My family and I are new to prepping and are slowly integrating it into our lives.  Our kids are little and we’re digging out of  debt, so most of our preps are the “bit-at-a-time” type.

I was an auto mechanic before serving six years on a submarine in the USN.  I now work at a power plant as an insurance inspector.  My focus has shifted towards broadening a tech-heavy skill set, with recent developments in gardening and food preservation.

My goals include a small, non-inclusive community of prepared individuals and families willing to lend mutual aid, barter and exchange ideas, experience and skills.  I don’t aim to be a leader or follower, but prefer to have peers with overlapping areas of interest and capability.
