Barack Obama Re-Elected President

by M.D. Creekmore on November 6, 2012 · 325 comments

What has happened to my country?

Well folks the election has been called and Barack Hussein Obama II has been Re-Elected President of The United States of America.

Yep, we will now be forced to suffer through another four-years (or more) of Obama’s America.

The re-election of Barack Obama, shows where we are in this country, morally, religiously and mentally and is a sign of where we are and where we are going as a nation.

Unfortunately, I don’t think the country can endure for another four years with this clueless, but smooth talking joker at the wheel. Folks things are going to get bad… really bad…  very quickly.

Barack Hussein Obama II has nothing to lose during this second term, and will forcibly push his agenda down the throats of the American population by executive order.

The caught on video statements below extends to all issues and agenda not just missile defense - the next four years will bring full force Obama agenda to America.

Pray and prep folks…

Commenting has been disabled on this post – sorry but folks got carried away, and I did not like where it was heading. Instead of a place to vent, it was turning into a hate filled rant. I will not have that here. Now let’s get back to prepping.

M.D. This is one thing that puts you ahead of that other survival blog and that is that you say what you want and stand up for what you believe in regardless of whether or not it pisses off some readers or you lose advertisers. It’s good that you’re in this for more than to only make a buck.

worrisome November 7, 2012 at 12:10 am

I sat down and prayed earlier in the day and asked God for the wisdom and courage to figure out why this con man would probably win the day, if he did. The answer I got is that no matter that some of us understand that he has taken every advantage, there is a nation of people here that are going to have to learn some lessons the hard way. I also heard that perhaps God doesn’t feel we are ready for the dogs of war that would have been released within this country had he not won. I don’t recognize my country either MD, I don’t understand or know these people that are so willingly throwing it all away. Feels like it is time to figure out where we all need to be and make sure we get it done. So if something is pushing you to move, do so. If something is telling you that you need to get solar energy into your home, do so. If something is telling you that you need to find that old truck for transport, get it. I am amazed at how far this country is stretched and has yet not broken……….and wonder when it will.

HomeINsteader November 7, 2012 at 8:08 am

worrisome: “the dogs of war that would have been released had he NOT won?”; my friend…the dogs of war are going to be released because he HAS won. And he will ignite it. He is part and parcel to the great deception of End Times, and we are living those times. No, I did not say, “end of the world” – the Bible doesn’t teach that – not entirely, anyway. But we are definitely in the END TIMES, we are definitely under “THE GREAT DECEPTION”, and Barack HUSSEIN Obama is definitely a key player in that end times great deception. The hounds of hell are out of the pen, and the war will soon enough begin.

TO ALL: M.D. is absolutely right. Stack it high!

And if you do not know Y’eshua/Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior, IMHO, that needs to be priority # 1. Everything else will fall under His purveyance, when you are a child of The King!

Then, find a good Bible-believing, Christ-centered church with a strong teacher, and actively participate in the faith community.

Now you’re ready.

worrisome November 7, 2012 at 10:00 am

Homeinsteader, when I referred to the dogs of war, i was referring to the internal riots that were expected if Obama failed last night. As far as any other war? I truly believe rather than igniting one, he will just roll over and surrender to it.

HomeINsteader November 7, 2012 at 12:41 pm

Oh, my bad! But, no! He will not just roll over…he will incite it…he will know about it from the beginning…and he will be cheering it on.

You are so right. Not saying this for sympathy.. I have lost my job, alot of my savings, my spouse of 42 years, and now my home. The only thing I can not loose is my Lord, Jesus Christ. He is the only way I am able to move forward one step at a time. If I can do it..anyone can, if you know HIM.
Walk softly, listen … talk softly…share with those you trust, listen to your gut, heart and HIS voice. Prepare continually, study more. We will make it.
Not preaching…sharing from experience.
Thank you MD and the Pack

What I’m saying is this, “the reelection of Barack HUSSEIN Obama as our “leader” for the United States of America is a judgment upon us as a result of our rebellion against Holy G-d; we kicked Him out of the public; we have removed Him from our daily lives and told Him He has not part; we have allowed our leaders to turn their backs on Israel, the “Apple of His Eye” (Gen. 12:3); we have stood silent when the liberals cried out to make of us a nation of gays and lesbians, an “abomination until Holy G-d” (I know: this will get a backlash: I’m only telling you what Holy G-d says); we have rebelled against Him in many ways, shaken our fist at Him, and said, “We no longer believe YOU; we no longer follow YOU; we know better than YOU do!”. And Holy G-d has said, “Oh, really?. O.K., I’ll leave you to your own devices”.

And Barack HUSSEIN Obama is the result. You aint’ seen nuthin’ yet.

I really don’t care if some of you don’t like this. It is the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, so help me, Holy G-d.

HomeINsteader November 7, 2012 at 12:42 pm

I’m sure of it; but who is going to PROVE it? Who is going to do anything about it? The “Great Deception” is in full swing.

BamaBecca November 7, 2012 at 8:40 pm

I agree with you axelsteve.

Oldokie November 7, 2012 at 8:26 pm

HomeINsteader,
I agree totally. I was not surprised with last nights outcome. I have said this for more than a year now to anyone who would listen and a lot who wouldn’t. A second term for Obama is written in stone and cannot be avoided. We, as a nation, have kicked God out of everything, told Him we don’t need Him and He should just leave us alone. God’s love is long suffering but He does correct His children. This second term is the beginning of that correction. Pray with all your heart to ask God to shorten this correction. I didn’t mention the shedding of innocent blood all in the name of women’s choice. That alone is more horrible than our rantings against God’s presence. Anyway, I have had a lot of people agree with me but have never heard anyone express it as well as you have.
God bless us all!

maddie November 7, 2012 at 9:00 pm

Yes, may GOD have mercy on us and give us His grace. The correction is coming because he loves us and wants us to turn back to HIM! And you are right about abortion, oldokie, as the worst affront to God that ever was.

village idiot November 7, 2012 at 11:23 pm

worrisome and Homeinsteader,
I walked outside earlier tonight, and out of the blue this song and it’s words just popped into my head.

In Christ alone, my hope is found,
He is my light, my strength, my song,
This Cornerstone, this solid ground,
Firm through the fiercest drought and storm.

What heights of love, what depths of peace,
When fears are stilled, when strivings cease,
My Comforter, my All in All,
Here in the love of Christ I stand.

And I’m still standing. I felt closer to God than I have in a long time. No one or thing can defeat me, because He that is within me is more powerful than anything without. My body can be taken, but my soul belongs to my Savior. I feel completely at peace.

Cain November 7, 2012 at 12:33 am

I have a bad feeling about this.

OhioPrepper November 7, 2012 at 12:35 am

When it finally became clear that TDL will rule for 4 more years I was very disheartened; however, right now I think we all need to just do what we’ve been doing. Prepare to survive whatever comes our way, stick to our principles, and double down on our efforts to get involved in the process for 2014. Remember that all of the congress critters in the house and 1/3 of the senate will be up for reelection in a short 2 years, and it’s not too early to start working and planning against the big government folks starting tomorrow. It’s not over until they’re shoveling dirt on my cold carcass.

GA Red November 7, 2012 at 12:32 pm

2 years from now, we have the chance to have both house and senate working for us. Look forward and maintain hope (bad choice of words, but it applies). We are all survivalists here, right?

george November 7, 2012 at 4:39 pm

I think that is our best hope and that is to restore the system of checks and balances that the founders of our constitiution intended!! We must get a congress that can work on our problems and not rubber stamp the communist agenda of the tyrant, freedom hater that just got re-elected.

PJ Prepper November 7, 2012 at 3:02 pm

Ohio Prepper

My sentiments exactly. Regardless of who became President our nation is facing some serious issues, and NEITHER candidate would have been effective in preventing the tough times we have ahead. People always want change, the grass is always greener. People wanted Romney because he wasn’t Obama, Romney might as well have been Obama on just about every issue….just in a different shell. They are more alike than most like to acknowledge, we have an election that gives us the illusion of choice here in this country.

http://www.prepper-resources.com/the-illusion-of-choice-obama-vs-romney-democrats-vs-republicans/

I didn’t lose an ounce of sleep once it became certain that we were going to see a re-election, I knew it would happen regardless of Romney’s “surge.” We have other more important things to worry about as preppers, the issues we can focus on and influence. Our prep strategy is one, and staying informed as to all of the black swans that are out there which could make our strategy more relevant than ever (here in the near future).

M.D.

I lost my faith in the “average” American awhile back but I didn’t realize we had come this far. I thought about my children and what their future would be and it about brought tears to my eyes. I have a lot of work to do in a short amount of time.

HomeINsteader November 7, 2012 at 8:31 am

I understand your tears, DTOM. My own heart is broken for our nation this morning, and I have cried out in my brokenness to my Heavenly Father. I know He is in control; I know He loves me. He loves you, too, and He cares for you. I hope you know this.

I pray in the name of Y’eshua/Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior, that you know and love Him as I know and love Him, and reap the benefits of that love every hour of every day, until you come face-to-face with Him!

ladyhawthorne November 7, 2012 at 12:41 am

I just feel really really sick right now. Sadness and fear are at the forefront of my emotions and I feel totally helpless to do anything about it. I can see everything I’ve worked so hard for just being taken away by the socialists.
How can so many people be taken in?

HomeINsteader November 7, 2012 at 8:29 am

“The Great Deception”, dear one. This is “how”. See my posts above. We ARE helpless on our own. Holy G-d is NOT. He is still on His Throne. He is still in control. He still knows everything that is going to happen well before it happens, and who will be involve.d Take it to Him- your fears, your hurts, your feelings…He is a loving Father who wants to comfort His children. I hope you are one of them, for your sake, through Y’eshua/Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior.

PJ Prepper November 7, 2012 at 3:22 pm

Ladyhawthorne (and everyone else on here who feels the same)

My question would be: So you feel sick, depressed, cried last night etc…what are you going to do about it? The world is ending, Obama got re-elected, woe is me, life as we know it is over?

That’s one approach, poke your bottom lip out and pout, waiting for someone to come pick your motivation up off of the floor. Or you can stay strong, be resilient and continue on as before. This reminds me of a scene in Band of Brothers when Private Blythe admitted to LT Speirs that he was scared, and asked Spears what he could do about it.

LT Speirs came back famously: “you hid in that ditch because you think there is still hope. Blythe, the only hope you have is to accept the fact that you’re already dead. And the sooner you accept that the sooner you’ll be able to function as a Soldier….”

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cQ9pLomZrmU

Here’s my point. I’m a Christian just like many of you are, although you won’t find me posting bible versus or preaching on here (nothing wrong with that though). LT Speirs is right, we are all “already dead” as far as this earth is concerned. Put Obama in office, or anyone else and it matters not. Whatever happens on this earth will happen and one day I’ll die, but I know I’ll spend eternity in a better place.

It helps when you know the end game outcome, and regardless of who is in office we have already won. There is that whole squishy topic of what happens in between while here on this earth, and that’s why we prep…for those uncertain times.

So tuck your bottom lip back in, dust yourselves off and stand tall. This is chess, not checkers….

PJP:

I prefer to go out knowing I have made a difference – not just quietly accepting whatever pablum is served up to me. I do believe that is the approach of most of the people here. Your comments completely overlook the possibility that these same people (including myself) have been working hard to do what they believe to be right, in ways that we have no reason to know – it is, therefore, to be expected that there is a “mourning” for a loss so grave and so eternally influential as this one. I’m neither passive nor fatalistic, but your comments suggest such. Just want to set the record straight here.

I find your suggestions that we are waiting to “poke our bottom lip out and wait for someone to pick us up” insulting; I hope it was not your plan to insult us, but it does come across as such, in my opinion.

We are not citizens of this earth (for those who love and obey the Lord, our citizenship is in Heaven); we are not dead, either; as long as we are here, we are to WORK; faith without works is dead. James 2:14

No one here is going to sit idly by and pout, no one I know, anyway. When the shock wears off (for those who WERE actually “shocked”), when there has been a time of mourning sufficient that the healing can begin, we will get back to work.

To everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven…a time to laugh…a time to cry… Ecclesiastes 3:1

And I WILL quote Bible verse – unabashedly. What I think or what I have to say is irrelevant; what Holy G-d has to say IS NOT.

It’s time for the Southern states to seek independence again lest we continue to follow the yankee death spiral. I’m not the only one who will be demanding the Texas legislature to vote for succession. The republic that was once the United States of America is dead, replaced by a parasitic socialist dictatorship that will feed off the producers until it collapses on itself. They will start tomorrow with the repeal of your Second Amendment rights then it all goes down hill from there. Militia, the call to muster is upon us.

Don’t lump us all together. Pennsylvania is a blue state (sadly), but look at the map. It’s a giant sea of red, with two blue spots around Pittsburgh and Philthadelphia. Ohio is the same, with blue tumors around Cleveland. It’s not as easy to define as it was in 1860, when you could fairly reliably use state borders to delineate differences of political opinion. Looking at the individual state electoral maps, Texas has just as many blue spots as Pennsylvania, my friend. Only difference is that you had a big enough population to overcome them. When it hits the fan this time, it won’t be one group of states versus another group of states, it will be county vs. county, town vs. town, and neighbor vs. neighbor.

This country deserves every screwed up thing it gets , this proves it .

HomeINsteader November 7, 2012 at 9:46 am

You are probably right, T.R. But thank goodness, Holy G-d has more mercy on us than you seem to have! Do I deserve every screwed up thing that comes to ME? Yes, I do! And so do YOU.

But I am no longer subject to the chains of sin! I am no longer under condemnation. What I deserve, thankfully, is not what G-d has given! Why? Because I love Him and do my best to follow Him daily. I have received His mercy on me!

“For all have sinned, and fall short of the Glory of G-d”. Romans 3:23

Y’eshua, Jesus Christ, did Himself say, “not one of you is clean, no, not one!”.

Since Eve bit into that forbidden fruit (we do not know what kind of fruit it was – the apple came about because of an artist’s rendition), and Adam followed her lead, we have been born to sin. In need of a Savior. Which is why Holy G-d sent us His Son, Y’eshua/Jesus Christ, born of a virgin (Mary, though she is NOT to be worshiped!), lived about 33 years on Earth; and taught G-d’s truths; was crucified, died, and was buried, and on the third day, He rose again! That you and I and everyone who came before us and everyone who will come after has the OPPORTUNITY to have eternal life through Him. It’s a choice we are free to make – to accept His mercy given freely (no charge!).

Holy G-d had MERCY on us, even though we deserved death. Yes, we did. If Eve had not disobeyed G-d, we would have. He gave Adam and Eve full reign of Paradise; He said to them, “Of every tree in the garden you may eat, but of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil, you may not eat” (G-d knew the repercussions). They had a garden full of food, and they ate the one thing G-d said, “don’t eat”. We’re like that, aren’t we?!

Eve disobeyed; she listened to the enemy, who slithered in and said, “surely G-d has NOT said…”…planting the seeds of doubt as to faith in G-d… trying to prove G-d a liar! (Isn’t that exactly what the world has done, and why we are where we are today?) Sin had entered the world through the serpent, satan, and his dominion (the fallen angels, a.k.a. “demons”). Oh, they’re very real – just as you and I are very real. But that’s another story.

The Bible tells us that the measure of mercy we show to others is the measure of mercy we can expect on our own judgment day. Pretty revealing as to our nature, isn’t it?!

But the Bible also tells us that Y’eshua/Jesus Christ was the FINAL sacrifice – one great, High Priest for all men for all time. There is no need for another – ever. So, Holy G-d, in His MERCY – made a propitiation for our sins – not because we DESERVE a way out – but because He loves us, and had MERCY on us!

Hebrews 7:
26 For such a High Priest was fitting for us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and has become higher than the heavens; 27 who does not need daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifices, first for His own sins and then for the people’s, for this He did once for all when He offered up Himself.

I thank my Heavenly Father, through the sacrifice on the cross, the price already paid, that I do not have to suffer the consequences of what I DESERVE. He has had mercy on me, and I have received that mercy with a glad heart! It is my earnest prayer that ALL receive His mercy, while they can. For, when we die, it is too late – we have made our choice.

Grace and peace to you, in His Name, the Name Above Every Name, He Who Was, and Is, and Shall Be Again,

Jenny November 7, 2012 at 1:51 pm

Well, I’m not surprised. I know how many people feel about Mormons, however, there are some things taught by their founder, Joseph Smith, that apply to this day. He taught that one day, the U.S. Constitution would hang by a thread. (Conference Report, October 1942, p.58)

Well, folks, wouldn’t you say that now, the Constitution is hanging by a thread? There are many other things Smith taught, mainly that this would happen just before the Second Coming. Say what you will about the Mormons, but it is rather interesting….

You hit it on the head when you said the re-election of our illustrious leader is a sign of how far we’ve fallen as a nation. The America of the past that was proud of its heritage, industrious, and strong in its faith is gone (not to say there aren’t still good people out there like this). You guys seem to have all your ducks in a row, but it’s gonna be a rough next 4 years. God help us all…

I served my country. I always hoped we would find a way back on a course of ensuring the rights and freedom of the people. I am saddened by what we have lost. I cannot bear to face my children or any others knowing what we have done to them.
I don’t think either of the two party candidates have worked toward that end for some time, but one sure as heck goes against it quicker. That party won tonight. Between Obama and the Democratic parties views and policies, AND the fiscal cliff we are teetering on, I don’t think the nation can survive 4 more years. I only hope that the good people left in the country are prepared to weather the storm and willing to bear the burden of leadership and responsibility in trying to rebuild when the time comes.

HomeINsteader November 7, 2012 at 8:36 am

Soggy Prepper November 7, 2012 at 2:30 pm

Exactly HomeINsteader. Exactly. The Bible is VERY clear as to what is to occur. Very clear.
I can now get a shadow of a glimpse of what it was like for Abraham to to pray and intercede for a wicked and sinful place. And for Lot to live in a place filthy with deranged thoughts and selfish desires where sin was exalted, it would suck. It does suck. But the righteous were not destroyed with the wicked.
I pray God hears our prayers now (I know he does) and will protect his own.
All the grief, natural and man made disasters that are on there way, not only have been foretold, but also serve as a way to get those on the fence to Turn toward Christ!
Seek Him. Watch Israel and look to the sky.

HomeINsteader November 7, 2012 at 7:23 pm

Yep. And we can now feel the pain of Noah and his sons, as they spent years building an ark and preaching the gospel of salvation, all the while watching the debauchery abound and enduring the taunting, the oppression…we can only imagine.

Sw't Tater November 7, 2012 at 2:12 pm

Wolf,
Only when we sit on our hands, we did it to them….as people have worked within the system to change it, we did not do it to our children, grandchildren and great grand children.
The irresponsible spending, the hand-out mentality, the lets take the system for what we can get mentality is responsible. (No, I am not referring to social security or disablity, They paid in the system, we owe them that money.).
Will it make the debt less, no. But WE need to be able to prove to ourselves and those we love, that we built our business, we made our living, we grew our food…and etc. That we did what we could to be responsible citizens…..Then we are able to stand firm and look our grandchildren in the eye, and say..”.our nation fought against God…They murdered their unborn children, and committed unseemly acts man with man, and woman with woman. God has the final say. He is always right!”
My ancestors were immigtrants,we assimilated into the community, mixing ethnic backgrounds and seeking to better ourselves with our own abilities, not trampling on others.
There is a saying, I don’t know where it came from, but the idea is… be careful what you tread on on the way to the top, you will need it as you return to the bottom.
I listened to both final speeches last night. They were by two opposing ideals, they have pledged to work together, for the good of our nation. I will be pleasantly surprised if they do, and will not be holding my breath. There is a clear mandate to uphold our principals, that is what is expressed in the house.
Even before the election some were wanting to throw out the electoral college. Our republic has withstood because of it’s design of the checks and balances system we have,if that is abandoned or thwarted ,the hope and change we get will be akin to that little nation which lies to our south.
… .congress is supposed to write our laws, at least that’s how I learned our process is supposed to work…we have to let our elected represenatives know what we want. Do I want the congressional houses to roll over and play dead? no we had that from 2008-2010.

Petticoat Prepper November 7, 2012 at 1:38 am

About the only good thing I can say is; HE CAN’T RUN AGAIN! Guess I’m heading to the store tomorrow to buy that pistol. We have a deeply divided country as the votes today show. I doubt he’s going to try to heal this nation and fully expect more class warfare to divide us further.

Never give up, never surrender!

ConnecticutYankeeinGeorgia November 7, 2012 at 7:56 am

Who said he’d have to run again — let’s say we find ourselves in some kind of massive crisis in 2016 and he pulls a Julius Caesar “dictator perpetuo” – because it’s for the greater good, and it wouldn’t be wise to hold an election during these trying times, but I promise everything will be better in 4 years and we can again implement the democratic process.. ……. Sure there would probably be some kind of revolt but if things are bad enough I wouldn’t be surprised if part of the population would support him. A hungry population is easy to control; a hungry population without arms is even easier. With the Democrats it’s all about power and how much of it they can hold over you. Birth control mandate? To take power away from the Catholic Church and other Christian denominations that had the spine to say “no”. Massive food stamp and welfare program enrollment? Control = power. Taxing the wealthy and the middle class who can say “we don’t need your help government”? Take their money (which gives them power and independence) and render them poor and dependent.

I wouldn’t be surprised if he did. However, he can’t run again. I think if he were to try that in 4 years, he would end up like Lincoln or JFK. Although, in 4 years the second amendment along with others most likely will be trashed and only the blue helmets will be armed.

Any way we come at this my country is gone. Time to hunker down and work OPSEC or we’ll be off for retraining camps.

Nobody ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of the American public.
H. L. Mencken

The Nation that I grew up with has ended. Without question, a generation at most will pass before The United States of America is grouped with the Ottoman Empire, the United Kingdom and the Soviet Union. We have run our course as a viable superpower.
President Obama has promised ‘comprehensive immigration reform’ He has expressed his strong desire to reinstate and strengthen the weapons ban of 1993. The Central Bank of the United States of America has instituted a program of unlimited fiscal stimulus – essentially creating money out of thin air and hope debasing the value of our currency. The list goes on. The President has shown that the checks and balances built into the Constitution are not a barrier to his desires, He has on multiple occasions ruled by executive order like the monarchs of yesteryear.
The time has passed for We the People to concern ourselves with the future of the nation as a whole. Look instead to your State, your Town, your group, and your family.
In 1984 Ronald Reagan announced that it was “morning again in America”.
In 2012 darkness has fallen.

if you haven’t watched 2016: obama’s america please do so. It is very informative about tdl’s history, why he does what he does and how we can anticipate what he’s going to do. And it’s not good.

WESTPAC November 7, 2012 at 3:03 am

I guess we will have to cling to our ‘guns and religion’ even more, since these two freedoms, plus the freedom of speech, is on the Liberal’s chopping block…By any means necessary…

It simply amazes me at how many dhimmis are out there running around completely clueless as to the barely hidden agenda of Obama, which is to destroy America from the inside, all the while getting both his racial and class revenge on the White race…like he personally has ever suffered from discrimination.

Do these people actually hate their own country so much that they are willing to see it’s populace suffer immensely before it is destroyed…I guess we all know the answer.

To quote Steve McQueen in “The Sand Pebbles.’”

“What happened, What the Hell happened?”

HomeINsteader November 7, 2012 at 8:42 am

Don’t cling to religion, WestPac, it won’t do you a bit of good. Cling to the promises of Holy G-d; believe Him, follow Him, obey Him, through Y’eshua/Jesus Christ, the Son. You will then be under His care and His protection, and you will have nothing to fear. I didn’t say bad things won’t happen, anyway – they still will happen; but you’ll be in His hands, and no one and nothing can snatch you away! Big difference between religion and relationship, is what I’m sayin’ – that’s all! ; )

I am very proud of my state. A historically democratic state voted Rebublican…except for one little strip thru the “Black Belt”.

I cried as well last night, barely slept at all, cried again on and off all day. My country is dead. My children and grandchildren will never live in the America I knew as a child. My heart is broken. I knew it was coming, but it still hurts. It still scares me to think of what we are about to face…an evil such as we as Americans have never known.

I just thank God every single moment for the foundation my parents gave me as a child. I know that God is in control……and without Him, WE won’t survive this. It is time to choose. It is time to get off the fence if you have been straddling it. He says that if you are neither hot nor cold, He will spew you out of His mouth.

Thank you again MD for giving us this forum in which to learn from one another and to share with each other. Time for MAJOR OPSEC if you have not been practicing it up to this point.

Blessings to the Pack, I will be praying for each of you.

worrisome November 7, 2012 at 10:23 am

WestPac, for the most part it isn’t that they hate the country so much, it is that they only grasp what is easy and what is right in front of them. They don’t get that now Obama has the opportunity to take away many more of their freedoms, that he will elect judges that will change the course of our country for generations, and that he will allow a path for immigration that will continue to change the path of this nation. And those are just 3 that come to mind. Let alone, taxing any working person to death and ObamaCare crashing our medical system.

I thought we were for more individual rights, what’s wrong with making pot a choice, like tobacco and alcohol?
The USA has a higher % of pop in prison than any other country, because of the failed, expensive drug war.
Too many people and companies are getting rich by throwing Americans in jail.
I think America was doomed no matter who won, we have been on a downfall for a long time.
We need a new form of govt, every politician fired and more than two main political parties.
Also, the electoral college needs to be dropped, let every vote count, not just certain states.
How could Obama get such a huge portion of electoral votes when it was so close by individual votes?

My first thought/feeling was fear for my children’s future. Followed closely by sadness that they wouldn’t have a childhood like mine (Regan years). My 6yo daughter “B” said this afternoon that she would vote for Romney. Smart girl, but at 6, she should be concerned about the tooth-fairy and wondering if unicorns are real.
One thing that concerns me is if he has to cut something from the budget, would it be Veterans benefits? Unlike Social Security, it doesn’t have its own separate tax collecting for it. My VA Disability check is my only income.
We now have Socialist healthcare, open borders, enemies that don’t fear us… What’s next? Is he going to start adding more Marxist ideas this time? How much further down the Socialist road is he going to take us? Will we end up in 4yrs festering on Communism? I hope not!
My 4yr prediction… Tiny military, no nukes, no American influence anywhere, a socialist country with truely open borders, a drop to #4 on worlds largest economy (which leads to $8 gas), $24 trillion debt with possibility of defaulting, restricted gun and free speech rights.
Before the country I bled for turns that bad, my family, preps and I will be living on a boat in the South Pacific!

Also, in response to some of the earlier comments about seccession: I think you guys are right, it is time for the south to secede. This time, I don’t really know if the north would fight you too much on it. It could be like an amicable divorce: I think we both know by now that this whole thing isn’t going to work out and its time to divvy up the assets, form an ironclad mutual defense treaty (missile silos don’t move easy) and go our separate ways. I think we might both be the better for it. I think a lot of liberals like myself would support you in your efforts, should this be something you’re really serious about – I know I would put a lot of work into helping make this happen if you are at all realistic.

Mike November 7, 2012 at 6:36 am

I don’t think things will go downhill as quickly as all that. I’m from Canada and our Obama (Pierre Elliot Trudeau) finished completely left winging the country in the 60′s and and the country was still around 15 years later for me to be born, and 34 years after that for me to be typing this.

I’m prepping as hard as I ever did regardless of who’s president in another country though. I’m betting it’ll be an asteroid or pandemic first but who knows ;)

Buuurr in Ohio November 7, 2012 at 12:08 pm

I am also from Canada but gaining my citizenship in the U.S. The massive difference from here to Canada is that in Canada you don’t have a massive portion of the population that think food and money for $1700 sneakers fall from the sky.

Racist? No, my wife is East Indian and we say what we see and hear and live with on our street everyday. A young man (if you can stomach to call him that) walks down the street with $1700 Louie Baton (spelling) sneakers everyday past my house. He has children with four of the girls on this street. Two white, two black. He collects welfare and this is what the money is spent on. He eats from the local ‘community’ church next to our home that we pay taxes to the government to support so his kids can eat.

The massive difference if you haven’t gotten it by now, which I am sure you have, is that there is a drain on this economy far worse then any free health care…

Oh, did I mention if you are of such poor stance you get free health care?

You are not comparing apples to apples. Not even apple to oranges. You are comparing dynamite to potatoes.

Mike November 7, 2012 at 12:37 pm

You haven’t been to Canada lately have you?

Buuurr in Ohio November 7, 2012 at 12:57 pm

Three years…

Mike November 7, 2012 at 6:08 pm

It’s pretty much like the above in Canada, at least where I am where it’s still white. People get morbidly obese, the government gives them carts. There’s ‘no jobs’ yet people come up every year from jamaica and mexico to work the fields.

I make $62,000 a year an my take home pay after taxes and deductions is less than $30,000, then I get to pay property taxes and 13% on everything else I buy. There’s 4th generation LIFER welfare recipients who have a nice flat screen T.V. like I do, except they have more of them somehow.

You want to see what heavy socialism will do after a while, that’s what it’ll do. You should know this if you’ve only been out of Canada for 3 years.

HomeINsteader November 7, 2012 at 6:43 pm

Our future, described for us. What else do we need to know, Mike?

Buuurr in Ohio November 7, 2012 at 10:02 pm

I do know this, Mike. But the stark reality is that you do not have a majority demographic of people who think money falls from the sky and comes in the mail on time, all the time. I do know there is welfare and many who abuse it in Canada. The difference again is that they know what they are doing is crap and they are ashamed to bring it up in many circles. I know because I have seen it personally. The thing is that down here there is a whole group of folks who call welfare blessings and consider it their reward for I don’t know what… getting to the age of 19? I have been to many black churches. I used to love the jovial banter and fun my and my wife would have there… until we saw the reality and had some people suggest we join in on the beg-fest because we were just starting a family (wife was pregnant). We soon decided this was not the church nor path we needed to take.

Again, I get where you are coming from but you have to be here to see how it is in inner cities to really know the difference.

HomeINsteader November 7, 2012 at 12:48 pm

It’s “Louis Vitton”, Burrr..but that’s really funny, because, the truth is, “what does it matter?”. Tennis shoes are tennis shoes. How stupidly wasteful and foolish that people would care enough to impress anyone else that they would waste $$ that could be used to feed, house, clothe….a $40 pair of tennis shoes would be a luxury, and then think of all the good the rest COULD have done…

I have to say, I knew this was coming. The average American nowadays is far to concerned with honey boo boo, the housewives of where ever, or any other, from the barrage of mindless shows that they have to choose from. They can’t be bothered with finding out whats going on around them. If it is not directly affecting them, they don’t even think about it.

Almost every day I come across a driver who is completely unaware of what is going on around them. Or I find myself dealing with someone who, really, can’t even do their job because they are idiots.

The sheeple truly are the zombies of the future. Brain dead morons aimlessly wandering, and then turn on each other and feed off of anything good as soon as they are cut off from their precious little world of pacification.

We all knew the future was jacked up, unfortunately, this is just the next step. Good luck to you all.

It is like the Maury Show. Doesn’t anyone have self respect? Everything is ok and anything goes. If there are no standards and no expectations then there is chaos. Children are growing up feral. They have little or no discipline and if they act out just dope em up! Chic fil a and McDonalds is the family meal often times eaten in the car. Parents work awful hours and Sabbaths no longer exist. Cheating and stealing are prevailent in our society. Pedophiles everywhere. I have considered myself pretty laid back but I always had values. I am an American. I have the right to practice Christianity and the right to believe those who don’t practice Christianity are wrong, sinful and I have the right to keep myself apart from those who do not believe as I do. If I believe tattooing and piercing is unhealthy and don’t want to be around those things that is my right. I respect the rights of others . Now it is time others respect my right to say, NO. YOUR WAY IS NOT FOR ME. STAY ON YOUR SIDE OF THE STREET AND DO NOT TALK TO MY CHILDREN.
I have had it up to my eyeballs with tolerance of actions I know destroy the human soul. I am ready to either live in the middle of nowhere or join an isolated community of like minded families. My rant is over for now.

may god have mercy on all of us

i spent a lot of time and energy working for a differant outcome and i was crushed when ohio was called but i believed it was over even before that. i went through a lot of emotions last night from disapointment, anger, confusion and fear of the future and in the end i ended up on bended knee asking for peace of mind, some understanding and the strength to face the challenges we as a nation face in the future.

everytime i pray i hope that god will speak to me, fear that he may and either i am now a prophet or crazy. again he didnt not speak to me but a calm came over me and i began to think more clearly and focused. we are forced to live with the situation we are now faced with but that does not mean we are forced to follow as sheep.

we have kicked the can down the road a little farther all we can do is pray we have not kicked it over the cliff. need to start local and make sure they keep towing the line that we beliee in. from there we keep politically active always telling our representatives i didnt vote for you, but you work for me and these are my beliefs and i will not sit idely by as you spend me into oblivian, you may not follow my advice but you will hear it.

we have to keep on prepping and praying that gods will be done, i cannot force others to follow in my footsteps, but i can teach and help others find god through that our world will improve.

remember to prepare for others and be willing to help those in need when ever you can.

we need to work to make America the place we want it to be. we cannot withdraw from society and say reap what you have sown. we need to keep pushing for our beliefs or we will be buried and forgotten.

pray for our country, pray for one another
may god have mercy on you and yours
may gods blessing be on all of us
work for the best even though we fear the worst
we can not change the past and we can not force others to our beliefs
god bless and i apoligise for the long and winding post kind of in a fog
see the best in others and work to show your best to all

I mostly blame the media for his re-election, but one can’t ignore the fact that too many Americans have been turned into helpless, dependant sheeple. A glimpse at the people trying to recover from Hurricane Sandy is a case in point. Add to that the complete takeover of the education system by leftists and voter fraud in places like Philadelphia and Chicago, and there you have it. A toxic mix that kills freedom. I’m pretty sure a crisis is on the way before I’m ready for it, so I took the day off to go to the big city and buy more supplies. I have no hope for the future.

My profound feeling of disappointment and disbelief over the election is shared by all here.

Yes, the results of the election has shaken my hopes, but it has also strengthened my resolve.

As a nation, we were at a crossroads during this election and had a chance to change our course of our country, but the idiocy and corruption won out. The proud country I grew up in, will soon become unrecognizable.

My father told me once, “Never give up Hope. If you do, then the bad guys win. You must learn to be strong in the face of adversity.” He was right, I cannot let them break my spirit.

So I will pray and prep, listen and observe, and encourage others to do the same. We will make it in spite of everything.

It is unfortunate for those ‘cattle’ when the man comes round but you reap what you sow. Daddy will sink this country and enforce policies that are anti-American even more… but we will stand firm. We will simply follow the word and pray. All will be well as it has always been for us in faith in this home. Prayers for all.

DM November 7, 2012 at 8:28 am

I really have no idea what has happened to this country… I’ll admit I was expecting Obama to win, but only by a slight margin. The results were Obama’s 303 to Romney’s 206(Florida’s 29 electoral college votes have yet to be decided.) Clearly America wants to continue on the same horrible path we’ve been experiencing.

We are about to have some very bizarre and scary times ahead of us. Four more years of high unemployment, infringement of the Constitution, an insane National Debt, taxes skyrocketing for everyone(not just the rich), more people on food and welfare. Obama did a great job destroying this country, and then flipping it around to make look like he is the great savior of those he put in poverty. We will also be encountering countless other problems. Goodbye USA, hello USSA (Union of Soviet Socialist America).

OhioPrepper November 7, 2012 at 1:54 pm

DM,
Only a little more than half of the country voted for TDL with only a roughly 1% difference in the popular vote. He won by a landslide in Electoral College points, but it was nearly a draw amongst the folks. I hate to bring sunshine into everyone’s rainy day, but I still think there’s hope if each of us sticks to their principles and plans for the future. We will all no doubt have some pain inflicted upon us, but this will hopefully bring some of those who voted this time to re-evaluate their lives for the next time around. It won’t be easy, but nothing worthwhile ever is. I know people who were complacent 4 years ago who woke up, paid attention, and got active. Perhaps 4 more years and a yet deeper hole will bring even more people into the fold. Keep in mind that we have another shot at the entire house and 1/3 of the senate in 2 short years. They’ll be here before you know it, so now is the time to get active with your local groups and plan for that next election.

village idiot November 7, 2012 at 7:15 pm

Maybe, OhioPrepper, maybe. But at some time in the future we were going to reach a tipping point, I was just hoping and praying that things would last a little longer. What we see happening in California will soon be playing out nationwide. I believe it was worrisome who pointed this out, and my son in Colorado has seen it first hand.

A wave of people from California have moved into Colorado over the past few years and turned it into what is now known as a blue state. I don’t think this will ever change as more illegal aliens who are having lots of children and even more people from California are pouring in. He’s making plans to leave as soon as possible. This will happen to Florida and No. Carolina next, and Texas is close behind. I see little chance for anything other than a complete collapse to change this scenario. And that’s what I’m prepping for.

oHIo November 7, 2012 at 8:36 am

I’m completely convinced, this is the dawn of the Peoples Republic of America. We are officially a communist country. It was a fun ride people, but history shows no great civilization lasts more than 500 years or so. 1492 + 500 = 1992, we’ve been on borrowed time for 20 years. Bury your guns and hold on to every posession you can. Hide your assets, they can’t take what they can’t find.

oHIo,

You are correct, I believe this election was our last chance to slow the socialist take over that’s been coming since the turn of the 20th century. The takers now outnumber the providers, guess how the takers are going to vote? The democrat/socialist party has been building an electorate dependent on .gov for a hundred years and they have achieved their goal. I don’t think I’ll see a conservative president in what’s left of my lifetime. I’m predicting more of the same until the providers finally give up and try to get on the gravy train that will be so overloaded it just stops. THAT is when the S will HTF and it may come a lot faster than I am able to prepare for it. I’m getting older and have no illusions about my ability to survive what’s coming with a weaker body and maybe a weaker mind as well.

God help us all.

Dhooch November 7, 2012 at 8:38 am

While I do not support Obama or his policies, we haveto realize that he did not win this election by himself. Unfortunately there are masses of so-called Americans who desire Statism. Generations have been raised up with their palms outstrectched, looking for handouts they believe are their right to have. Too many people either have never know or have forgotten what a free America feels like.

G-d will lead – with or without our help – with or without our consent! : )

Mystery guest November 7, 2012 at 6:06 pm

For 3 letters the word LET is quite large.
If we have given ourselves completely up to Gods charge it would not be remiss, it would be expected for us to LET him lead. Is he not in charge? By giving him complete control we indeed would willingly LET him lead.
It is the world that he will lead wheather they LET him or not and he will do it without their consent and to their distruction.

this goes far beyond the next four years my friends. there will be three, maybe 4 scotus judge seats to be filled. they serve for life. this will have far reaching, long term effects. we might eeke out another 4 years but this will last generations, well, if it doesn’t crash first. i can’t believe it has come to this. the free$h*t army is firmly in control. even my beloved virginia fell to them and i now consider the state occupied territory. all of the good people out in the country could not over rule the metro free$h*t armys. kali, chicago, nyc values rule now. how can that be? obamacare will become fully implemented, permanent law. any serious illness will cost us our houses and property thru the “benefit” tax levy. i’m too old and broken to start over again. so is this country. “freedom is just another word for nothin left to lose.” damn right. people with nothing left to lose can be dangerous. de opresso libre.

We can sit around and cry or we can move forward and help this nation stay the great power it is. Christianity isn’t going anywhere and even if we get a little pushback, that’s fine. If you truly believe what you preach, the whole government could come down on you and you will just smile and know that a better place awaits you.

Obama only has as much power as the Congress gives him and right now the Republicans own half of that. Keep calm and carry on. Keep prepping for that EMP or mass anarchy or whatever it is you prep for, but don’t give up on YOUR government when it needs you the most.

General Hummel: “The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriotism.” Thomas Jefferson.
John Mason: “Patriotism is a virtue of the vicious,” according to Oscar Wilde.
[Hummel knocks him to the ground.]
John Mason: Thank you for making my point.

One more quote
“Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.”
John Adams
These two quotes help me to put things into focus. It will take being vicious to get our country back now. It is a lot easier to go with the flow, than make a stand.

This is no longer the country I served 20 years to defend. This is no longer the country that we grew up in. Instead of achievers it has become a land of give-me’s. As others have said its a time to maximize your preps and go to total Op-sec. My pastor last Sunday said that the man God wanted in the office would win and God would use that man to ensure His will is done. The country has turned it’s face from God and God will allow what is necessary to get His people to turn to Him again. There is a long and hard road ahead for America and a time of extreme hardship. Keep your preps hidden, your powder dry, and spend time on your knees. May God once again Bless America.

Obama Wins! Behold The Rise Of The Muslim King

http://www.nowtheendbegins.com/blog/?p=12019

HomeINsteader November 7, 2012 at 9:59 am

Need to add:

“And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvellous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done.” Daniel 11:36

All hope for America is lost

It has been well said that with the electing of Muslim Barack Hussein Obama, we put into power the first post-American president, and so we have. Now it seems that after 4 brutal years of his reign, his tearing down of everything good that this country ever stood for, the American people in their rebellion and hatred of God have returned this man to office to finish the evil work which he began in 2008.

Justme November 7, 2012 at 9:57 am

This is not news to most of us but I’ll repeat it anyway.
The Right has got to stop putting these moderate Mr Rogers types up against Democrats. Bob Dole, Mike Huckabee, John McCain, Mitt Romney, etc. It doesn’t matter if it’s for the White House or Senate. They are going to lose. We need to put up candidates that can basically go to war with their opponent AND the MEDIA. Our guys aren’t running against a Democrat. Their running against a system.
This is why Cain and Gingrich excited the base. Finally, someone was calling the MSM on their hypocrisy.
Unfortunately, Romney never did this. He ran against Obama and the propaganda machine. His record was twisted, the debates were a joke and idiots were running around talking about “Binders full of women” and Big Bird instead of the economy.
Romney should have used the U6 unemployment rate in every speech. Let the MSM explain what he’s talking about and how it’s 14.7% instead of 7.9%.
Romney seemed like a good man. I think he could have given us a soft(er) landing then the crash that we’re headed for.
The Republicans are going to have to reach out to Latinos. Blacks will never support Republicans in large numbers. It just won’t happen. They won’t even support their own Conservatives. You can kill people, rape, sell drugs and molest kids if you’re an African American and black people will rally behind you. If you’re a black Conservative you are considered the worst of the worst in that community. The Stacey Dash situation showed that.
The Right is going to have to make gains in the Latino community if they want to keep Senate seats or gain the White House. The problem is the same that we faced this election. It’s hard to out Santa…….Santa. If someone is promising everyone, everything and swearing that others will pay for it then that’s hard to beat.
Actually it’s probably impossible to beat.

Mari November 7, 2012 at 12:54 pm

So much for playing nice guy when so much was at stake. I knew from minute one that Romney wouldn’t play hardball. Media totally behind Obummer. Sheeple all gone blind.

i disagree. the reps need to get out of the bedroom. even though about 70% of women are anti abortion, they don’t want to be told they can’t have one by a man. women are 51%, latins 15%. we need to get the illegals out, make the legals prosperous so they don’t want illegals taking their jobs/money either. then we need to cut the freeshit army to the bone, make them work for their freeshit at a crap job so they’ll either get a real job or get off the dole. put the fattest bon-bon eaters picking up trash on the highway, they get exercise and cost less to feed. if they are truly unable, then they can at least get up and show up at the unemployment office and sit there 8 hours a day, no tv, no bon-bons. they’ll have a miraculous recovery and go to work. jm2c, but i’m serious about the women’s vote.

HomeINsteader November 7, 2012 at 10:03 am

From Jim Bramlett (I believe he is right!):

America, you are finished. Our days of being any kind of a world power are now officially at an end. We have re-elected a leader which hates Israel, hates freedom, and is against everything that God stands for.

We have been judged for our national sins and been given a ruler, a dark king over us which is the just recompense of our sins.

We will now enter into a prolonged period of wars, famine, of disease, of unrequited misery.

The $16,000,000,000,000.00 debt we carry will only grow until it bursts us at the seams.

Obama now will finish his work of crippling our financial system, adding millions more to welfare and food stamps, and decimating our military.

We will continue slaughtering babies by the millions through abortion, and glorifying the abomination of homosexuality.

A president that allows us to be attacked, repeatedly, and does nothing about it. Soon Sharia Law will be forced on us, and America will be given oven to Islam.

Whatever befalls us from this point is our own fault. We chose to spit in God’s face, and in return He has given us the leader we deserve. As God gave Egypt pharaoh to judge them for their sins, so we have been given Barack Hussein Obama, the Muslim King.

Make no mistake, judgement has arrived. And we shall not escape. Israel now will attack Iran’s nuclear facilities. They must attack, they have no choice. Netanyahu knows he has no friend in America, and the window for waiting has now officially closed.

The time in the bible known as the ‘time of Jacob’s trouble’ will soon be upon the whole world. We also know this time as the Great Tribulation. But before that Day happens, there is a way out for those of us who trust in Jesus Christ. It’s called the Rapture, the day where Jesus comes back for all those who trust in Him and look for His return.

“Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ” Titus 2:13

This is our only way out, our only chance of escape. We pray you put your trust and faith in Jesus of Nazareth, and be accounted worthy to escape the Tribulation that is to come upon the whole earth.

My DH and I are white senior citizens. My DH from NY, I am from TN. We have lived and traveled with the military and government all over the world. The people we lived and worked with were all shapes, colors, sizes, and cultures but we were all held to the same standards. We all had to work, be clean, mow our lawns, respect our neighbors and respect ourselves. We saw first how people like Gandhi, Dr. King, and Mother Teresa served their communities peacefully for change. I know there are conservatives on this blog who are of different colors and different religions. But it is good you remind us that we cannot judge a book by it’s cover. I was however taken aback by Gen. Powell’s support of TDL.

MikeM November 7, 2012 at 10:40 am

I’m not happy about this election, but the outcome is not what has me flirting with despair – personally or for the country.

I’m no history professor, but from my accounting FDR took the country further to the left, with more support from the people. We have a system of checks and balances and what the media calls gridlock is a constitutional safety mechanism. The house will remain a moderating influence on any programs. Obama Care barely passed and was almost (should have been) declared unconstitutional.

What worries me more are two factors that matter more than political parties or candidates. First is that 16 trillion debt and the trillion or so we add to it every year. Romney acknowledged it, and would have been better at slowing down spending increases, but he had no way to stop it growing. Second is demographics, with more boomers retiring and expecting unaffordable world class healthcare and retirement assistance from a smaller and smaller workforce…

Yeah this country is screwed, Obama though is just a cheerleader for the runaway train headed to the cliff. He’s a symptom not a cause.

This election showed just yet again that the majority of this country want to receive more than they can afford. They think somehow the government and health insurance can make an incredibly expensive long retirement or expensive medical procedure FREE. That bonds sold to China (last decade) or the Federal Reserve (next decade) means we can afford our welfare state, and our huge military stationed around the world. Why the hell do we pay bills to protect european nations?

There ain’t no such thing as a free lunch.

We want to be good and great whether we can afford it or not. And for two or three decades we have sold off our children’s futures to pay for more than we can afford.

JP in MT November 7, 2012 at 10:59 am

I think I reacted worse to this than I thought.

Not only did we reelect our president, who will surely take us over the fiscal cliff, but Montana reelected Tester, who is a Obama lackey. I had hoped that if we couldn’t beat the president, then we could at least give him a Republican House and Senate to deal with.

Joe Dirt: I have used the John Adams quote several time in the resent past, to help people understand why things are not working well in this country. Most were unimpressed as they feel they ARE a moral people, even though their life styles don’t show it.

I truly hope that I am wrong about what I think is coming. I’m just going to work like I’m not.

A lot of folks are going to be selling before the year is over. Tax changes looming are not going to be good. And now the Republicans will have cover to ‘compromise’ on new taxes. The Republicrats say they don’t want new taxes but what Fed doesn’t like increased (short term) revenue streams? The heist is being planned right now.
“For the sake of moving the country forward we Republicrats have ‘compromised with the Dems and are agreeing to a few new taxes but only on those making over $250,000. (later) …only on those making over $100,000. (later) …only on those making over $60,000. And so forth. It’s always incremental.
There may be a national sales tax to make everyone pay something…..to make it fair.
“We Republicrats insisted that the other 47% pay a little something into federal tax coffers. That’ll show ‘em! We did it! Please vote for us. “

Good lord, people, get a hold of yourself. The world did not end today. Stop listening to Glen Beck and believing everything Rush tells you. Propaganda is not real (Obama 2016). What exactly did you think was going on at the end of Bush’s second term? Everything was fine and dandy? Our place in the world was respected? Civil rights were free and clear?

I think I’m done with this group. I thought you were more strong minded and less racist. There have been democrats and republicans all through the history of this country. When you jump of a bridge because one or the other was elected president, as many of you seem to be doing now, the only one that loses is you.

I hope the best for all of you and I hope that you will consider doing some real research in to BOTH sides of the story….not just what Rove,Beck, Rush and the Koch brothers spoon feed to you. Neither side is perfect and neither side is without blame.

President Obama will NOT be infringing on any more of your constitutional rights than did President Bush. Even if he was the Muslim freak you all seem to think he is, he doesn’t have the kind of power to take away our speech, religion, guns or anything else. He has reiterated that he is opposed to automatic weapons….wooo, big shock. Boehner and the Republican leadership showed us all that by focusing solely on turning back everything Obama tried to do that it is possible to gridlock anything and everything. Imagine if they both figured out how to actually, you know, work for the people.

And please stop making this a religious armageddon. Ya’ll act like you’ve been Mormon’s all your life. I bet if it was Bush vs. a Mormon, you’d all be castigating the Mormon as bad as you are demonizing Obama.

So, I’m still a prepper within reason. I wold have been regardless of this election. I believe in being prepared, being a decent person, loving and protecting my family and trying to help those around me. I believe that being educated isn’t a matter of where you went to school, but how you spend your free time. There are two sides to every story and the first to be taken in will be the last consider them both.

“President Obama will NOT be infringing on any more of your constitutional rights than did President Bush. ”

I think you will be proven wrong on that one, he will be worse than President Bush. He is showing you how it will be done, just look at the number of presidential decrees he has handed down in his first term. More will follow and it seems congress has no spine to try and limit him either. And don’t forget he will likely get to install a couple of supreme court judges that will serve for life.

How is thinking that Obama is a failed socialist POS racist? How is thinking that the professional welfare recipient class are also a bunch of POS racist?

As a cop, I can tell you all about the professional welfare recipient crowd. You always hear about “profiling” minorities, that the police target minorities. It isn’t minorities we are targeting. It is those who have a propensity to commit crime that we target and it just happens to be minorities who commit most of the violent crime.

Let me quote a few statistics to you.

Crime Rates
• Blacks are seven times more likely than people of other races to commit murder, and eight times more likely to commit robbery.
• When blacks commit crimes of violence, they are nearly three times more likely than non-blacks to use a gun, and more than twice as likely to use a knife.
• Hispanics commit violent crimes at roughly three times the white rate, and Asians commit violent crimes at about one quarter the white rate.
• The single best indicator of violent crime levels in an area is the percentage of the population that is black and Hispanic.

Interracial Crime
• Of the nearly 770,000 violent interracial crimes committed every year involving blacks and whites, blacks commit 85 percent and whites commit 15 percent.
• Blacks commit more violent crime against whites than against blacks. Forty-five percent of their victims are white, 43 percent are black, and 10 percent are Hispanic. When whites commit violent crime, only three percent of their victims are black.
• Blacks are an estimated 39 times more likely to commit a violent crime against a white than vice versa, and 136 times more likely to commit robbery.
• Blacks are 2.25 times more likely to commit officially-designated hate crimes against whites than vice versa.

Gangs
• Only 10 percent of youth gang members are white.
• Hispanics are 19 times more likely than whites to be members of youth gangs. Blacks are 15 times more likely, and Asians are nine times more likely.

BTW, what government agency do you work for?

I also believe that most govt employees are overpaid and there are too many with benefits better than most, this stuff needs to change.
The usps pays too much. I worked at a usps encoding center before most of them closed, management jobs that were posted started around 50-60 thousand, with there being a lot f managers, too many chiefs, and this was over ten years ago. But they should not be forced by congress to fund retirements for employes that haven’t been born yet. I believe someone is trying to force the usps bankrupt and privatize it for profit, a big mistake.

I don’t have fox, beck or any of the others you mentioned. I am not a mormon either..It is impossible to get non-biased information from any one source.
.Matthew 6:21..still says,” Ye shall know them by their fruits.” Apples don’t produce lemons.
People who truly live “an alternate lifestyle” do not reproduce physically…..it’s like putting two plugs together…
…and I wonder how many of the 3500 babies murdered everyday, are not palefaces?Have you seen those statistics? Make no mistake, all those that Murder those little babies ARe racist they target certain populations, just look at the records.
Education? That little book of Matthew ,(7:21-23)also indicates that many will think they are serving the Lord, but when that judgment day arrives, they will be surprised. Our most important prep is to read, study…to make sure we are not with the majority who will be surprised in that day.
You are right , all the executive orders ALready in force, have taken all rights to express our ideals, values and defend our families…we will be overtaken by the one world government that has been in process for a while….the UN will enforce gun laws/whether it is technically legal or not, because there has been no one to stand up….and The sheeple don’t even know they are also targets.

MikeM November 7, 2012 at 3:01 pm

Tomfish, I find this group pretty reasonable. I suggest you come back next week and decide if you want to stay then. I remember coming in to work in 2004 and my coworkers were crying tears and hugging each other that Bush got re-elected. These were very intelligent, very highly educated, mostly rational and reasonable people. I remember thinking jeez get a grip.

In a democracy people invest a lot in elections. I think they can’t help but see it as personal relationships: a person who they disagree with a lot who wants to lead them in a direction they think is very much wrong. Another person who generally agrees with them and will lead them in a direction they think will be better for them, their family, the country. And the third person is “the nation” and the greatest betrayals come when they find that “their nation” is not who they thought it was. It would be like your child rejecting your values whole cloth and leading a life you cannot understand.

Ater we get enough sleep and some time has passed, we better understand that it was not one person who turned their back on us, it was 57,208,649 of our fellow citizens who agreed with us on what was a good direction to move toward. But there were unfortunately 59,903,905 who thought the other direction was better. Thats a lot easier for us to swallow.

Thankfully the constitution, and our nations respect for the rule of law, means presidents should be very limited in what they can accomplish. Many here disagree with me that there remains any limits to governmental powers. Maybe I just live in a better part of the country, but I have yet to be assaulted by federal agents.

Mike Iain November 8, 2012 at 3:04 am

Mike M,
I agree with you on some of your points. I have been in the army for 20 years now and I can assure you that there are many constraints on what we can do as a military. I usually just laugh off the comments from people that believe when I go to work everyday that I am plotting on a way to take everything they have or better yet that I am a mindless zombie that will execute that same ridiculous order for someone appointed over me in my chain of command. People don’t realize that I CAN disobey an order if it is unlawful. Everybody is so worked up right now that silliness is reigning supreme on this board right now. Everyone in the military is not of the same ilk that you ever have to worry about a puppet military to storm the local walmarts and track down everyone who has spoken out against Obama.

Tomfish,
It becomes a religious issue when the government (Obama) mandates that I particiapate through forced healthcare the financial supplementation of abortion. If I do not agree with it on religious grounds, why do I have to participate? If I don’t want to participate why should I be punished (taxes, fines)?

Dhooch November 7, 2012 at 3:34 pm

So as long a the leader(s) of the nation support things contrary to the Bible such as gay marriage and abortion while showing disdain to Christians (Remeber the “gun toting, Bible clinging speech?) I do not think it is so outrageous for some to believe these are indications of a fallen creation and possibly signs of God having turned his face from a nation that has progressively strived to push Him away.

TomFish,
It sounds like your family has not been hurt by the polices of this administration. I am happy for you. I cannot say the same.
I am entitled to my thoughtful opinion about the agenda of this President and I have every right to disagree with it and be vocal about it. I have worked since I was 16 years old, and when I had a c-section I took 10 days off work and came right back, because I needed the money and I wanted to pay my own way. So, I feel like I have earned the right to an opinion about social issues as well.
I believe people should nuture all their babies, not just the babies they planned carefully for. I believe that people should pay their own way and protect the weak. I believe that people should care for their extended family. I believe that charity is important, but the giver should decide who gets the charity. I believe that collecting social security that you paid into is a very different thing than sitting home on welfare. I believe that by the time I need it, there will be no social security, but they keep taking it out of my check every single pay day.
Barack Hussein Obama is a liberal minded citizen of the World. I am a God fearing citizen of the United State of America. You cannot serve two masters.
If we are so crazy, then why are you here? I believe you are here because this is a group who allows others to have opinions without persecution. I wish you would allow us the same thing.
God bless.

Tomfish,

Perhaps for YOU the world didn’t end. However, for ME…I’m watching MY country be destroyed. This is how one fundamentally changes a country. First you destroy the core values/laws and then replace them with your own.

We are NOT racists; we are politically different. This is why there’s Beck, Rush, etc. Why don’t you try some ‘tolerance’. We are the 48%, the 50 Million who did not vote for Obama. By the way, political correctness IS erroding our free speach.

Mike Iain November 8, 2012 at 2:34 am

Obama does not teach my children their values. My wife and I do. He has no impact on what my kids will grow to believe is true. That job falls PRIMARILY to my wife and I. Try it yourself and maybe Obama in office won’t “end your world”.

village idiot November 7, 2012 at 6:02 pm

First of all, no one tells me what to think. I don’t listen to Rush, Beck, Rove, or whoever. The Koch Brothers are the new liberal boogeymen, but frankly I’d never heard of them before liberals made them into their boogeymen for this election cycle. The best I can determine they run a large company that employs thousands of Americans in good-paying jobs with lots of benefits. Most of them are union workers, which should make you happy, but apparently not. In any event, I read and listen to a wide range of media, including the NYTs, the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, the Banner-News, Fox News, CNN, CNBC, ABC, and various blogs. I’m pretty damn well read and knowledgeable, if I do say so myself.

Now, let me make this very clear to you and all liberals who keep repeating this lie, at least so far as it concerns me. I did not vote against Barack Obama because he is black. I want this to be clear. I don’t want to have to say it again, cause I’m getting pissed off at people who keep telling this lie. I’m sure there are a few knotheads who voted against him for being black, but they are weighed against knotheads who voted for him because he is black. See how that works. I heard one of my coworkers say he would rather be poor and lead by a black man than rich with a white man in charge of him. All I could say was Wow at that amount of ignorance, but this is what America had been turned into. A nation of class warfare, revenge, jealously, racial animosity and hate.

I voted against Barack Obama because:
1. Trillion dollar per year deficits and reckless spending
2. Insane foreign policy
3. Proposed drastic cuts to our nuclear stockpile
4. His proposal to give away our missle technology to our enemies
5. Stupid regulations that kill business activity
6. New tax proposals
7. His lack of character
8. Many more, but you get the picture.

NONE of these things are related to his race or lack thereof. I don’t give a care what color a man is on the outside, it’s what he’s made of on the inside that concerns me, and Barack Obama hasn’t inspired any confidence in his character. He’s a liar, and that’s enough said.

And let me say this, George Bush is the President who got me into prepping, so don’t give me the ‘you didn’t criticize Bush for his deficit spending’, because that would be another lie. But Obama’s reckless spending and the Fed’s QE I, II and III now have us on the cusp of an economic collapse. Am I an economist? No, but I’m intelligent enough to know one can’t spend his way into prosperity. Keynesian Economic Theory has now been debunked. Many see it who are Democrats, I’m sure, or why would they prep. In any event, I had no intention of being rude, but I felt compeled to address some of the untruths and inuendo in your comment.

As an aside, automatic weapons are only allowed under certain circumstances and are highly regulated by the ATF, and Obama has made no proposal concerning them. He was specifically referring to renewing the Assault Rifle ban in place during the Clinton Administration which covered certain configured semi-automatic rifles, and he also mentioned handguns.

Now I’m through.

Gettin' Ready November 7, 2012 at 6:40 pm

TomFish, I completely understand why you are leaving the Pack and I pray for safety, health, happiness and an abundance of all that is good in this world for you and your family.

I am also still doing my part by prepping and getting my “house” in order, but I am calm and at peace while doing it. I am grateful I had the right to vote and did my part. The election is over. I choose to trust in my God knowing He is fully in charge and that the person who won the election is the person God wants to be the President of the United States. I may or may not be happy with the election results, that is no one’s business but mine. But I will never question God’s will. I will never get angry with God because His will isn’t the same as mine. Trust me, I’ve had plenty of opportunity to be angry with Him in my lifetime, but I choose to trust Him, strive to love Him first, keep Him first in my thoughts and in everything I do and say. I asked God to guide the election, the president, this country and the world. I trust He heard me. His will be done.

God bless you and your son and the rest of your family in this journey, TomFish, and enjoy that new motorcycle!

PGCP,
..No matter what happens from here out, these words are still true. WE have TRUTH.We have a responsibility to our children and grandchildren.. to instill, to indoctrinate them in the Word of God.The world will teach them everything else, but God gave this responsibility to parents…see Eph 6,
If someone has a problem with these verses, what they say or what they mean,…a good way to approach it is to.. get out a good complete Biblical concordance and look up the words…every word, and list the meanings..in the Greek or Hebrew language., Then we can put those meanings together to determine exact meanings of the writings.
Start here..with the children..teaching the verses and applying them..Psalm 1, Psalm 8,John 17:17, John 8: 30-32,
Ps 119:104-105, Psalms 119:160, Proverbs 3:5-6,
Hebrews 1;1-2,John 14:6,John 17:8, 2 Tim 3:16-17
Genesis 1:1,27: Hebrews 11:3,John 1:1-14,2 Peter 1:3
John 14:1-6, John 14:15 and John 15:14, John 14:23-26,John 15:26,16:7-13,16:33
Rom 3:23, 6:23, Acts 2-ff. Rom 10:16 ,Rom 10:9-10, Luke 13:3-5,
Mt 10:32-33,Acts 2:35-38,Gal 3;26-27, Romans 6:1-6 Acts 22:16,Acts 9:1-22,Acts 8:29-40
I Peter 3:21, MK.16:15-16, Mt 28:18-20 John 12:44-49, Jude 3.Rev.1:1-3, 2:10, Rev 22:18-19
Hope this helps those who are searching. It is by no means a complete list, but it is a start.

Folks, the following statement I make is my opinion only and I am entitled to say this as a staunch, God fearing/loving, 100% American patriot who loves her Great Country with all her heart and who believes in the Constitution of the United States as it now stands.
There was only one thing that got Obama elected in 2008 in the first place and that very same thing got him reelected in 2012:
the colour of his skin. Nothing more, nothing less.
Am I a racist? No, but I am brutally honest with myself and with others and most folks don’t care for this and prefer to listen to lies even if they know they are hearing lies.
Keep prepping and become even more prepared, pray harder; pray like you’ve never prayed before, and watch your backs, folks. Bad things are probably coming our way soon and there will most likely be a long, long and difficult road ahead.

This country has definately lost its way. Liberalism is our greatest enemy, and the two phrases you won’t hear from the president and his socialist minions are “personal responsibility” and “self sufficiency”, the ideals that we here revere and live by. We are the enemy to them. The ignorance of the majority of Americans is astounding. I’m very thankful for the like minded individuals on here. Good grief. All this hullabaloo about Barack Obama destroying America is patently ridiculous. We are in EXACTLY the same position as we were four years ago. Republican have the House, Democrats have the Senate. Meaning deadlock. Anything the President tries to send through Congress will be swatted out of the air like a fly. If he makes guns illegal, how many folks will turn ‘em in? I’m betting zero. Just imagine jackboots trying to confiscate weapons. There would be a bloodbath. This is all fearmongering.

When SHTF, the government will not be the problem. Peak oil, EMPs, economic collapse, THOSE are the real dangers. The government has very little to do with the economy since China owns almost all of it anyhow. It someone pops off a nuke or an EMP, it won’t be Obama’s fault, we’ve been infuriating the globe for decades. It’s starting to look like everyone is finger-pointing because they need a scapegoat.

Folks, blaming the President accomplishes nothing. He is a shill and a public target. Banks and lobbies own this country. What they say goes, not the President. He is just a figurehead. If Romney had been elected, nothing would change. He would hit deadlock in the Senate and nothing would get done.

It’s time to stop blaming and start prepping harder than EVER before. Screw the government, what can they do when SHTF, that’s why it’s called WROL. Disaster is coming, there’s no two ways about it. But focusing on the bought-and-paid-for government is a distraction. They use what little power they have to distract the people so everyone will follow along and not see that disaster is approaching. They want people to be scared and helpless and every second you spend haranguing the government is buying into their game hook, line and sinker. They WANT you to be angry, they WANT you to focus elsewhere. I choose to focus on what really matters.

Oh, and for anyone heralding these as the End Times or the Last Days, claiming any foreknowledge of the End of Days is a complete rejection of the teaching of Christ and is heresy by the very definition of the word. See below:

“And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them.” – Luke 21:8

“But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.” – Matthew 24:36

Gettin’ Ready,

“He gave us signs to look for and, well, this does seem to fit those signs.”

You are absolutely right, which means it is time to get ready. I am focusing my energy to prepping, not wasting time blowing off steam and pointing fingers and calling names, casting blame and making the division of our country even wider. That serves absolutely no purpose. All that does is prove to me that misery loves company and I refuse to get mired in it. If it is true that the president is out to destroy the country, by doing all of the above I would be playing right into his hands. That would be exactly what he would want us to do and that ain’t going to happen, at least not on my part. You all can do whatever you want. Rather than whine and cry about not getting my way, the injustice of it all, wah wah wah, I am “butching up.” I am stronger than that. I am not going to be afraid. I am going to be thankful for all that I have and not cry about what I don’t have. I am going to enjoy every day of my life and try to live each moment with grace. I will peacefully prep because that is what God has told me to do. I will sleep well at night putting my faith and trust in Him. (o:

HomeINsteader November 7, 2012 at 10:17 pm

We may be in the same position TODAY that we have been in for the past four years, but, rest assured, that will change. Soon.

Barack HUSSEIN Obama is not a benign victim, he IS in END TIME prophecy, and we ARE in the END TIMES – the time when the Word is fulfilled and Christ returns for His own…the Tribulation hour (7 year Tribulation – the “time of Jacob’s trouble” occurs). This does not reference “end of the world”; “End of the World “as we know””, maybe, for the Bible does not speak of the world completely ending, although there will be a “new heaven and a new earth”, in due time (that will be a while yet!).

Be careful what you teach. The Word of G-d is very clear that those who teach are under greater judgment;

James 3:1
My brethren, let not many of you become teachers, knowing that we shall receive a stricter judgment.

this speaks to motive, not making mistakes, which, being human, we’re all capable of, but, be careful what you teach. Some comments you have made here DO NOT line up with the Word of G-d.

Luke 21 and Matthew 24 make it very clear that we are to observe the signs of the times in order to be ready. The parable of the bridgegroom makes it clear that the bride is to be about the business of preparing herself, awaiting her groom. This is a picture of Christ returning for His church. The parable of the fig tree represents the nation, Israel, and we are told to observe the blossoming of the nation. There are many more, the point being, there are MANY signs described for us in the Word of G-d, which have been fulfilled.

We are COMMANDED to observe the signs, to “rightly divide the Word” (know what Holy G-d has to say and how it lines up with world events)…Believers are COMMANDED to be ready, and not to be taken by surprise.

The only thing we are NOT to do is assign a date. But to say that we are to be clueless and not try to know is the exact OPPOSITE of what we are told to do and be doing in the Word of G-d.

In Matthew 24:36, Christ is SPECIFICALLY responding to a question as to how they (the Disciples) could know when the end would come. He was sitting on the Mount of Olives, and the Disciples came to him and asked. They were looking for a date – something “definitive”. Take the ENTIRE answer into context.

Matthew 24 talks about what we do when we know a thief is going to break into our house; we may not know when, but we know the thief is coming. Therefore, we are told to keep watch. This is a picture of waiting for Christ – being ready.

Matthew 24:44
44Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

There are many scriptures telling us to know what’s going on, what it has to do with the Word of G-d, and what it has to do with us. There are also many scriptures telling us we are to be “prepared” and not to be caught unaware when He comes for us.

Matthew 24:
42Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.

The Bible very clearly tells us to be ready, to expect it, and to have a good idea “when” based on what God has to say about events that will take place; it says we won’t know the hour or the day, but watch the signs and we’ll have a good idea that the Rapture of the Church – those who truly love and have kept the faith in Christ Jesus – will be “snatched away” – and the days of wrath begin

Matt 24:
36But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
37But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
38For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark,
39And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

43But know this, that if the goodman (watchman) of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.

There are also many warnings in the Word of G-d about that which is to come. G-d warns us many times before He executes judgment. He always has, and probably always will – not because He has to, but out of His love and mercy toward us.

Revelation 22:7 7 “Behold, I am coming quickly! Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book.”

And the last thing Y’eshua/Jesus says to us:

Revelation 22:18, 19
18 For[i] I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds to these things, God will add[j] to him the plagues that are written in this book; 19 and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away[k] his part from the Book[l] of Life, from the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

Know the Word f G-d, people. Rightly divide the Word for yourself. Because false teachers always have been with us, and they’re still with us.

If you need help understanding, ask G-d and He will give you understanding:

James 1: 5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.

Grace and peace to all,

Pardon me, but…4 years ago we had a Democrat super majority control in Congress, both the House and Senate. Obama was part of that super majority two years before he took the White House. He had two years of Democrat Congress and White House. Two years ago we split that.

Thank you, TomFish, for your voice of reason! You are not alone.

MeteoFF November 7, 2012 at 1:34 pm

Thank you Tomfish, I was getting really worried here. I agree with you 100% and I’m glad to hear a more moderate, see both sides of the fence, opinion. America is not dead and I am hopeful for the future, even as I prepare for the worst. I have not lost faith in America and to say that 50% of America is unpatriotic, evil, lost, sheeple, etc. is just wrong. These are your neighbors folks, regular people like you. You should be able to disagree with someone without demonizing them.

My husband and I have actually spoken your same words this morning while reviewing and contemplating last nights results.

We are both very angry and very sad as to what will now happen to our wonderful country. We are in our seventies and can survive, but what is going to happen to our grandchildren in their future?

I am sickened hearing the bad news even though I prepared for the worst case senario for 3 years now. I thought if Ronmey won, markets would be rallying, more job opportunities awaits us, low taxes , great prosperity would rule the day and I could shake off my burdens and worries of the destruction our country and economy. Instead, everything has gone the opposite way.

My condolences go to those who voted for Obama. You have committed suicide. You kill your young in the largest genicide in history, 2000 million babies aborted since abortion was legal. You support gay marriage where no children are born and the Bible calls it a blastphemy. You punish the successful and reward the failures. You support fewer jobs and skyrocketing high unemployment. You are in favor of a debt that will go to 20 trillion dollars in the next four years that can never be paid with a debt crisis that will destroy America and your families. You are for printing Monopoly money that is worthless creating inflation so high you can’t afford gas, food, and a home. You support a healthcare system that won’t be around to treat you when you get ill or have an accident. You want to seek out a meager existence on food stamps, welfare and die in your filth and poverty. You want us vunerable to attack and war with our enemies with severe cuts to our military and protection. You support ignoring our citizens in foreign countries in pleas for help when it was available, so they can be murdered. You support countless lies from your president to justify your need for handouts and not have to work for a living. For these things, You have committed suicide.

Donna H November 7, 2012 at 1:46 pm

Typo correction, sorry: 200 million babies aborted since abortion was legal.

Nolan November 7, 2012 at 1:49 pm

You’re right on track. It’s a sad commentary on half of the citizens of America. Too much like the rise and fall of the Roman Empire.

Just me, but I don’t think the economy, or anything else, is going to improve very much in the next four years. Be prepared! Expect the worst, and you won’t be disappointed with anything better. Obamacare is going to be a huge drain on the economy. And, if the Bush tax cuts aren’t extended in January, it will be even worse. By the way, it isn’t all about the “rich” people, either. The $250,000 beginning of “rich” is arbitrary….

Romney and crowd lost.

I have the same feelings as ‘all of the above’ except for one person who seems happy about the outcome and one who claims its nothing more than racism.
On the way to pick up a prescription for the DW this morning I listened to Rush Lambaugh, he seems to have a good synopsis of why we are where we are; The choices are either Santa clause (tdl) or get a job (Romney).
I think that says it all.

shadowstats.com has an article comparing 4 years of the depression era with our just completed 4 years. Using the same math to count unemployment as was used back then, on average our unemployment is 1.5% higher, or around 23%. WE ARE IN A DEPRESSION.
The next 4 years will bring even higher unemployment. The government will find a way to jigger the numbers to show (as it does now) that the rate is falling.
Our supreme court will be populated with people who I wouldn’t associate with, and in a few years churches will be under attack just like in the French Revolution; the “peoples fairness committee” will kill the resisters.
Elderly health care costs will be held down by death squads.

I’m thinking about getting a book titled, ‘The Fourth Turning: An American Prophesy – What the Cycles of History Tell Us About America’s Next Rendezvous with Destiny’. Based on the description I hope it will shed some light on the motivation of our citizenry and why TDL got re-elected. I hope it will be a good prepping activity.
If anyone has read it, please share your comments.

mountain lady November 7, 2012 at 11:26 pm

I have not read the book, but have read many articles on it written by Mr. Quinn on his site The burning platform. Actually, I read them all on ZeroHedge. We have entered winter, and it will be even worse then the last winter turning, which we call the great depression.

Obama only got elected because he is black???????? What world do you live in Libby? I voted against Obama twice and it had nothing to do with his race or his father’s religion. He is not part of an Islamic conspiracy nor the antichrist. I really don’t think the election will make all that much difference. One party has the House and one party has the Senate and both seem to have the attitude that “it’s my way or the highway.” We should vote out All incumbents.

I like this blog the best when we talk about prepping and not politics or religion. Sandy wasn’t caused by politics or religion and the preppers of that area were prepared and are surviving because of it, unless their abodes were directly hit. But if this is what it takes to stir up some members of the Wolf Pack to redouble their efforts, perhaps this election is a good thing.

Montana Freedom November 7, 2012 at 3:16 pm

Your racist bull crap is neither warranted nor needed. You must not be a Christian? Makes me wonder. Here’s to the BEST President we have had for many years. And if you are a racist, like MD, there is a bus leaving for Nicaragua, see if you can catch a seat before it fills up with you nitwits.

M.D. Creekmore November 7, 2012 at 5:19 pm

Montana Freedom,

Why do you call me a racist? Is it because I disagree with many of Obamas policies? Is it because I disagree with his moral “values” and the direction he wants to take America?

So what you’re saying is that anyone that disagrees with Obama in any way is a racist and is only doing so because of his skin?

I did not care much for JWB either or the way he ran the country so does that make me some sort of strange white guy that is racist against other white folks?

Everyone that has read The Survivalist Blog.net for any length of time knows that I think everyone should have the same rules apply no matter the color of their skin and that folks like you that pull the race card when there is no foundation for such only drives a wedge between all of us along racial lines.

We are not white Americans, black Americans, green Americans or any other color of Americans we are all Americans… period. And until folks like you can see that and stop seeing color and dividing the population along racial lines then there will always be racism.

KR Prepper November 7, 2012 at 5:47 pm

I am with you 100% MD, I do not object to Obama because of his skin color, I just don’t agree with his leadership. I am glad the voting crap is over, tired of the bull being spread all over. And I do hope that “everyone” who is prepping for whatever comes our way feels welcome on this site. Should you show up at my door, you will be welcomed.

MD,
Your comments did not lead me to believe you are a racist, BUT as you put it “until folks like you can see that and stop seeing color and dividing the population along racial lines then there will always be racism” which is very common tonight. What does TDL stand for again? So if Romney was elected he would be TWL? This site promotes or tolerates “seeing color” everyday.
Doesn’t mean I won’t still use the site for its intended purpose, which is what is most important to me anyway. I tolerate the intolerant people because good information does make it onto the boards as well.

I took a report from a young college student once. He was leaving a store with his girlfriend, when a thug stuck a gun in his face and robbed him. Naturally, I wanted to get a description out as soon as possible….I asked him ‘what did he look like, short or tall, black or white, fat or skinny, etc’. The young student looked down his nose at me and said ‘Well, he was African-American’. I got the distinct impression that he judged me as a worse person than the robber, because I didn’t bother to use the correct PC term.

All the anguish and rendering of garments won’t help us.

All the retrospect about what went wrong (and I am very suspicious of results) will mean nothing when the financial collapse comes (soon).

“President Obama – Most Successful President in History???”

I am saddened with this bleak news, and on the same page as so many of you. Just remember, 1/2 of this country, almost, rejected BHO for another term. To me, that is hope! We have so many compatriots we can work with, people who can begin to prepare and be ready for the storm that will come.
My dream is to open a store for survivalists, here where I live, on Cape Cod. So many people need to be educated, and have resources available. Despite the bad omen for small business owners, today, I am seriously considering doing this. I am in the beginning phase of my prepping, but think it would be a great learning opportunity for all involved.
When this last storm came through, it was almost a badge of honor, listening to conversation, to be blase, and UNPREPARED! “Oh, maybe I’ll stop by the grocery store on the way home, and pick up some milk and bread”, etc…”Water? Why would I need water?” Meanwhile, we were stocked up, I practiced cooking some food storage recipes, etc.
My part two of my dream is to go west, to the mountains, but my mate is tied to a job here (and his kids).
What to do? I am thankful to God that I have opportunies, and a skill!
God bless you all!

HomeINsteader November 7, 2012 at 8:30 pm

“The re-election of Barack Obama, shows where we are in this country, morally, religiously and mentally and is a sign of where we are and where we are going as a nation.”

Great point MD — However, I would apply the same had Romney been elected. My opinion is that this election took place to highlight the futility of relying upon a man to fix things. Neither one would have done squat to change things, with one possibly just driving faster towards the cliff.

For all you Christian folks out there, please consider that God’s sovereignity does not end before the ballot box. He is in control of all things and will use them for the good of those who love Him according to His purpose, including O’s election. Whether O is used for judgment or otherwise is an open question for us, but God certainly is not surprised by any of this. Consider Paul’s years in jail, beatings, stonings and whippings for his faith and eventual martyrdom while we wail about Obamacare and try to take heart, the world has already been overcome — we are just waiting for the victory party.

Nations may rise or fall, but God is still on his throne.

Marti November 7, 2012 at 4:42 pm

Hi Pack Members,
couldn’t respond earlier as I was on my work computer, but now that I’m home I’ll add my 2 cents worth. I am a conservative Christian and I have had to ask myself a tough question – Do I pray for leaders, not just those I like or agree with, but all in authority? The answer was “No”. According to I Timothy 2:1-2 we are exhorted to pray for those in authority over us so “that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godlilness and honesty.” The determination I have made is to begin to pray for those in authority over me, starting with my chain of command, local, state, and national leaders. I don’t have to agree with their politics to pray God’s will which is that their eyes be opened to truth, that they develop back bone to do that which is right and not that which is politically correct. I believe I wept more when President Obama announced his support of same sex marriage than I did about the election results. Why? Because when the people walk in rebellion towards God, that’s one thing, but when the leader of a people does that, it opens the nation up to even greater judgement. God is not a Republican, Democrat, or Independent and while the powers that be are ordained of God, we don’t always understand why He allows certain things, but we do have an opportunity here to pray for all of our leaders that they will return to the true and living God.

I understand that repentance of heart cannot be legislated, but as I analyze what is happening in our society, I don’t see clear lines of demarkation regarding sin and righteousness in too many sectors, that includes party lines and the church. I listen to talk radio a lot, usually the conservative stations. This week I was quite suprised when a famous personality (not Rush) who is retiring this year announced he had been positively honored by a homosexual group. He went on to say he could say what ever he wants now that he is getting off the radio, ranted that Christians are bigots and permanently blocked anyone who tweated him to the contrary. Today he said that us *#) Christians are the reason Romney lost the election and we need to keep our beliefes out of the political arena. I find it amazing that over the past several years while this personality rose to fame and riches with a following of these same *%^) Christains as his base, he is now showing his real and anti Biblical self. I guess the point I am trying to make as I close is, God works miracles in the hearts of people; look at how He reconcilled each of us who now claim to be believers. Perhaps He can use us to pray not just for the nation, but for those who are in authority and see what He will do. Everytime we put all our hope in any person or institution we will be guranteed disappointment at some point. But when our hope is in Him, even though we may get some disappointments, we are guranteed by His Word that the situation will eventually work for our good. Thank you Pack for being there!

Patriot Farmer November 7, 2012 at 5:17 pm

Before and during this election cycle I spoke with many ministers and clergy of various faiths who believed that Obama’s re-election was pre-ordained, not because they supported him or his policies, but because they believed that America has lost its way and this along with what is coming is necessary to re-set our morals and values. I truly hope that America will re-find itself in the next two years but I fear the awakening process will be long and painful.

Ohio Surveyor November 7, 2012 at 5:37 pm

History repeats itself. I believe we are on the verge of Rome “America” burning and the comming of the new Dark Ages. I also believe that some in this goverment are looking “forward” to the total destruction of America. The new majority are the moochers and those with ethics and morals are the minority. Is Donald Trump right?….Is it time for another revolution?….No …Im betting we all go quietly, sheepishly, one by one, never fighting, just giving up and becomming slaves. We have lost our backbone and the taste for freedom. This nation……Is truly lost.

. . . it’s sad – The Decline & Fall of the American Republic. It’s like watching a train wreck in slow motion and you can’t do anything to stop it.

There’s nowhere else to go either. The USA was the last best hope for mankind. Now we’ll just slip back into our default state of tyranny that we’ve endured for 99.9% of our history on this planet. :-(

SurvivorDan November 7, 2012 at 5:47 pm

I have been saying for some time that I thought the ‘FIX’ was in for Obama. Consequently, I was prepared for Romney’s defeat. I am less devastated than my conservative cronies, including TheFormerMrsSurvivordan.
For me, I began to believe in the likelihood of an Obama victory back when that ‘strict’ constitutional constructionist, Chief Justice Roberts, hung a sharp Left turn and stunned everyone by helping to uphold ObamaCare. Lots of excuses were made for Justice Roberts. But there is no explanation but one. He, the Chief Justice had his marching orders.
Even Fox News which worries certain issues like a dog with a bone, kept letting issues go away. There are too many to mention here. You know what they are including crimes committed against the American people that go unpunished by a compliant Justice department. Fox makes a show of it but the conservative pols brought on to discuss those issues hem and haw and make pronouncements to seek justice for the American people, “We will get to the bottom of this!” {flags flying in the background and stirring strains of patriotic music}.
After a few weeks the matter is dropped except for the occasional re-visiting.
And all the news media, including Fox, prepped us for the closeness of the election. “It will be tight.” “The winning margin will be razor thin.” How? With an economic and foreign policy disaster building? Doesn’t make sense. We have been had. We are the “useful idiots.”

The politicians are suborned by ‘the-powers-that-be’.
We can only rely on ourselves.
Keep prepping harder than ever.
God bless you all.

Red November 7, 2012 at 6:28 pm

We got the leader that we, as a nation, deserved.

To those that voted their conscience, good on you! Those that voted for the lesser of two evils, you’re part of the problem. How will we ever get better leaders if good men/women don’t vote their conscience?

I’d never tell someone how they should vote, but for me personally this election was like trying to choose between the antichrist and the false prophet. I couldn’t vote for either. And worse – since 58 million (48%) voters went Romney, guess what kind of candidate the GOP will put up in 2016? One that’s nearly the same, because that’s the candidate we liked almost enough to elect. So for the “lesser of two evils” voters yesterday, prepare to do it again next election.

SurvivorDan November 7, 2012 at 10:11 pm

Good point Red. We get what politicians we deserve.

Harold November 7, 2012 at 6:34 pm

Now that the smoke and noise has subsided and we are faced with the results, some of which some of us expected and others did not it is time to readdress ourselves to the real purpose of this blog. Get prepared for anything because that is exactly going to happen, anything!. I firmly believe that redundancy in all modes of prepping, selective distribution of preps in isolated caches and learning to depend on yourself or a family or social unit akin to your methods is the best advice to follow. Just remember the old saying, “Be careful what you wish for as it may come true”

Mystery guest November 7, 2012 at 6:44 pm

After the first shiver of disappointment went through me, I decided that I would keep on keepin’ on. I am not going to let this subjugate me now when I still have the ability to take care of myself and mine.
I will continue on as I have before with my faith, life etc. intact. I will continue to look both ways before I cross a street and if danger comes around I will stop, drop and roll.
I cannot let such as has happened to make me feel, act or be less than I am as God’s child. I believe he directed me to prep and I will continue to do it till I can’t anymore. He made me better than what is going on in the world.

Alittle2late November 7, 2012 at 6:47 pm

What happened last night is a shame. The way I see it ,WE already knew what was/is happening. The election just confirmed it. Isn’t this why we do the things we do? It sure has alot to do with why I prep. Am I totally prepared or ready for it ? NO, but I’m not going to give up and stop trying. If there is a will ,there is a way. Until they send a small Army to my house, you better believe I’m stacking it as high as I can and burying it deep. I just have to push the time table up on a few items.
I guess what I’m trying to say is Don’t give up, Get mad, push yourself a little harder towards the goals you have set for yourselves. We are not the freebeearmy. We have all worked very hard for what we have. One man does not make the UNITED STATES. We all do. Life is way to short. Love your family, do things you enjoy, make the best of any given situation.
Go hug someone or your pet if that’s who keeps you company. It helps.
Stay safe.

To answer your question of what has happened to your country, M.D. -Thanks to unbridled immigration (legal and illegal) and the dumbing down of our citizenry over the past 20 years or more, we have a nation of “children” who want “stuff” and Nobama and the DemocRATS are playing Santa Claus. It’s pretty hard to beat Santa Claus.

Thank you for taking the time to write that inspiring post. It makes me think of the scripture, “Trust in the Lord with all of your heart, and lean not on thine own understanding”. We can not understand what the Lord has planned. Man will always fall short, because he is imperfect!
Reading this, I am making a commitment to get back to daily scripture study and prayer. I have gotten away from this, and it needs to be my base.
Thank you for shining a light on the gloomy day.

Leonard M. Urban November 7, 2012 at 7:42 pm

I have a sinking feeling that we’ve gone past the tipping point in which the moochers and special interest groups have figured out that they can vote as a block and keep their twisted version of Santa Claus forever in the white house. Mitt Romney wasn’t my idea of the perfect candidate, but it’s an established fact that the perfect is the enemy of the good. He proved to be a decent, honorable family man, and impressed me as truly intelligent–not requiring a teleprompter to inform him of what he thinks. Perhaps the only way the Republicans will ever again get into the white house with the majority of the voters will be if they find an atheistic, two-headed, transgendered, openly-gay illegal alien that promises two EBT cards to every citizen and illegal alien…Perhaps, in the name of inclusiveness and multiculturalism, the Asian head could be a marxist, and the african american head could be a maoist.

Welcome, TinLizzy! This is why we’re here.

livinglife November 7, 2012 at 8:17 pm

the only silver lining is I think at the end of this term the country will finally boot out the incumbents or get a valid 3rd or fourth party.

The other Ellen November 7, 2012 at 8:25 pm

What ever happened to “everyone is welcome here”? My friends and family are a very diverse group – we have Christians, Buddhists, Jews and Pagans. We also have atheists and agnostics. We have a young gay man who wants nothing more than to meet the man of his dreams and live happily ever after. We have a young woman who got pregnant two months after her wedding because the Pope says birth control is bad. We also have two young women who have made different decisions when they became pregnant. But we care about one another and we try to prepare for hard times.

I have always hung out here because I knew we would not be welcome at “That Other Website” due to our diversity. I wonder if we’re still welcome here?

I’m hoping we can get back to inexpensive or moderate cost prepping as the main thrust of the group. And I hope we are still allowed to be here.

JP in MT November 7, 2012 at 8:44 pm

The other Ellen:

Just because there are many Christians here, does not mean that other beliefs are not welcome. As I said before, just because I don’t agree with another’s life style, does not mean I judge the other as a person. If I don’t agree with it, I don’t incorporate it in my lifestyle.

Since this is a site who’s focus is on prepping, although politics and religion are important to us, it’s not the reason we gather together here. Each of us is different, but prepping is what brings us all together. In the last 40+ years, this country has spend an inordinate amount of time and resources identifying and emphasizing our differences; dividing us. As you go through the comments on this site you will find that we are more interested in our commonality, the things that bring us together.

Tactical G-Ma November 7, 2012 at 8:38 pm

Sure have been some ugly things written on this blog today. I think we all better pray for forgiveness of judging others. And I think we should pray for the citizens elected to represent us. M.D., i still think you’re ok and appreciate your letting me have my say. And I do respect and appreciate the knowledge and opinions of all the pack altho I don’t always agree with them. Love you guys and remember that guy a long time that said something like if we don’t stick together we will be repulsive… maybe that wasn’t quite it…If we don’t hang together, we most assuredly shall hang seperately. Anyone remember that?

M.D. Creekmore November 7, 2012 at 8:44 pm

Tactical G-Ma,

Thanks. I think a lot of us needed to blow off steam after this election… But now it’s time to get back to prepping…

Lee Tx. November 7, 2012 at 9:35 pm

Ok, I had my rant, still meant it, but I will say no more in that vein,,,M.D.,,, I most certainly hope you go ahead with the idea of achiving the blog to cd, but probable would have to be a data dvd.

conmaze November 7, 2012 at 11:50 pm

M.D.,

It is with a heavy heart and tears in my eyes that I am saying good-bye to the Pack. This is no longer the place of comfort it used to be. It is filled with vicious, intolerable political and religious rages and rants. The negativity is almost palpable. It is no longer about prepping. It used to be a community of like-minded prepping folks from all walks of life and all corners of the world who wanted nothing more than to share information and help each other and we became a family. It has now become the place for a bunch of angry people to come and bitch.

I get it that everyone has the right to say how they feel and voice their opinions. I get that and I’m not saying anyone has to stop doing just what they’ve been doing. Let them keep it up, by all means. Have at it. To each his own. God bless them. And I truly mean that.

My personal life is difficult enough that I used to come here for moral support and sharing of prepping ideas and prayers and some laughs. In my own tightly-wound world, I thought of this as my very own little getaway. I loved it.

Have you noticed that the “heart” of the Pack has either signed off, post infrequently or have just plain disappeared? The anchors are slowly going away. I am pretty sure this is at least part of the reason why.

This is your blog, M.D., and it has always been a place where you have allowed folks to voice their thoughts and opinions with little oversight by you. That is what set it apart and brought it to No. 1. Until recently posts were always done with tolerance and respect of fellow members and respect for you. If someone happened to get a little overzealous and became offensive, folks pretty much self-moniored and would apologize if they offended, or they would graciously sign off knowing they had overstepped the line.

I don’t know what has happened, but what I have just experienced reading this post tonight is something I personally do not want any part of and it has pushed me to the line of my own tolerance level. Personal attacks, intolerance, disrespect, racist remarks. All that with scriptures sprinkled throughout. How ironic. I am sorry to say that this is not a good fit with my head or my heart. I’m not one to argue, I don’t force opinions, I don’t soapbox, I don’t expect everyone to believe as I believe. For those reasons, and the fact that actual prepping conversations seem to have gotten lost, I no longer have anything to add.

I will be forever grateful for the friendships I have made here, some so strong that I would trust them with my life. I will always be indebted to my Pack family who prayed for my GS and through the power of those prayers an absolute miracle was witnessed and my family was truly blessed. My faith in God and the power of prayer was renewed by witnessing that.

I appreciate all that you have done, the opportunity you have afforded me in my prepping journey, all the sacrifices you have made and continue to make to share your knowledge and provide a forum for anyone to join in. I understand your choice of not wanting to censor and I agree with that.

You are a great Pack leader. May God continue to bless you and protect you and guide you in your given mission to educate. You have been a blessing to so many and may you continue to bless many more.

With much gratitude,
conmaze

I feel like if they come for our guns, and our preps, I really dred the civil war that would result….I really feel like a volunteer military would split as well, probably go to all red states…my logic for that is our all-volunteer-military comes from all red states statistically. I hope they would refuse to obey an order to attack their own states, which agree 100% philosophically….did anyone see the maps of red vs blue states…..whats more telling is the map of all individual counties of red vs blue. virtually all states, even if a state is “blue”, most of the state is red, ecxept for a small area with dense population of LibTards…

Hoarse Whisper November 7, 2012 at 9:48 pm

If you believe the Bible, isn’t it obvious that the USA will abandone Israel in the End Times?

SurvivorDan November 7, 2012 at 10:16 pm

THEY will come for our guns. Category by category. Incrementally….
So when THEY start with so called ‘assault’ weapons or 50 cals (even if you don’t own any) …….. scream your head off! Eventually THEY will get to your twenty-two.

But MD is right! I will NOT come to this article to vent anymore.

Now I will get back to the same serious business I was at before the election…..prepping for myself and my family.

Annie Nonymous November 7, 2012 at 10:23 pm

That’s why I like you, MD – Wisdom. The election is over, for better (cough, cough) or for worse… we know what’s going to happen over the next 4 years, and if you’re still fixated on this, then you’re not paying attention to prepping.

BTW… I am so mad… angry as heck… about people voting for “the lesser of 2 evils” rather than voting for “the best man for the job” (OK, I admit, it sounds sexist, but hey…) People say I threw away my vote because I didn’t vote for either Ture Grit Mitt or the Imam in Chief, but IMO they are 2 sides of the same coin… the ONLY way we’re going to change this country is to THROW BACK the smoke and mirrors that the PTB *want* you to elect, and put someone new, and fresh, and willing to PRESERVE our rights, rather than trample them like corn in the field… And if we voted for who we felt was BEST rather than for who was not Worse, we would be celebrating both the upsurgance of the end of the 2 party hegemony and the election of a man who would make our country great again!!

Surburban Housewife November 7, 2012 at 11:00 pm

You know, I think we have short memories. Certainly there are a few of you that remember what a lot of us thought during Clinton’s election, and how awful we thought things were when he got reelected. I think in some of these posts we could take out Obama’s name and insert Clinton and it’d be just like old times. Yeah I think it’s worse and more serious now – I agree with most of you here – except for the racists crap – I just skipped over that cuz it’s just too annoying. I am looking forward to tomorrow where we can get back to getting ready for whatever the future may bring. And remember like I posted a few days ago – YHVH said not to be disturbed, these things have to come to pass. Buck up and onward all ye Christian soldiers, (and all you other soldiers too).

Patty November 7, 2012 at 11:39 pm

I can’t help but think of an analogy used on Dante’s Peak. I can’t remember it verbatum, but close enough. Pierce said if you put a frog in boiling water, he will know the danger and jump out. But, if you put him in cool water, and very gradually heat the water he won’t notice the change and you will have frog soup. I believe our “melting pot” is turning into frog soup!

mountain lady November 7, 2012 at 11:46 pm

I read this thread first thing this morning, again this aftrnoon, and not here I am again this evening. Have to admit that I had a bad evening. The fact that I live in a state that actually voted to have higher taxes, along with the national election did not help much. I really want to move to a red state, but I am old, broke, and stuck here. In listened to a few talk shows on the radio today, and the fact that the country demographics have changed, and lets face it, the new people here just don’t value what we have had here for years, until now. The America I knew and loved is gone and may never be back, at least not in my lifetime. Glad I have memories to live with, reality really is depressing. Well, on with prepping and now to a four day Thanksgiving with likeminded friends.

grannyj November 7, 2012 at 11:49 pm

Welcome to the new folks! We are glad you are here! Looking forward to your suggestions, insight, and questions.

I dont post much anymore, I just read – but:

I did not vote for O as I don’t like the direction he is headed. I am not a racist – if I don’t like you, it is because you have done something personally, directly to me and mine, not because of the color of your skin.
Ask me about personal experiences with that.

BTW, did anyone notice that O is also half-white? Instead of focusing on his black heritage – maybe he should focus on the other half – and personally, instead of choosing one “color of the rainbow” why not choose to say “I am bi-racial?” and take “COLOR” out of it.

I find it interesting that most of the bi-racial folks that I know and encounter always choose the non-white side and then call whites racist. Remember, I am not saying that all do, I am speaking of personal knowledge. I find it interesting because I wonder how they perceive their white parent and extended family who love them and who had them – the one that “crossed the color barrier” to have them, hopefully in love? That works both ways – the non-white family had to do the same acceptance/rejection thing that the white family did – there ARE two sides to every coin.

Just something I wondered. The personal attacks though, need to stop. Everyone is entitled to their opinion – and yes, we have been political – the presidential election every four years is a big, important deal, IRREGARDLESS of who is running. That is the focus.

And, after such an event, we all need to blow off steam – give voice to our approval or disapproval, happiness at the outcome or our disappointment. We share here with likeminded people. It doesn’t mean we are simpering stupid fools, whining in our coffee, but if we choose to do so, we will get over it because we are survivors, we are intelligent, and we just need to blow off steam after such a huge event that affects EVERY SINGLE ONE OF US.

Now, I have pulled on my boots and am ready to get back into the muck and keep on prepping. And, remember, religion does have a place in all this – HomeINsteader – thank you. If we want to turn this nation around, we DO need to attack the forces of evil with prayer – Remember – when faced with evil “Get thee (away) from me, Satan” – I know, it is a fractured quote of God’s word – I just woke up and simply can’t remember the exact text. So, pray for our leaders – whether you like them or not – by praying God’s will over them – you stymie the hand of Satan.

Also, as someone pointed out up above, get involved in your city, county, state government – watch them, encourage them, reprimand them, don’t be afraid to have a voice – that’s how we change things.

Now, waiting for WDYDTPTW to move back to Saturday – I liked it better!

God bless you all -

Petticoat Prepper November 8, 2012 at 12:23 am

MD,

Thanks for letting us all vent today! I needed to speak out or drowned in my tears. I don’t have to accept Obama but I do have to tolerate him for the next 4 years.

Never give up, never surrender!

WHO IS JOHN GALT………..?

M.D. Creekmore November 8, 2012 at 7:58 am

Commenting has been disabled on this post – sorry but folks got carried away, and I did not like where it was heading. Instead of a place to vent, it was turning into a hate filled rant. I will not have that here. Now let’s get back to prepping.
