Your prayers are needed – prayer request from Becky B

by M.D. Creekmore on December 23, 2013 · 77 comments

M.D. I did not know where to post this on the blog, so I thought I would send it to your mail box.

My dh could use all the prayers from the pack, they had to do major surgery and it does not look good, in fact the next 72 hours will tell us if he survives.

I could use the pray line the pack uses when we have a family member who is ill or needs that special remembrance in a prayer.

Due to this occurrence I shall be setting aside posting on the site.  You and all who use this wonderful program have been a blessing to our household.  We truly thank you for letting us be a part of your lives and knowledge.

Becky (& dear hubby)

Dear Lord Jesus,
Divine Physician and Healer of the Sick,
we turn to You in this time of a friend’s illness.
O dearest Comforter of the Troubled,
alleviate our worry and sorrow with Your gentle love,
and grant us the grace and strength to accept this burden.

Dear God,
we place our worries in Your hands.
We ask that You restore Your servant to health again.

Above all,
grant us the grace to acknowledge Your holy will
and know that whatsoever You do,
You do for the love of us.

Amen.

Becky:
May the God of all comfort (2 Corinthians 1:3-4) and the God of hope (Romans 15:13) bless you and your husband with His presence and healing power. He is a miracle working God and Father.
(Psalm 21:6)

Have not been on this site for a few days and just saw this.

Becky, you and your husband are in my prayers. There is NOTHING too difficult for our God. He still heals today. I watched him heal my son of kidney failure – one minute he was dying, the next he was healed, the color coming back in his face and within hours he was completely well. Even the doctors called him “The Miracle Boy”.

I and all of the Pack are praying for you!

Becky December 27, 2013 at 12:34 am

Dear Pack & MD;
Prayers are being answered, we have crossed one hurdle. His blood work came back as the doctor wanted which means that his surgical area is healing they way he wanted inside his body.
We believe they are transferring him from ICU to Surg/Med which out side ICU’s doors less than 20 feet away.
He is still not out of the woods yet due to major weight loss, and the possibility of pneumonia setting in, so prayers are still needed.
“THANK YOU” are only two words, but to me they mean a lot. You are all truly appreciated by myself and our families. May the New Year bring even better news for me to share with you. Until then God bless each and everyone of you.

Lantana December 27, 2013 at 8:52 am

Hallelujah–we pray the next report is even better!

Lauri no e December 27, 2013 at 11:24 pm

Becky December 30, 2013 at 1:00 am

Hi Pack & MD
When we thought he was on the mend, he developed an infection in the suture area. They will have to clean the grey matter down to pink tissue to get rid of any infected tissues. His doc will be in tomorrow, and it will be another very long day.
Please keep sending your prayers an good wishes for the dh. From our home to yours for those that are ill and in need a pray, we are thinking about you and sending prayers your way also.
One day at a time, is our motto now.
