Today I got the following question via email from Brent (a reader of The Survivalist Blog) I thought I’d post it here as a question for everyone to answer.
Since I don’t watch a lot of television and haven’t even watched some of the shows, I think readers can answer this better than I could.

Hi M.D.,
I follow your blog all the time and really enjoy it (it’s one of my homepages). Anyway, I was wondering if you would do a blog on all the “disaster” or “survivalist-like” tv shows/movies and rate them as far as teaching you survival skills (not saying their intention is to teach, but what people may learn from the show by watching it). There are a few out there that may have some type of connection…”The Colony,” “Jericho,” “Survivorman,” “Man vs Wild,” “Surviving Disaster,” and who knows what else.
