Emergency Seed Bank Sale

by M.D. Creekmore on February 4, 2010

I just got word that Emergency Seed Bank is having a 2 for 1 seed bank sale. What was normally $119 for a seed bank is now $119 for 2. I’ve dealt with this company before and totally recommend their product (I have 5 of their seed vaults).

Thanks for the tip, I placed my order. I'd been meaning to get around to it, but with your help, today was the day.

This is just what I was hoping for. I just got off the phone & placed an order after reading about it here. Thank you. So much information, so little time.

Anon 6:25,

There's plenty of time if you stay focused. I know what you mean, don't let all the info overwhelm you. Just keep reading and then act on what you is right for your situation.

I just placed an order too. I have one batch but we wanted another and this is a good deal.

"These seed banks are packed to the highest USDA standards, including airtight, triple layer, mylar bags, and a desiccant in each waterproof can."

Can't find it now, but I think I remember reading that this is the wrong thing to do with seeds, that they need 'air' to breath and that air tight containers will hasten their demise.

This is all good. But if you are purchasing a seed vault for long term storage be sure it's properly stored. http://www.seedforsecurity.com/article.php?articleid=27

Have you actually planted any of them to know they are viable?

The day before you posted this, I ordered two supersized emergency seed kits from Big John Lipscomb. Nevertheless, when I saw this post the next day, I went ahead and ordered the 2 for 1 from Emergency Seed Bank. Well, Lipscomb's seeds arrived in about 2 days, and I'm still waiting 10 days later for the shipment from Emergency Seed Bank. No email or notice or anything. Am beginning to get a little disappointed, frankly. Frustrating that I don't see any email address to inquire, either.
