Hi-Capacity Magazines as an Investment

by M.D. Creekmore on January 15, 2007

During the last Federal gun ban, which was signed into law by then president Bill Clinton, ran for 10 years, before thankfully expiring (due to a “sunset clause” in 2004), the price of Glock pistol magazines jumped from $15 each to $100 each. Other hi-capacity pistol and rifle magazine followed a similar trend.

Lets face it, the price is only going to go up and if the next presidential election ends the way I fear it will, with another Clinton in control of the White House, the cost of hi-capacity magazines will rise substantially as more restrictive gun laws are signed into effect, by the rules in power. The next Federal ban will have no sunset clause, and the days of the “cheap” hi-capacity magazine will be over, forever.

Owners of weapons using such feeding devices should stock up now, while the price is relatively low and products easy to find. Fill your own needs first, I suggest putting back at least ten of these magazines for each of your weapons, and twenty would not be overkill.

After filling your own needs, look into investing in an assortment of hi-capacity magazines, as a money making investment. The price will never be lower and will only rise as the dollar weakens and or more restrictive gun / magazine laws are enacted. You could easily see a double or triple increase in value of your investment, over just a short period of time. What you buy now for $25.00 could be selling for over $100.00, only a couple of years from now.
