1. How medicine is killing us all: Antibiotics, superbugs and the next global pandemic : “The global abuse of antibiotics and the rise of drug-resistant superbugs has become an urgent issue of survival for the human race, and even mainstream medical experts are now describing microbiological doomsday scenarios if the situation isn’t reversed.”

2. The Chart That Proves That The Mainstream Media Is Lying To You About Unemployment : “The Obama administration has “borrowed” more than 6 trillion dollars from future generations of Americans, interest rates have been pushed to all-time lows, and the Federal Reserve has been wildly printing more money in a desperate attempt to “stimulate” the economy.”

3. Rep. Paul Ryan: House budget will assume the repeal of ‘ObamaCare’ : “House Budget Committee Chairman Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) on Sunday said he will not back down from the battle to repeal the 2010 Affordable Care Act even though some Republicans think the party should move on.”

4. CDC Warns Of SARS-Related Virus From Middle East : “The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has issued a new warning to state and local health officials about a virus that is related to Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) and appeared for the first time in September 2012.”

5. Number Of U.S. Gun Makers Refusing Sales To Gov’t In ‘Firearms Equality Movement’ Triples In Two Weeks : “In just two weeks, the number of companies participating in what has been named the “Firearms Equality Movement,” has more than tripled from 34 companies to 118. Full list here… Unfortunately, the big players are not on the list – Glock, Smith and Wesson, Sig, Ruger, Colt, Remington etc..

7. How to Plant an Iroquois Garden : “According to Iroquois legend, corn, beans, and squash are three inseparable sisters who only grow and thrive together. This tradition of interplanting corn, beans and squash in the same mounds, widespread among Native American farming societies, is a sophisticated, sustainable system that provided long-term soil fertility and a healthy diet to generations.”

8. JOHN LOTT: OBAMA SAID ‘I DON’T BELIEVE PEOPLE SHOULD BE ABLE TO OWN GUNS’ : “In his newest book, At The Brink, author John Lott tells his readers what he told Breitbart News in mid-January: when he met then-lecturer Obama at the University of Chicago in the 1990s, Obama said, “I don’t believe people should be able to own guns.”

9. ‘I Just Voted for Obama Because He’s Black’ : “These aren’t low-information voters; they are no-information voters. They are clueless. They vote in terms of race, feelings, and what other people are telling them. Actually, it’s worse.”

10. Christ Banned From Another US City : “Over the past 50 years, Jesus Christ, God and the Bible have been banned from public schools, government buildings and even street corners. Now any mention of Christ in many town council meetings has become a taboo.”

11. Obama Poised to Carry Out Hostile Military Takeover of US : “I’ve been told by a number of people that it would be impossible for any person to stage a military or hostile takeover of the United States. Ten years ago, I would have agreed with them, but not now.”

The difference between a liberal and conservative during an active shooter incident:

Liberal – Oh, no, a man with a gun. What should I do? I wonder if he was underprivileged? Is he mentally ill? Should I go up and talk to him, try and find out why he’s so angry? Should I shield my girlfriend or run? Why is this happening to me? Maybe I should vomit or urinate on him. Wait, I have a pair of blunted scissors, maybe I can threaten him with them.

Conservative – Pulls out a gun. BOOM, BOOM, BOOM. Game over scumbag.

1. Not only have antibiotics become practically useless, they are so strong that they have themselves become a health problem. I remember my late husband repeatedly saying that the antibiotics were killing him. Just recently my son had to take an antibiotic and he felt horrible after/while taking it and it took about 3 days after the last pill to feel normal. My sister has just finished one and she has groaned and moaned through the whole batch.
2. I don’t need a chart to know this.
3. I hope he succeeds.
4.One of the enemies we cannot see. We are at a horrible disadvantage if this becomes an epidemic. As in used against us.
5. This list is a start. The big boys had better decide which side they wish to be on. I think they are either waiting to see or they just do not want to see what is going on. They are living with greed and unbelief.
(6.)7. Good idea. Love it.
8. We know he speaks out of the side of his mouth and believes we should not have anyway to defend ourselves.
9. Stupidity has been around for decades . These people are brainless not stupid. Stupid you have hope for.
10. God, Jesus Christ has been fought for decades now. But they forget God and Christ are bigger than they are and they had better start worring.
11. I am amazed that smoking was mentioned. As a smoker (and yes I know it is bad for you) I warned my kids that what would be next a meter on you BED to track the activity? All of the things done has been done in bits and pieces, no one stood up for smokers “Because it stinks”, “Because it’s trashy”, etc. Stigma is how they won and those that sat on their behinds and didn’t see other things coming. But then as no one asked me see what has come about?

#2. Interest rates are starting to trickle up. My used car loan is 1.79%, the old one was 1.49%. Mortgage rates are also starting to go up. This actually is a good thing. Cheap money makes people take risks that they wouldn’t ordinarily make. Money investments need to be smart. Don’t expect someone else to look after you “treasure” as well as you should.

#11. It is hard to admit that this is even a possibility, yet many of the government’s actions could be seen as pointing in this direction. Firearms are our 1st line of defense, an implied threat to those who would take away our liberty. Growing regulation over the food supply is also troubling, from small farms to our school lunch menus. Increased dependence on foreign sources of energy, and sale of valuable natural resources to “unfriendly” foreign countries is troubling.

If you goal is to “fundamentally change” our country, it is happening. If you are looking out for the “welfare of the middle class”, it is failing miserably.

That’s because the small companies have principals and all the big companies have is greed. They have lost their way.

If the larger companies have publicly traded stock (all the ones named do), they may not be able to stop selling to ANY segment of the market. There are no doubt anti-gun nuts who have bought stock in order to protest at the annual meetings, and if the company said “we will not sell to law enforcement in NY state”, the stock holder could sue the board for, essentially, costing the stock holder money.

I realize it’s part of the “culture” (such as it is) to make every act of a corporation an exercise in demonic greed, but the reality is often different.

Excellent and valid point. As consumers we can make an impact although it may be minimal in scope. Given the current nature of arms availability there aren’t many options out there for most.

It maybe that now that there has been this run on guns and hopefully most everyone that needs one has one, we can boycott with not purchasing anymore if it’s possible. They may get millions of dollars from the government but they may lose more when millions no longer buy. At least until they see the light.
Ammo I believe is the necessary item now.

#1. Since I rarely take meds I always have the Dr give me regular penicillan. If I need pain pills it is never stronger than a Tylenol 3. I tend to challenge doctors to the treatment prescribed, since I started doing that I have been healthier. I am 51 and my Dr is amazed that I do not take any meds!
#4. Not surprised, too much over prescribed meds and the anti-bacterial soaps and cleansers do not help. Best thing to do is to build up your immune system.
Lots more info to read, study and pray over.

#11. The last time that I remember folks being this angry was during the Vietnam War. As Communists did before him, the White House is currently waging economic warfare against middle class American’s.
“Grind the middle class between the mill stones of high taxes and inflation” V.I. Lenin.

Even knuckleheads like Bill O’Reilly now see the storm clouds gathering, while Glen Beck wants us all to “surrender”?

Fear not, God is in control, NOMI!…………………….gone

The MSM has been lying about Unemployment rates for years now, as they never take into consideration the people still unemployed that are no longer receiving unemployment benefits.

What I would really like to see to decrease unemployment is mandatory drug screening prior to receiving any monies… if people that ‘work for their money’ are subjected to drug screening, then so should people that get money from the public coffers and do not work.

A friend stopped by yesterday. Haven’t seen him in a while. He just lost his right kidney to cancer, he turns 65 in April. I have known this man since 1982. so 21 years. His future? Uncertain? His attitude? shaken. He has a bucket list and his perspective has dramatically altered. He has loved his career, sometimes to the detriment of his personal relationships. He now sees the need to turn his attention to more “important” things. I told him that same thing 21 years ago……
Prayers please? He needs them

I would say the best survival over super bugs is wilderness isolation, grow your own, raise your own, school your own, and stay with your own.
.

The lies of unemployment are to make the public feel good about their Idol. The lies about the armegeddon from the sequestor bill they introduced and signed into law are to make other people at fault.

Obama Care will spin us into a disaster when implimented..

SARs sounds like I will isolate myself like I did for 10 years, washed my hands often, stayed away from public areas as much as possible, and never got sick. These viruses come and go, I don’t believe exposing
myself to Sars to build up my immunity.

If all the gun companies quit selling to the Government, the Government would take them over and not allow sales to the citizens.

Those who stand up for our 2nd ammendment laws will be the outlaws.

I voted for Romney because he was Rich. That is even a worse thing to say since the left has declared war on it.

What the left fears is being accountable for their own sins. This is why they don’t like Christains, Jesus, or God spoken in public.

Enjoyed the article on superbugs and the next pandemic. Last summer I gave some thought on what to do if there was another big flu scare that might actually turn out to be a genuine pandemic. Here is what I did besides keeping current on my flu shot: stocked up on N95 particulate face masks (specifically designed to filter out flu virus), non-sterile but clean disposable medical gloves, bottles of rubbing alcohol (50% to 90% concentrate), bottles of hydrogen peroxide, bottles of gell hand sanitizer, bottles of bleach, Lysol spray, canisters of disinfectant wipes, a metal wash basin to set near the front door, bars of Ivory soap, two all-synthetic scrub brushes, assortment of new all cotton and all synthetic wash cloths and towels. All this stuff is stored in my emergency supply closet and reserved for genuine emergencies. If the news media report a pandemic in the region where I live, my intention is to only go out of the house for essential errands (such as the walk to the neighborhood mail boxes) and to wear an N95 face mask and a pair of disposable gloves while doing this. I plan to only answer the door if wearing mask and gloves. I will require any admitted visitors to wash their hands very well at the front door and to don a face mask before coming inside (I’ll be wearing open carry, so can ensure no one gets in without my permission) and I will sanitize any inantimate objects, with Lysol spray, disinfectant wipes, etc., before allowing mail, commerically packaged food, etc. into the house. Also will daily sanitize the front door bell button and the front door knob. I know that antibiotics are not effective against viruses, but I also know that for us older folks the flu can lead to pneumonia and that can be treated with antibiotics. So I also bought the self-help book The Doom and Bloom Survival Medicine Handbook (J. Alton and A. Alton) and stocked up on the veterinary versions of some useful antibiotics, as recommended in the book. I’m not one of those people who uses other family member’s prescription medications or is afraid to visit a physician, but in a genuine pandemic, the last thing I want to do is sit in a physician’s crowded waiting room surrounded by coughing, sick people or get admitted to a hospital filled with sick patients and soon-to-be sick visitors, so my plan is to self-care at home as best I can and wait for a pandemic to burn itself out.
