They are doing this because they are fully aware that the US dollar is not worth the paper it is printed on, and it just a matter of time before the US economy collaspes. China and India are buying gold by the tons. They are protecting themselves by buying things of value before the US dollar will not buy anything. I believe that this will mean for us massive inflation, little buying power, massive unemployment, housing losses, tent cities, and huge increases in crime and criminal activities. People holding debt are going to feel the brunt of this crash.
