Prepare to meet God.

Prepare to meet God.

One of my favorite exhibits at the Museum of Appalachia… If you’re in the area be sure and drop by and visit the museum – it’s a great place to spend the day with the children too.

Cool, MD. I’ve been told that part of the museum property used to belong to my great grandfather, my grandparents’ farm was not too far from the museum.

ladyhawthorne,

It’s a nice place – one of my favorite places to go spend a day…

Saw the museum on an episode of American Pickers. It’s not too far of a drive. I think you and I are geographically closer than I thought MD…

I think I’m about an hour east of you MD…what a great place to live! If I’d known of it earlier I would have raised the kids here…better late than never…

We could probably do this in a long day trip, I’ll see if we can’t go! Thanks for the recommendation!

I had never heard of it before. I looked at the museum site, it looks like a really peaceful place to spend the day. We will see if we can make a long day trip this summer too. Thanks
