Obama to ‘Quickly’ Go for Immigration Reform and Gun Control : Barack “Husain” Obama. will go for immigration reform and gun control this month, the White House tells the left-leaning Huffington Post. Obama’s actions will reportedly be done “quickly.”

Police Banned From Denny’s Restaurant After Manager ‘Harassed’ Detectives Over Guns : “According to CBS, a diner was alarmed after spotting a female officer’s weapon and alerted David Rice, the restaurant’s manager. Massive Government Debt Will Send Precious Metals Surging In 2013 : “The world is navigating troubled financial waters. Over the past decade Central Banks have injected a flood of dollars into an ailing fiscal system.”

Economic Trouble Ahead For 2013? : “Do you believe that economic trouble is coming in 2013? If so, you have a lot of company. According to a brand new Gallup poll that was just released, 65 percent of Americans believe that 2013 will be a year of “economic difficulty” while only 33 percent of Americans believe that 2013 will be a year of “economic prosperity.”

Government democide and disarmament are greatest threats of violence : “The No. 1 cause of mass murder and death throughout world history has been tyrannical government. Time and time again, as soon as guns are stripped out of the hands of the People, governments engage in the mass murder of innocents. Those who argue for gun control seem to fail to understand that disarming the citizens leads directly to a concentration of power in the hands of evil government officials who, sooner or later, use that power to exterminate millions of innocent people in the name of “love” or whatever concept they wish to invoke.”

United States is considering creating “mutant soldiers” : The U.S. Army is evaluating in order to develop a project to equip its soldiers with new genes that would allow them to become super soldiers that do not suffer from fear, and have more endurance and strength. A series of experiments in the 1970s aimed at developing hallucinogenic weapons, the Pentagon gave soldiers LSD – apparently without the subjects fully understanding the consequences of using the drug. During the Cold War U.S. troops were also exposed to nerve gas, psychochemicals and other toxic substances on an experimental basis and without their consent.”

  2. Heads Up: Flashlight Sale

1 Sale a Day has a dozen Skill flashlights for $8. I ordered these last time they had them and wished I had ordered two sets.

Where is Lint Picker? There’s a pink one included in the set.

    • I took some I got last time and covered the bulb with a red majic marker to make a small night flashlight and it works great for night vision. I put two reg and two with the red lights in my BOB and GHB sincee they have the clips and are small.

I’ll bet the only way TDL can trample the 2nd amendment “quickly” is by executive order. I guess all the republicans could immediately fold but I don’t think that will happen quickly, they will have to at least make a “show” for the bitter clingers that vote.

Just heard on our KMJ news that a decade ago there were only 300,000 gun sales in dear ol’ California. Last year alone their were 800,000. Maybe there is hope for this blasted place afterall. But then again……….

    • riverrider says:

they reported 2000 guns bought back in la in a weeklong program. there were some nice ones in there, but they said it only equaled the sales of one day.

      • As I understand it, cannot confirm, they had plants go out and buy the majority of the “turned in” guns. After all even the lowest street thug that graduated 3rd grade understands 1 Bushmaster = very nice rims, not a $200 grocery store card. I saw a couple of $1,500 rifles in there. Oh and by the way. The AT4 practice launcher that the media kept going on and on about is not re-loadable. Talk about media hype wagging the dog. If someone had turned in an RPG and extra rounds i might have sat up and took notice.

  7. Yesterday I talked to a retired city police officer who still has close relations with the force here in a major Oklahoma city. I asked him this question… “If a federal mandate/law or whatever you want to call it came down to the city police force to confiscate all or particular firearms from peaceful law abiding citizens, would the rank and file honor that order”? His answer was kind of what I expected but was also chilling and disappointing. He didn’t hesitate to answer “Yes they would. Most if not all would not question the validity or constitutionality of the order. Maybe, just maybe, after a few bad situations where a citizen refused to give up a firearm and has to be shot or arrested one or two officers may rethink this thing but the vast majority would keep on with it.” He didn’t go into specifics but he said it’s mainly because of what they are being taught in the acadamy these days.
I really was shocked by his answer. Oklahoma is a pretty conservative state and by and large pretty down to earth people and I thought if anywhere in the US a police force may not carry out an order like that it would be here.

    • Oldokie,

Just following orders – sadly, I’m afraid the bulk of the police, military and National Guard would do the same as they did after Hurricane Katrina. Folks don’t bet on the police and military being on your side if they get the order most will be more than happy to burst through your door and “spray” you with bullets… Sure some would refuse to follow orders but they would be in the minority and quickly dealt with.

      • Sadly…. that’s what Im afraid of. Our on people are too stupid to realize what they are enforcing is wrong. Guess we just need to be in the mindset that once the door is kicked in we start spraying first.

I was sure hoping the majority of our boys would refuse and we’d be fighting those pretty blue hats.
