A savage nation

I am sure a lot of my readers listen to talk radio, at least to some extent. I did when I worked second shift, every evening at my lunch break the first thing I would do after setting down in my old Chevy Blazer to partake of my meager lunch , was turn the radio to The Savage Nation and listen to Micheal Savage rant and rave about the world as he sees it.

Savage has lots of information, statistics and documentation to back what he has to say. He is good at what he does. He could be the best in talk radio today. Savage is a master of telling the right what they want to hear. And he undoubtedly makes a hefty living while doing it. His main comments are centered toward liberals and national problems from a political view point, he can go on for hours about how the liberal left are bringing down the country.

The thing is he offers no real advice as to how to solve the problems that he spends hours ranting about. If he were to advise his listeners to stockpile food, medical, supplies, guns and ammo and to become as self sufficient as possible, he would be off the air in short order.

The majority of his listeners I am sure are locked into the system, and all he offers them is a false hope, that things can be changed if we pull the correct political apron strings. I think Savage knows deep down inside that we are on a roller coaster to hell in a big way, and there is nothing any of us can do about it.

I still listen to him occasionally, not to learn anything of use, but to be entertained when I have nothing better to do.
