A few things have happened since Barack Obama became the 44th President, our economy has taken a nose dive, over $400-billion in debt was accrued in the first 57 days of the Obama Presidency and gun sales have skyrocketed.Barack Obama is the most anti-gun president ever to sit in the White house. He can say whatever he wants to the contrary, but the truth can be found in his past.
Barack Obama’s anti-gun policy:
* 1994 to 2001 – Obama was on the board of the anti-gun Joyce Foundation. This foundation is the largest funding source for radical anti-gun groups in the country.
* 1996 – Obama supported a ban on the manufacture, sale and possession of handguns.
* 1999 – Obama proposed a 500 percent increase in the excise taxes on firearms and ammunition. This tax would effectively punish gun owners for buying guns and ammunition.
* 2003 – Obama voted in support of legislation that would have banned privately owned hunting shotguns, target rifles and black powder rifles in Illinois.
* 2004 – Obama voted against legislation intended to protect homeowners from prosecution in cases where they used a firearm to halt a home invasion.
My advice:
Get all the guns, ammunition and full capacity magazines you can while you can. Prices are going up and sometimes are double what they were only a month ago.
Several cache tubes (video) loaded with guns, ammunition and full capacity magazines hidden around your area is not a bad idea. No I am not saying you should bury all your weapons, only a few as an insurance policy against possible confiscation by Obama’s National Security Force.
Avoiding the paper trail:
Weapons obtained through private sales are best because you want to avoid the usual paper trail that comes with purchasing a firearm from the local gun shop.
Flea markets and gun shows are the first places to look. If you cannot find what you want here, then putting an ad in a local newspaper or better yet one from another area stating that you are a collector interested purchasing firearms for top dollar, will bring in plenty of offers from people needing extra cash.
Obama is a serious threat to the Second Amendment and the Constitution as a whole. Get ready I see storm clouds just over the horizon.

Wow, always amazed at the fearmongers both right and left…First, Obama signed the order that allows concealed weapons in National Parks, something Junior would not do. Or did you all miss that news? The Supreme Court overturned the DC ban and Chicago will be next. As bad as the extremes on both side are; there has been a shift over the years to the moderate middle, right where most of us are anyway.
The NRA has taken up the draconian laws here in Iowa, woohoo!

My greatest fears are if the feces hits the fans, the masses as represented by many comments here will be the FIRST to lay down dictorial law.

Have the people forgotten that we are the force that this tyrannical government thrives on…We have every right to overthrow it,or to dismember it.Our founding fathers gave us that right,and it is the sole purpose of the second ammendment to give us the nessesary tool for the next revolution,and this type of revolution has happened before,and i for one will not submit when the time comes,I would rather die as a TRUE AMERICAN PATRIOT than a government pig….

These states that challenge jurisdiction should fare well against the feds. we dont live in a federal enclave, such as guam, district of columbia. these are under thier control. states have the right to deny feds ignorrant rules. its time to tell them to get thier house in order and quit trying to reright law. they just arent good at it. as for home invasion, in ohio our gov was smart enough to pass a law that if someone comes imto your home you have the right to use deadly force. or we can do what the feds do on illeagal aliens, not follow that particular law. i think ill do the same as far as the gun control. never forget, a lot more of us as there is of them.
