The Death Of Government

by M.D. Creekmore on September 30, 2009

A common thought held in many survivalist circles is that a collapse, whether it be brought about by an economic crash, energy crisis or other disaster, automatically preludes collapse of government. This is bogus in my opinion.

I’ve seen this myth repeated so many times – yet many fail to put things in proper perspective. If anyone manages to survive it will be government.

They control the resources, ( food, fuel, manpower and energy) they print the money and can take whatever they need to survive and stay in power.

Moreover in times of crisis the populace will look to the government for help and will do anything they are told to do in hopes of getting things back to normal.

Those on the throne will not only stay in power, they will gain even more control and become more oppressive and vindictive during and after a crisis.

No government won’t go away after a collapse and collapse doesn’t guarantee the end of government. I know it’s difficult – reality often is.

Don’t get me wrong; I’m not saying we aren’t heading for hard times, every indication points to wide spread poverty, starvation and unrest leading to a mass die-off of the population.

Just don’t look for government to die with it.
