New Non-Fiction Writing Contest Starts June 13 2011
Our readers have a wide variety of skills and backgrounds and our non-fiction writing contest gives each a chance to share their skills and unique knowledge with other survivors here.
This contest will start on June 13 2011 and end on August 13 2011.
First Prize) An 84 serving storage bucket of Wise Food Storage (a 25 year shelf life with no rotation needed) courtesy of Directive 21 a value of $159, also 500 rounds of 9mm ammo (or ammo of equal value) courtesy of Lucky Gunner a $120 value and a copy of my super great book The Dirt Cheap Survival Retreat a $12 value.
Second Prize) A NukAlert courtesy of Shepherd Survival Supply a $160 value.
Third Prize) A copy of my CD It’s The End Of The World As We Know It – And I Feel Fine a value of $19.99.
The more original and helpful your article is, the more deep and less basic it is, the better the chance that I will publish it and you will win.
Remember that I can only publish original and unique content. Your article must not have been published anywhere else, be at least 500 words in length and you must not republish it on another site.

If your post is accepted, please be patient as it can be several weeks before I am able to fit your post into my posting schedule. There is no limit to the number of articles you can submit for this contest.

Great prizes! I’ve got to find my thinking hat and put it on so I can enter.
MD, I have a suggestion for your contest. How about posting each entry as the headliner for the same length of time? In your last contest, some folks had their articles buried pretty quickly while other people had their articles remain on the top of the page for more than 24 hours. That isn’t exactly fair, is it?
I agree, equal time, equal billing for the contest.

Hiya,
If I enter the contest and win can you give the ammo to someone else? sadly I am in the UK and am not allowed to use so much as pepperspray let alone bullets to defend myself. Anyone selling on a BB gun lol
I wish there was a way of knowing whether or not my article was acceptible? I received the automated email confirmation that MD received my article but not sure if it met guidelines etc.
