Famine, GOP to Keep Obama Care, Flesh-Eating Bacteria: Your Thursday Briefing

Good morning.

Here’s what you need to know:

Up Poop Creek Without a Paddle

When you look at how much debt and future obligations are clinging to our financial system, it’s difficult to comprehend how it has lasted this long without imploding. Unfortunately, the inevitable collapse can’t be avoided for much longer, and it might be coming sooner than you think. Global Famine Ahead

In an effort to halt so-called “climate change” in other words, mad scientists are willing to put the entire human population at risk of a catastrophic global famine. Apparently, they’ve never heard about the Law of Unintended Consequences, sometimes dubbed “Murphy’s Law” in the sciences. It dictates that if something can go wrong, it will go wrong. Via Natural News: Climate change scientists launch geoengineering experiment that may accidentally cause a global famine.

Missouri woman dies after contracting rare tick-borne Bourbon virus

Tamela Wilson worked at a state park for more than 10 years, so she wasn’t fazed when she spotted ticks on her skin. She simply picked them off without giving it a second thought. The 58-year-old didn’t worry about contracting a tick-borne illness — but that’s exactly what happened. From CBS News: Missouri Woman dies after contracting rare tick-borne Bourbon virus.

Sen. Rand Paul: Senate GOP Decides to Keep Obamacare

I miss the old days when Republicans stood for repealing Obamacare. Republicans across the country and every member of my caucus campaigned on repeal – often declaring they would tear out Obamacare “root and branch!” What happened? Breitbart: Sen. Rand Paul: Senate GOP Decides to Keep Obamacare.

What would you do if the U.S. economy collapsed?

It’s 2029, and the president says the United States will default on its loans and won’t join other nations in converting to a new global currency. Treasury bonds that were once the gold standard — backed by the full faith of the federal government — have become worthless. Everyone is ordered to turn over his or her gold, including jewelry. Overnight — literally — people’s retirement savings are wiped out. How would you survive in such a world? From The Washington Times: What would you do if the U.S. economy collapsed?

Inside Venezuela’s economic collapse

These days, Venezuela is in the international headlines almost daily: food shortages, spreading hunger, people dying for lack of medicine, and soaring homicide rates. The Conversation: Inside Venezuela’s economic collapse. (Folks, whether you want to accept it or not this is where we are heading.)

Sharp Decline in Retail Activity a Sign of Pending Economic Collapse?

U.S. retail stores are facing a downward spiral in business, and this could precede an economic collapse. Almost daily we hear of layoffs or store closings in the retail sector. And while some argue that this is happening because more people are buying online, this isn’t true. The truth is that consumers are drastically pulling back on spending altogether. 1. JP in MT says:

Famine Ahead? It’s always a possibility. My advise to people is to stock up during the good times, wait out the bad.

There are plenty of warning signs out there, for those who are observant. Most aren’t. They seem to be waiting for “everybody else” to lead the way.

Right now, beans/lentils/barley is on “sale” for less than 1/2 the shelf price. There are plenty of long-term grocery items out there for reasonable or better prices.

    • JP in MT ,

You’re 100% correct – now is a good time to stock up – unfortunately many will not and instead they will put their faith in the hopes that Trump will save them.

  2. Goatlover2 says:

Boy, the comments in that Washington Times article on economic collapse were rather concerning. People really are of the opinion that “it can’t happen here!” Amazing…

    • Grammyprepper says:

That was definitely eye catching….how so many ppl have their head in the sand….All I could do was shake my head…..

    • Hi Goatlover2, Why I rarely read the Washington Post: the readers are so remarkably misinformed that they come up gems like this: “Let us be real here: The example of Greece is an example of capitalism out of control. There was enough in the world for everyone and for Greece to. The problem is that the capitalists did not want to send goods to Greece because they could get a better price for them elsewhere.” If this is the result of reading the Post, why would I read the post?

  3. JP in MT says:

The only one you can trust to look out for you is you.

  4. I agree with you, JP in Mt. Too many people believe everything said or printed

  5. ” Climate change scientists…”

This pretty much describes the chemtrailing that’s been going on for the last 15 years or so.

  6. For famine insurance, I am still a fan, of bulk grain in barrels with CO2. The movie “The Maltese Falcon” inspired me to make some concrete “art” (ok, they look like bricks). That will complement the metals stored in mylar bags, with O2 absorbers. These are buried in sealed PVC pipes. PVC storage alone can cause a “fogging” of the silver.
401k demise- Historically, Big Power always attracts the Al Capone, (gangster type); not the Mother Teresa, (serve God by serving people type). Answer? Power to the individual. Stay Strong with God

  7. Have known for years not to depend on Social Security or teacher retirement (state investments in money or stock markets. Heard today central bankers around the world are still putting money in the stock market which is still setting record highs. Not an “if” but “when.” The bigger it is the harder it falls!
