The New York assembly is debating Cuomo’s gun control right now. It has come up more than once that the intention is to pass something before Washington does, and that it comes down to Prince Andrew Cuomo’s aspirations for the White House in 2016. One assembly-person complained that they did not receive a copy of the bill until midnight and the state is pushing them to vote on it today.
UPDATE: The gun control bill has just passed in New York. After giving the assembly the bill less than 24 hours ago, and Gov. Cuomo waiving the 3 day cooling off period, they pushed it through. I see they barely mentioned mental health in that article, only saying they could confiscate weapons of mentally ill people. The way it was explained today…the way I understood it…was that if your shrink or doctor had concerns that you may harm yourself or anyone else (i.e. -depression), they can notify authorities, who would then run a check to see if you have any registered guns. Then they would confiscate. What happened to HIPAA?

The Vermont State Rep, Fred Maslack has suggested a 500 fee on those who choose not to own a gun, and therefore are not ready to defend the state as part of the militia.

If you have a usb port on your netbook you can use a regular usb mouse with it. I bought a little travel mouse to use with my old Asus netbook. I use a usb mouse and full keyboard with my regular laptop as well. Hate trackpads and laptop keyboards with a passion…lol. They aren’t made to fit either of my fingers that know how to type.

Learn about Jury nullification. Jury nullification occurs when juries acquit criminal defendants who are technically guilty, but who do not deserve punishment. It occurs in a trial when a jury reaches a verdict contrary to the judge’s instructions as to the law.
nullification is also a right of the states under an amendment, can’t recall the number now, that says the states can decide not to follow a law it deems contrary to their constitution.
Unfortunately, rr, there’s also a law on the fed books that federal law always supersedes state. So, seems to me states would BE FORCED to nullify any law they’re going to refuse to comply with, or give in to the fed.
If NY goes thru with this… it will be the start of the next American Revolution. To my knowledge no semi auto pistol holds less than 7 rounds in the mag. I think even the 45′s hold at least 8. So now the folks in NY will be down to revolvers again… just like the old west.

You must ground the metal especially if you are going to be walking on it. Lightning would love it if your feet were wet and you touch the metal walls or you step onto the metal floor. But, if you want to use the shed to gain notoriety and go viral, you could always set up a camera and record how bright and bony your innerds look when a good bolt runs through you.
Yesterday on fox news a scientist showed a recent solar flare of low magnitude. But he also showed how the internal activity of the sun is escalating indicating that a big event is eminent. I want to shield my portable generator, radios, and various, servo mechanical and electronic equipment. I saw on YouTube how a guy turned a metal cabinet into faraday cage with metal backed brick wall sheeting and metal tape. I know all this is theoretical. But I feel I should do something to try to save a few things. DH wears an insulin pump and I want to shield his back-up too. Living without electricity is no big deal but some things will make living easier.

This will be my last post here, or anywhere else. In a very famous sermon a Pastor in 1750 said that “Resistance to tyranny is obedience to God”. This sermon was one of the matches which lite the American Revolution.
As a Seminary trained former Pastor, believe me when I say that it is clear that as Christians we are not to take offensive action to gain our goals. It is also clear that Governments are put in place by God for our benefit.
However, when a Government acts as a Tyrant, it is our Christian Duty to resist it and defend any and all who would be harmed by said Government.
I write this because tomorrow the course of this Nation will be altered. Some are ready, and even looking for a fight. Other’s are willing to go along with some changes to our laws, if done in a lawful manner.
No matter what happens, I call upon all the Faithful in Christ to remember, that defense is Biblical, offense is not.
I and my family have sold all of our semi-automatic firearms. We did this as an act of good faith. However, we will not be disarmed further, as a is needed to defend against the “wolves” of this fallen world.

If you’re talking about fulfilling the Will of Holy G-d, I don’t know which Bible you’re reading, but the one I read very clearly indicates that Holy G-d does, in fact, REQUIRE “offensive action” as a faith act from His people. Examples? How many times did He instruct one or more of His children to kill another human being? He saw the big picture, He knew the end game, and He knew removing them from the equation WAS the game changer. There were times when He even instructed that men, women, and children be killed; He knew exactly what He was doing every time, and He still does. Not taking “offensive action” may be an act of disobedience. Read your Bible, and forget what the talking heads told you in seminary.
