I have visited several blog sites on the internet and they seem very full of talking heads with no or hardly any real down to earth preparations in place.
As a result we pull out. We search for others who have done what it takes and by that I mean at least one full year of; quality food per person, meds, clothing, hygiene items, weapons/ammo, barter material ie. gold/silver/batteries…whatever and a secured placed to safely exist for a year or more. Maybe 1%? When we started poking around survival site we thought we would find them well stocked with like minded people that had more in place than deep head knowledge and opinions…
I have no idea how you can open to much blogging without being over run my bean planting survival people thinking growing food is all it takes. Yet to see it done?
We have a ranch here in north Idaho which it well equipped and set up for a number of well prepared folks to fall back to, if they had all the above done and a hardshelled RV of some sort. Most folks will not spend the coin to fully stock up and then buy a safe location and prep it…thus we offer this. Even then finding well stocked folks is real lean…

Located here in the Pacific Northwest (northern Idaho), on our sixty acre ranch, we have been hard at work developing our vision. Here, my wife and I have, over time, gone to great lengths and expense to make it very well secured and equipped. Over time we have seen many folks storing food and gear but can not afford the big step towards owning an out of the way location with supportive infrastructures set up for a month, a year or more.
What we are still looking for are a few remaining qualified adult couples (five to six couples) of like mind and spirit, to hook up with our current group. We are not (survivalists) looking forward to hard times as much as good folks who are well prepared, creating relationships and working together to increase our collective ability to survive almost any disaster. We would prefer folks from the northwest region able to get here in reasonable time, in an event of an emergency.
We are all preparing and pre-positioning, to join up at this ranch working together, only in the event of a local life threatening disaster of any sort. Not if some are personally just having hard economic times. If this is not for you, meaning the 98% of the readers out there, we do not intend on what we are doing to be a comparison issue or a put down… Good luck to all of you working hard at planning ahead….
About us, we all realize… that none of us alone, over any extended amount of time can safely sleep, prepare food, eat, bath, cut/split firewood, take care of the chores, relax and very importantly watch the perimeters… all at the same time. Therefore teaming up with additional folks (healthy, in good physical shape, vigorous and non smokers) with qualified eyes and hands would go a long way in successfully holding on to, what very few of us have actually worked so hard to set aside for such an event.
We are personally able to operate on or off the power grid. Setting the example, my wife and I are able to survive for well over two years on what we have set up for ourselves. Everyone coming on board must be trainable concerning this location, be able to happily work together, operate within the normal rules/guidelines, hike the hills, maintain their watches (cold or hot), handle their firearms or fill in for another partner’s position.
We… initially qualify folks by, what they have already acquired and accomplished, not by their intent or talk of future preparations. Your personal skills and training along with ours will be very important and valuable to us all. Our group is growing with highly qualified and very well prepared couples. It appears that the average couples financial investments into all their current quality food, needed medicines, clothing, personal needs, weapons, ammo, technical gear, communications and so much more for a one full year minimum, has ranged between 20k to 40k and more. This group as a whole will now be expecting others to have placed similar importance on their personal lives, by already preparing to like levels.
In turn, our growing group can provide a very secure and comfortable semi remote location to those couples we might still hook up with. If a couple is accepted by our group, they would then need to acquire a well equipped R.V. or any hard shelled unit, for their personal living quarters before showing up in case of an emergency. You can not just show up without your living quarters being secured. We have already created sites, under cover or in the open, unlimited water, power and outhouses to handle several.
Aside from our personal home, we have a rustic guest home with several bedrooms. It is a great “fall back position” if, the weather becomes too severe to handle in your other personal quarters. We’ve also teamed up with some of our other secluded neighbors out here in various ways, doing much of the same thing, watching each others backs.
Remember, none of us know the hour/day of a potential need to fall back to a well known preplanned location. It might happen in the dead of winter…. are you ready? We are, however it might not ever occur and we are not preoccupied with hoping it will. Another reason for your R.V. vs a more permanent structure on our land. In all we still have room left for only the serious, ready to go couples who can cut it. Again, we focus on your preparations, not ones theories and speculations of the future. We will have to place a limit on families and their little children, no pets, just mainly mature couples.
None of us wish to overthrow the government, challenge local authority, hate others outside their own race, (who knows who we will approve), have a doom and gloom mind set or are criminals. Just good American Citizens wishing to hook up with like kind, not expecting any real outside help, working together to survive a possible crisis well prepared and successfully. Hi. I am wanting to move to Idaho relating the upcoming financial collapse. How do I find out more about the pacific northwest survival group, I would love to find one in Idaho.

Introduction; Few folks realize that most truly do not plan ahead. The few that even try often can not afford owning a secondary out of the way location with supportive infrastructures set up for a month or a year or more. Their current home/location also will simply not function when or if the grid shuts down, utilities shut off and their area falls apart. They have possibly even tried to recruit others to share in a land buy with plans to share the costs to develop it… to no avail.
A few of us here have gone to great lengths and expense to make this sixty acre semi remote ranch very well equipped and secured. We offer some of those nearby without a safer location an option. We are still looking for a few remaining qualified adult couples of like mind and spirit to join with us. There is a set limit here which the infrastructure will support. Singles might be considered, but no promises…
We are not (survivalists) looking “forward” to hard times. More like realists and good folks who are dedicated, well prepared, treating each other with respect creating good working relationships while maintaining strict silence. One should realize that no location is perfect and certainly no group of people is perfect. Regardless we are striving together to increase our collective ability to survive almost any disaster. In the mean time we enjoy life normally all in our own homes scattered about the region.
We must get to know ahead of time those others we might need to labor with here…Thus we would prefer folks in the northwest region (or who are relocating here) who are then are able to get here safely within a short days drive. That is a reasonable amount of time in the event of most emergencies. Most are done or in various late stages of preparing and are pre-positioning to join up here.
Remember… none of us knows the hour/day of the potential need to fall back to a much safer preplanned location. Disasters whether economic or natural or man made do not just occur at 11:00 am on a warm and sunny day….or with warning? It might happen in the rain and cold or the middle of the night or dead of winter…. are you ready? We are not preoccupied with hoping any event would ever happen (rather we go about our normal lives enjoy every day to the fullest).

This is an organized collective team/family effort to survive during what could be deadly time… which we hope never occurs.

If we are contacted by you, then through the procession of emails… to phone calls… to personal visits you will be either accepted … or not by us. Likewise of course you must like what you find here. If mutually accepted you then begin the process to full on board membership. You will be required to fill 100% of our “Group List” to qualify as per material needs while you and the rest of our team gets to know each other. Of course you are encouraged to acquire more than the list but at least you are providing for your basic needs within our list. For the good of the whole group we feel everyone must first be an asset and that is up to you to make that happen. We simply see that as your reasonable service and responsibility here.
This is more on our vetting procedure with each other… This relationship can be terminated at any time during this process if either party finds it not wise to continue. Once the list is 100% filled and you have earned the confidence and respect of our entire group you will be allowed to come fully on board. At that point you will also have earned the position to be an active part of the decision making process here. That also means you now have earned a secured place and position on this Ranch site in the case of a terrible crisis event. Let me make this clear…you will not be allowed on to this Ranch during any said crisis until all the above has been accomplished. We must be able to count on you being here fully prepared just as much as you count on us…
Your personal skills and training along with ours will be very important and valuable to us all. Just as ours are. However any such skills will not be allowed to substitute for our or your lack of dedication and preparedness in our or your supplies. Our group is comprised of highly devoted and very well prepared mature couples. For us it is imperative that both halves of your couple are on the very same page in “mind set and willingness to work hard”. This for the common good and the well being of yourselves and this group. You both must have fully addressed the possible emotional issues of grown children or family and or friends not fully on board… being left behind. No exceptions. Please do not contact us unless these and other such issues like your financial ability and location have been honestly addressed.

If a couple is accepted by our group we now have indoor living quarters for everyone. You must furnish you allotted space. You will be expected to financially contribute your equal share to common needs like firewood to stay warm. Also, no one owns a part of our Ranch. No one stays here other than test runs or during an agreed upon level of an extended crisis or disaster.
We’ve also teamed up with a few of our other secluded neighbors out here in various ways doing much of the same thing… watching each others backs.
Your level of preparations and how you conduct yourself… (to us) speaks clearly of your true level of belief and commitment. Many say they want to and start out prepping but few really get far. In addition if you wish to join up with us we fully except you to complete the balance of your needed preparations very quickly. As a result of our current number of children we can no longer accept folks with children under the age of ten. Also “no pets”!! In addition, life under crisis conditions will not be like it is today. It will tough and dirty as a wise person realizes it would be during a real extended crisis event. After realizing this truth most folks just give up and go back to hoping nothing will ever happen to them. Simple facts and no worries.
Also we find some folks are overly focused on Scriptural events like the “Tribulation” or areas they see in the Bible which they try to apply towards others… again not here. Although we and the majority here are of some branch of Christian faith, we are not all so led nor need to be. I will insist you keep your faith personal and focus it on improving yourself. We all simply prep for any and all possible events which we have seen happen down through thousands of years of history.
As you should expect none of us wish to or intend to help overthrow our government or challenge our local authority. (We always vote). We (wisely observed governments past actions) and just don’t believe they are truly equipped to handle the masses in a large crisis… let alone their own families. We don’t accept others who dislike people outside their own race or specific faith {who knows who we will team up with}. Just good “American Citizens” wishing to work together to survive a possible crisis well prepared and successfully able to survive….so after the dust clears we can be part of the rebuilding. Please note that no one is forced to stay with us, nor are we a cult, a religious end of times and days group, a militia, a commune, a control group or anything strange to you or us.
