getting old gets worse every day. Might as well start working on a pintle mount and hard point adapters for AR 500 plates for the hover round now.
