  1. it’s not in there. PLEASE check your sources. we’re as bad as they are when we blindly go around forwarding untruths.

  2. Mystery Guest says:

    Shamful wasn’t it.
Someone mentioned that when they were in grade school and the Challenger blew up their teacher had them write about how they felt about it. They said they really didn’t have any feelings about it other than it was a horrible accident. But they went ahead and wrote about it, but in the vane of what the teacher had put forth about their feelings.
So either the teacher knowingly or not, or the parents were a deciding factor in the children writing these letters.
I do not discount that children are smart, but they are not mature enough nor old enough to be spouting “what is going to be done about this”.
It also makes me sick about the counseling that they have now everytime some one sneezes. We have turned most of the younger generation into weak-kneed whimps. Their parents should be the ones to tell about horrible situations like this and that the bozo that did it was more than a moron. And that you don’t do S_ _ _ like that. NO MATTER HOW YOU FEEL.

    • Since the late ’60’s, the teachers have been encouraging the young children to be useful citizens. I won’t mention toward what direction. It’s one thing to ask young children to help within the community, but another entirely to “guide” them in writing political letters. Somewhere along the way in school they lose the ability to think, but to obey blindly instead.

      • This is the goal of “The New World Order”. People who think for themselves are a threat to control. Children must be taught what to think not how to think. The only hope we have for our children is to home school and teach the values our country was originally based on.

        • Sw't Tater says:

The sooner the parents of school age children realize that children will be indoctrinated in something, the less radical their decision will be to them… it will just become a normal choice that we choose whether to introduce our children to worldly values or Godly ones…Yes In clinging to guns and religion keeps me with my feet firmly on the ground and takes away the fear….for I know no matter what happens…who has complete control….If I die because I believe, I will be in Abraham’s bosom…until then I will do what I think I need to do to provide my family needs.

        • Encourager says:

Good point, Aunt B. That is one of the reasons we home schooled.

          • I send my son to a church ran school because i worked at a public school. I saw several very left wing “teachers ” brain washing kids and did not want that for my son.

            • HomeINsteader says:

Did you see the article I posted yesterday on a public school teaching that white people are oppressors of everyone who isn’t white?! If that doesn’t convince us to take our kids out of public schools, what will?

        • HomeINsteader says:

Our children are fully grown now and we did not homeschool; looking back, I wish we had. And I would certainly consider homeschooling the #1 choice TODAY!

For those of you who haven’t given it much thought, homeschooling is very hard work and time-consuming, but also one of the most valuable ways you can use your limited hours and days on this planet, if you have children, IMHO. And the ROI (return on investment) is beyond our ability to measure!

I have great admiration and respect for those of you who did it, those of you who are doing it, and those of you who will homeschool your children. You are my heroes!

I have no opportunity to reply to this statement as there is no “reply” depicted underneath your post so I’ll do it here.

Yes, we were the oppressors of everyone. You want to know why? Because we could. Seriously. I have an American Indian heritage to whatever degree but I have never tried to make a political statement. Moreover, my grandma, God rest her soul, totally looked like someone fooled around with a slave or two. People wonder why my hair is wiry and I’m the darkest one on the beach but I still feel caucasian. Picture Rambo since I’ve been called that forever.

That said, I get sick of the white devil talk. Does anyone think that if any African nation had the ability to build a ship and a nice sword that they would not have sailed the ocean blue to conquer and seek wealth whether it be land, gold or the fountain of youth? Think it through and within the times. As my black friend from the 2d Inf Div used to say, “if it weren’t us it would be some other MF” Sorry for the crudeness but that’s how I roll. If they could have, they would have back in the day. It’s not like one tribal territory has never tried to overtake another! I HAVE NO WHITE GUILT!

            • HomeINsteader says:

And I am descended from two Native American tribes. So what?

It is the nature of the beast in humankind to one to feel superior to others, no question about it. It’s why we are in need of a Savior. We are born to sin; it is our nature from the beginning.

That said, it’s no excuse for overt racism without regarding as to who is engaging in the act. Plain and simple. Racism is racism, and it’s ALL wrong.

            • HomeINsteader says:

man…I’ve got to pay more attention to my writing!

              to “want” to feel superior….

              without “regard” to

              Flunking English today, y’all! 🙂

            • HomeINsteader says:

PS: I’m not your opressor, or the Opressor of anyone else. Shame on you for perpetuating the leftist racist lies!

            • PGCPrepper says:

You missed the whole message of my post. Sad for you. You bore me. I’m out here.

            • PGCPrepper says:

There is nothing in my post that is illogical. Yes, I’m white and our forefathers acted in a certain way. I’m will never feel guilty about waht happened 200 years ago but i sort of understand it when I study history. I will not feel guilty for my forefather’s actions as we learn from it as we try to forge a better society.

As I said, if the Indians or Africans had the ability to build a ship and had superior weapons, we would be calling them black devils and we would hate them for enslaving us. Just the way it is. I do not have any white guilt! Next to the Gettysburg Address, MLK’s speech “I have a dream” is the most beautiful speech I’ve heard. I just listened to it. I don’t get what HomeINsteader is talking about but this is my last post here so it matters not. Good luck.

            • I check the other box and say that I am mixed european.Just cuase I am white does not mean we are all the same. I am Finnish and english from my dad And Irish and Itilian from my mom.I have 4 distinct personality traits and cultures in my makeup. Not just a typical white person.

          • Woohoo — now I shall good about myself for the rest of the day!

Actually, my wife should as she does most of the work homeschooling our three. And yes, it is a wonderful thing — we are three years in after doing public school for too long and each day I see the return on investment with the kids.

As for TDL, like Hitler we have his writings and he has laid out his plans, generally, and yet the country is somehow shocked when he carries them out.

      • I think teachers lately have been inculcating our children to be useful idiots.

  3. A very simple search correctly states that only the first sentence is an actual quote. The rest was pieced together later by an unknown author. I believe having children as props to tug at the emotions of voters is a poor choice for our President- it’s dishonest and counterproductive. But so is passing off a bogus Hitler quote.

    • Mystery Guest says:

      The quote maybe bogus.
But we know that Hitler used children, educated children, had nurseries, and the Hitler youth, to further his agenda.
We now have “it takes a community to raise a child”, totally secular educational system, pre-schools, and baby sitters or nannies in the infant stages.
I will take this misquote to be a warning and gist that you control the child and you control the parent.
Now all things pretaining to child rearing is under the guise of education. You as the parent are only for custodial care if that. They allow you to have the kid for a few hours a day and if the school year gets any longer and homework gets any worse you will be having less time with your children.
How’s that going work for a us?

    • HomeINsteader says:

There is a HUGE difference between making a mistake and “passing off a bogus” anything. I’m sure we ALL (including YOU) have made statements we were sure, just absolutely certain, just KNEW beyond a shadow of a doubt – were correct – only to learn later, they were not. The inference here is a deliberate act of deception. It speaks to motivation.

I believe we have a bit of insight on MD’s heart, and it is not to pass off ANYTHING “bogus”, certainly not intentionally, nor do I believe MD has any interest in intentionally deceiving anyone on anything. Let’s be careful in the choosing of our words – words are very powerful, are they not?

Each of us allowing one another to be a bit human before rushing to judgment is always a good thing, don’t you think?

  4. Hhhmmm, uuhhhmmm.

  5. The Reichstag is burning:

  6. Tactical G-Ma says:

I hate that I was right in 2008. I weep for our nation.

  7. I spend a lot of time studying the Third Reich when I was in the service, stationed in Germany (once in Berlin), and although I would have to dig for the books to get you quotes, the National Socialists were, verbally, pro worker, pro middle class, and had national programs for both boys and girls (separate of course). These programs emphasized to need to unquestioned support of the State, the Leader, and of the inferiority of other groups and the superiority of other groups. Many of these differences had visual difference, either in race or culture. References were made to “unfair” advantages in wealth while courting the major businesses and funneling funds to them for their support. It was said that massive “works” programs were needed to support the people, these programs were all government funded!

Now I don’t think that the current administration is Fascist. But they are using the same types of tactics to influence our youth, our poor, and gain acceptance for bigger government support. Bread and Circus’s.

If we fail to look at the present through the lens of the past, how can we hope to learn from mistakes of our forefathers, stand on the shoulders of giants, and climb to new and better heights. All well manage to do is make the same mistakes and fall as hard or harder that they did.

      • HD:

I’m afraid that there are a great many people that vote with the pretense of “what’s in it for me”. They allow their vote to be bought. And sometimes, the sell it for the “promise” of something they don’t even end up getting.

      • Sad but ture. Look where his votes came from. The majority was from huge cities that has huge welfare programs.

    • Just remember what Stalin said…To paraphrase…It’s NOT the vote of the people that wins an election…it’s who counts the votes.

  9. While it is true that some quotes attributed to Hitler are false, one must remember that those very quotes were often generated by his actions.

The book itself went through several editions due to editors and translators. But the meaning behind the literary work of “my struggle” was clear, despite him being a lousy writer.

The above quote apparently is attributed to the Ralph Manheim translation bought by Houghton Mifflin in 1943, which was then published in England by Hurst & Blackett in 1969. It is available for purchase on Amazon, but I don’t have it – prefer to spend my money elsewhere.

However, I did research two free online versions in English and one in German. As far as I can tell, the above quote was not on within a 6 page range of 403. However, the concept of early indocrination of youth is evident is clearly evident in the chapters. (click on the left)

If anyone does scan a copy – it would be interesting to see if it has the quote.

  10. Dean in Michigan says:

Who cares what the actual quote was. The only fact that matters is that the POS is using children to pull on the heart strings of the people, just like Hitler did.

  11. Rider of Rohan says:

Fascism is described as a form of totalitarianism that uses the apparatus of the state to control the economic, religious and social systems of a nation-state. Draw your own conclusions, but it looks pretty obvious to me.

  12. Patriot Dave says:

This controversy is not over by a long shot.

    The Book Description from Amazon:
“They Got Mein Kampf Wrong! Adolf Hitler’s book, Mein Kampf, has been controversial for many reasons but one of the greatest controversies has been over the English translations. We have discovered that these older versions contain mistranslations, inaccurate translations, and outright embellishment. Mein Kampf: A Translation Controversy takes a look at Mein Kampf like no one has before and explains many elements that have confused readers. We also reveal many passages that were quietly omitted from past English translations. I reviewed and checked every line and for the first time, Mein Kampf is available in an easy to understand version. This long road of research and sweat from the development of a new translation has revealed over 1000 errors in past English translations. Now you can discover previously unknown aspects to Mein Kampf and understand it as no one has before. There are many secrets in the pages of Mein Kampf. They have remained hidden by poor and inaccurate translations. In this critical analysis of the existing English translations, we will reveal countless errors that have distorted the meaning of the work. We will also explain some important points about Mein Kampf that have confused readers in the past and give you some background information that will enhance the political and historical meaning of this hotly debated work. Don’t miss your chance to learn what few people know. Read Mein Kampf: A Translation Controversy now.”

I am certain that both H and O had and have the sentiments expressed in the quote. But for the sake of accuracy, integrity, reputation, trustworthiness, and not stooping to the liberals’ level of using blatant lies, I would want to confirm this before repeating it or sharing it. Otherwise I could lose all credibility with those I am trying to persuade.

On the subject of children.. Went to dinner at my mom’s like every thursday, My 6 year old nephew and my 1 year old niece, along with my sister are there. My mom watches the kids instead of sending them to daycare. Anyway my niece had just woke up from a nap and I commented on her hair. She looked like Madusa! Like a good brother, he stuck up for his sister.. The response was and I quote “I’ll call the county police on you.” He’s in kindergarden! What in the hell are they teaching these kids now. Gladly they know very little about what I actually have. I can just hear show and tell if he did….

  18. MountainSurvivor says:

I’ve seen Obama using a little of that form of propaganda recently but no one suspects that what he is doing is very similar to Hitler’s. If anyone wants to read Mein Kampf, please be careful not to get sucked into Nazism and the hate Hitler had for his fellow Jews (he was a Jew and much of what he did went against the Word of God), his propaganda is mentioned in the document, go here:
That Jew which liked to have people murdered, deemed insane and experimented upon loved it when the girls were having sex to produce children just for him so that they could keep the reich going. It is horrifying to think that a lot of children have been taught to sing songs about Obama, replacing Jesus’ name with his. Sick bunch of Nazis and Nazi supporters we have in our nation. I’ll never bow down to them. They’ll not take my skin while I am alive and turn it into a lamp shade and other things. Sick bunch. Totally sick bunch of cannibalistic freaks! Our nation IS being washed of it’s ways and turned into something no one recognizes. Just look at the Youth Corps of today. It’s good that no one suspects a thing or the reich that is forthcoming might be out of business. I cannot forget that Obama recently said that “they” can still go FORWARD. They are so headstrong, that they are still going to be working around the clock to TRANSFORM the United States of America because they lust after power and control.

  19. If King Barack is gonna act like Hitler let’s sing about him like Spike Jones sang about Hitler.

When Pelosi says that healthcare is a big disgrace
We heil (pffft) heil (pffft) right in Pelosi’s face
When Feinstein says we’re gonna take your guns
We heil (pffft) heil (pffft) right in Feinstein’s face

Are we not the supermen, Obama’s supermen?
Yes we are the supermen (super duper supermen)
    Is Obamaland so good
Would you leave it if you could?
    Yes Obamaland is good
We would leave it if we could

We bring the New World Order
    Obama’s New World Order
    Everyone in this place
    Had better love Obama’s face
When we bring Obama’s New World Order

  20. Robert in Arabia says:

Hitler was a hero and a patriot. He travelled in an open convertible. Films will show that he was not surrounded by bodyguards.
He did not confiscate the guns of German citizens. He liberaized the restrictions put in place by the socialists who preceded him.
His government did ban the 22 short caliber bullets because they caused suffering to kill rabbits.
He did disarm the Jewish population after the World Zionist Organization declared war on Germany in 1933.
Private weapons were confiscated after Stalin’s allies conquered Germany.
A google image search for Hitler and children will show that children liked him. Try a google search for Obama and children or Hillery Clinton and children or George Bush and children. The American politicians have to have perfectly groomed children for staged TV ops.

      • PGCPrepper says:

Man, you are so right. I liked Christie but he does sort of define a “rino” sic. I had hope that he would take his bullhorn and move folks right of center on a fiscal level. I do not care about all the idiocy espoused by conservatives that does not allow the party to coalesce on a fiscal POV due to social issues. Leave that between your conscious and God and think about the larger picture. He could have been a star but he has failed largely. Pun intended.

  23. HomeINsteader says:

They’ve threatened to cut off his food supply, I’m guessin’…the feller could miss a few meals, and it would be o.k….just sayin’….

  24. Dean in Michigan said, “who cares what actual quote was…he is using children like Hitler did.”

Dean is right, in my opinion. Actions speak louder than words and our leader’s actions are talking pretty loud.

The diverse community I grew up in had many people who had survived Hitler and Mussolini. When they escaped or were freed by the allies, they brought belongings including the few books they managed to hide.

They ALL said that it was dictator’s written and visual propaganda that blinded the masses and that books were re-edited to mirror that progaganda. The brainwashed masses burnt millions of books in giant bonfires, erasing the potential for honest debate between people who had different views.

I fear one day such atrocity will happen here in America: That there will be only one version of history – the approved version. I think I will start keeping my history books with my emergency supplies.

  25. Encourager says:

It amazes me how many people (and I am not speaking of the Pack) believe all the propaganda that the Holocaust was fake, it was all the Jews’ fault anyway, Hitler was a good guy (after all, seems children love him), Socialism works, nobody confiscated guns, etc., etc., etc.

Hitler was a MONSTER who had monsters working for him that did experiments on little children, especially twins, with no anesthesia, destroying the reproductive organs of little girls to the point where they could never have intercourse as adults. They tormented children, teenagers and adults for entertainment. He used woman to ‘breed’ the perfect race, forcing them to mate with many men so no one would know who the father was. His monsters thought nothing of raping women and children in front of the husband/father, or beating to death the husband/father in front of his family. They used to strip Jewish children to check to see if they had a tail because that is what Hitler’s regime taught.

If anyone thinks Hitler was normal, not a monster, was a good guy ~ your conscience is seared already.

    • Encourager:

For those that question the Holocaust….I’ve been to Dachau. There is no other way to describe the felling you get there other than EVIL. I was there in the summer, and everyone had their coat on; it was cold. The children were subdued, even after a long bus ride. It is very hard to explain this to someone who has not experienced it. But if you were there and observant, everyone was affected.

  26. You could put the current “Thief in Chief” in that picture with no problem. Part, only part, of the problem with schools today is that the moment the school tries to teach the curriculm the way they should or U.S. History, in its’ proper context, is that our Fed. Gov’t threatens to take away “funding”. Kind of like “blackmail” or “extortion”, in the long run. We know both of these are “crimes” which will put the average citizen in jail…but not our “lawmakers” as they are “above the law”.

Four U.S. States which have implemented Constitutional Carry
    “Constitutional Carry” States:
The first to practice Constitutional Carry was Vermont. Vermont has never had a restriction on the method of how one could carry a firearm and has stood entirely separate from the rest of the United States for quite some time; because of this, Constitutional Carry is referred to by some as “Vermont carry”.
On June 11, 2003, Alaska Governor Frank Murkowski signed House Bill 102 which removed the requirement to obtain a concealed weapons permit in order to carry a concealed firearm. The law went into effect September 9, 2003.
On April 16, 2010, Arizona Governor Jan Brewer signed Senate Bill 1108 which acted similarly to Alaska’s bill. The law went into effect July 29, 2010.
On March 2, 2011 Wyoming Governor Matt Mead signed legislation to allow Constitutional Carry. The law officially went into effect on July 1, 2011. Under the law residents can carry concealed or openly without a permit but visitors to the state must have a valid concealed carry permit from a jurisdiction that is recognized by the State of Wyoming.
