37 Statistics Which Show How Four Years Of Obama Have Wrecked The U.S. Economy : The mainstream media covered the inauguration of Barack Obama with breathless anticipation on Monday, but should we really be celebrating another four years of Obama?

25 Signs American Women Are Being Destroyed By The Sexual Revolution And Our Promiscuous Culture : “Has the sexual revolution been good for American women? Not at all. In fact, when you look at the facts it becomes clear that the sexual revolution has been an absolute disaster for American women.”

America Should Declare Bankruptcy : “This week started with President Obama Monday demanding lawmakers raise the U.S.’s $16.4 trillion debt ceiling, warning Republicans not to insist on spending cuts in return.”

David Attenborough – Humans are plague on Earth : “Humans are a plague on the Earth that need to be controlled by limiting population growth, according to Sir David Attenborough.”

Nine reasons why politicians will cause an economic collapse : “An utter collapse of the United States economy won’t come from the private sector, a Wall Street executive, the expansion of Walmart or even corporations outsourcing much of their work to places like India or China. When a collapse does take place and provide tremendous pain to Americans, the primary culprits will be the Washington elite.”

  2. riverrider says:

i wanted to hurl watching the coronation yesterday. he said “life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, but not everybody’s idea of liberty is the same” i guess his idea of liberty is freedom from work, paying bills, thinking, or defending yourself. liberty from your money? and women cheered when he said equal pay for them. they don’t realize that they already have that protection, and his policies will cause employers to hire men instead of women so they can’t get sued. there’s no reliable statistic showing less pay for women doing the same job as men. they use the census data of all things. gonna be a long four years….

    • I couldn’t bear to watch any of it. He is simply useless.

      • Hunker-Down says:

When his face shows up, I change the channel. I cant stomach any more of his propaganda. He is so duplicitous that I know if I change the channel I will only miss out on falsehoods: I MUST go elsewhere to find the truth.
Everyone has an agenda so the truth is hard to find, but the history of Russia, Germany, France, Zimbabwe, Korea and other breakups shine the light of truth on where he is taking us.

      • mountain lady says:

I did not even turn on the TV or radio yesterday. I watched season 1 of Downton Abbey twice in two days.

    • riverrider – I can personally tell you that laws to protect women for equal pay don’t always work. I have laid out facts to my hubby and two male friends regarding my own pay history in comparison to someone where I work and they all ask me why I stay when it is obvious that I am treated differently because I am a woman. I am in a position where I can see way too much information and I know for a fact that women here are treated differently – less pay and lower bonuses than men in similar positions.

      • riverrider says:

then take it to the fair labor relations board. there are already regulations prohibiting such. my problem with legislation is the lawmakers seldom account for unintended consequences, making matters worse. sometimes also the woman has a job title equal but is not doing equal work. i ran into it often in the military. i’m not saying that applies to all or even most, but enough that employers might be hesitant to hire a woman under such legislation. sometimes laws intended to help don’t.

      • Rider of Rohan says:

If you are getting paid less for the same job and you know it, you have a cause of action with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. I have worked numerous cases with them over the years and information on contacting them is required to be posted in your workplace. If you know you’re being mistreated under the law and do nothing about it, that’s another thing altogether that has nothing to do with the law.

However, if another person has a different job than you and pay and benefits are different then that’s up to the EEOC to determine. I haven’t worked with them in a while, but last I knew one was allowed to file a cause of action without being identified, at least in the discovery phase of the proceeding. Just something for you to ponder, not any advice.

        • I will ponder. Overall, it is a good company but there are some internal issues they have to overcome.

    • Don’t worry, everyone’ll end up getting equal pay when the national debt ceiling falls in and the dollar tanks. Trouble is, it will all equal out to 0.

I just need to laugh at the one sidedness of the media and folks that repost teh bs they spew onto the American public.

Take the first story : 37 stats how 4 years of obama have wreaked the economy. umm the freakin economy was wreaked when he took office, and was on its way long before that. This ponzi scheme has been treading water for years. Take Drudge the other day leading with the story how gas was 1.67 in jan of 09 and in jan of 2013 its 3.60 Well only a dummy would fall for that one sided BS. Gas was 3.70 in jan of 08. only reason it was down in 09 is teh dammed economy crashed. Its this kinda bs that shows me both sides have their heads in the sand.

I’ll stear clear of the women story and leave that for a woman to reply too.

The America should declare bankruptcy story : We should have done that when we needed to borrow money to pay our dam bills and could have afforded to pay back teh dam money. Now people want to print that crap when we’re in a situation that will cause hte freakin world to end for 99.9% of hte population.

Lets sit on our ass and keep posting stuff how we goto walmart and buy our preps

Humans are a plauge on the earth? Well tbh that old fart is 86 years old. Look at what hes seen in his life. If I were to see the progression of our species I may say the same dang thing. while I do not agree at all with population controls as its against my beliefs I can at the same time see where loosing some of the scum I see today walking the streets might not be a bad idea. Lets start in Washington DC and work in an outwards pattern.

The clowns in Washington will cause the collapse: Yeah because we allow them to do it. WE ALLOW this crap to continue. Its so easy to blame others. Stop buying cheap china made crap. Stop buying dope. Get a job and pay your way. elect people and hold them accountable.

/rant off as I need to head to work to pay for the entitlements promised to people who put in 1/3rd of what they take out, for people who have 7 kids with 7 daddies, for crap heads that carry drugs into my country and so that wife of the black king can get a new damed hair cut. All was great back in the day people collecting pensions off the backs of others, well there is not enough others to go around now and not enough jobs to get enough others to cover your dam pensions. Now I’m the one who gets screwed, thanks alot!

    • riverrider says:

aweful shortsighted on the pension issue there george. for instance, i worked/served 30 years so far. i’ve paid in a boatload of cash to ss. if that cash was left in the trust fund like designed, it would pay my pittance of a ss check all by itself indefinitely. however i will die shortly after i sign up, its in the dna. so all my contributions go to the pot, as do the many thousands who pay in but die before they ever get a damn dime. now lets say you retire and ss is still there. well maybe your life expectancy is 85, good genes. thats 20 years of living off the dole as you put it. ss and medicare wouldn’t be a burden on the taxpayer if congress kept their greedy little paws off the trust funds. now they’ve spent that money and continue to spend the weekly contributions and say “ss is breaking us, more taxes”. well george i suggest you channel your anger at tptb and hold THEM responsible, not the pensioners that paid in BY LAW. there’s plenty of blame to go around, let’s make sure those that deserve it get it.

      • worrisome says:

River Rider and George, and they call them “entitlements” as if we have not contributed. I am a pretty good investor, had I had access to invest my own contributions, I would never need social security. It is crazy how badly things have been mismanaged for how long that it has been that way. We ARE at fault, we elect these jack hats and then go back to sleep……..

      • Backwoods Prepper says:

RR Don’t forget about suplimental ss you know the one where the lazy crazies don’t have to work a day in their life to get. Being in the position im in I meet alot of people who have moved to this community just to get on it. they say it is easier here than anywhere else.

      • I feel warm and comfy noting that if I die before I collect that the money will go to a freeloader that just showed up in the country two years before and now collects SSI. It happens every day and it will keep happening since they vote Democrat.

    • This reminds me of a joke I once heard.

A woman went down to the welfare office to apply for more food stamps. She told the worker that she had ten kids. When asked their name, she said, “David.”
The man asked, “You mean all your boys are named David?”
Curious, the man asked, “How do you know which one to call when you want something?”
“I just call them by their last name.”

    • Thomas T. Tinker says:

Dear Georgeislearning.. and everybody else in the Pack:

Let us say you have paid into SS and Medicare a total of $100.000.oo over the term of your working life… but lets use my numbers to date ok… and you can rough out the total due each month on your own. I have paid, to date, a total of $192.601.oo.

Back to the $100.000.oo… lets say you don’t get a cent of interest on this money until one month after you pull the pin and retire! Let us say you hope to live a woppen 20 more years. Lets say you should earn a pathetic %5 interest on the money you in effect LOAN the Government for the ‘term’ of the loan to them.

At %5 annually the Federalies SHOULD be paying you….. ready for it?…….$$6599.56 per month for 20 years.

Lets say you don’t think you’ll make it but 10 years just for kicks and you’ed like your money back with interest…. that comes to….. wait for it!!!!!!!! $10,606.55 a month.

Currently the payment ‘given’ each Boomer at that 100K level is about +/- $1000.oo per month.

Now fellow ‘Packers’ if you thought the Federalies are screwing your grandkids, just think about how much sand they are adding to the olde personel lubricant they are using on the dumb putzes that paid em that cash over the years. And Packers, think about the ‘trillions’….. $1,000,000,000.oo in what could have been ‘venture capital’…. invested assets… money to put to work in OUR economy that our friend in the DC beltway have pissed away.

      George…. Packers….. Ya MAD yet?

Ya wann really go spazzzzolla figure out the compounded interest NONE of us will ever see…….. and what you in fact loan the feds. What you ‘should’ be paid each month. Do that and you can see that ONE PERSONS CONTRIBUTIONS could pay current retirees benefits at todays rate at over 6 to 1. Based on $100K.

      NOW are ya pissed off???????

      • Thomas T. Tinker says:

In the end, I’d just like to say that IF I am lucky enough to get out of the work force ALIVE….. GET THE F–K OFF MY BACK AND JUST HAND BACK WHAT I LOANED THE FEDERALIES IN THE FIRST PLACE and don’t give me this Shit about people taking out more than they paid in. Do the F–king math.

  4. FemaleUrbanPrepper says:

As a female I used to wonder if it was actually true that equally skilled males and females receive a difference in pay. Then over the years I worked at various companies (large and small) in finance and human resources. I was amazed at the differences. I also begin to notice the descrepancy regarding my own skills and my paycheck. People can believe whatever they want but I learn from what I have experienced and laws or not…women are not valued as much when in comes to compensation in the workplace.

    • Agreed – I work in Accounting, see every check written and have access to P/R. I see it all and I know that equal pay is a mirage.

      • The Zebra says:

Well, do you believe The Dear Leader when he says he will correct that situation? He and his party talk a good game of “inclusiveness” and “diversity”, but check out his current cabinet for females and minorities. The only black man he has in the cabinet (Eric Holder) ought to be in jail. I guess Obama figures giving him a cabinet post will keep him off the streets…

        • I don’t believe anything he says – far from it. Historically, Republicans are the ones that have not only fought for equal rights but have lived it. Obama’s female cabinet members are paid 70% of their male counterparts on average. As you noted, there is only one black man. Compare that to Bush.

  5. Yeah and those welfare addicts that we are supporting won’t even say “Thank You’ what they will say is give me more!!!!
I saw a young 20’s foodstamp couple in the store the other day and all they had in their cart were frozen dinners snd pizzas, had about 25 of each. I think anyone who gets foodstamps should have to take a basic nutrition and basic cooking class to get their govt aid. They should also ban them from buying that kind of proccessed crap also but then that would descriminate against them and make them feel bad. GUESS WHAT they should fell bad if they are young and healthy and just don’t want to get off their ass and take responsibility for themselves and their 7 kids!!!! Have some damn PRIDE in yourself and step up and be a useful member of society and not a parisite.

Sorry for the rant but it is going to get a lot worse, and I have seen a lot of the scamming the system first hand and it makes me sick.

    • riverrider says:

the sad part is they are scamming the system until it breaks. then there won’t be help for those that need a temporary hand . there’s a quote that goes “charity and tolerance run out about the same time”, bad things happen right after that, and good people get caught in the crossfire.

    • Gotta agree with george on the nutrition and cooking lessons. Way too many folks out there can’t boil water much less cook. I taught my kids to cook, including my son, as I figured it was a survival skill. Just like I taught them basic auto and home repair, including my daughters.

I also think recipients of welfare should be spayed and neutered for the duration of the time they receive welfare and have to report to job centers daily until they find work or get off welfare. Don’t show up, lose your benefits. If nothing else they should be made to go out with a little stick with a point on it or a broom and pan and pick up litter for eight hours a day.

      • I knew a woman once who was raising her granddaughter and was on welfare. The granddaughter had down’s syndrome or something similar and the woman was trying to get a hysterectomy or tubal ligation for her granddaughter. She was denied. I think this woman was trying to do the right thing, but the “system” would not allow it.

  6. I see alot of blame directed at women and none at men. Those babies were not conceived only by those women. Every man is responsable for birth control in his sex life. Those men who are only interested in scoring. should be supporting his welfare babies, and be required to have a vasectomy if he can’t support every one of them. When men only desire and value ladies and responsable women, that is what young women will strive to be. Every man should be teaching the boys around them to respect women and girls and if the lady or girl does not act respectable, avoid them.

    • Thank you Aunt B. Teens are curious creatures and will explore anything they find of interest – especially that which is forbidden. They have been having sex for centuries. One difference now is that we discuss it (except where our own children are concerned) and people aren’t getting married at 13 and 14 like my ex-hubby’s grandparents did. Another difference is that many boys (not all) aren’t being taught to respect girls and take responsibility (use protection). I have experience with this because I have daughters who have talked to me about their experiences as teens, how the boys treated them and expectations among their peers. I also remember hearing about girls who got pregnant when I was a teen doing it to “trap” the boy and force him into marriage – nobody ever asked why it was up to the girl to use protection and not the boy. Another big difference now is that there aren’t any more shotgun weddings – people don’t see the need to get married to have children.

There are so many issues on so many levels that have contributed to our societal problems that you can’t look at one thing and say – hey, that’s the problem. I’m not saying that everything that came from the sexual revolution was great but like with everything, we have to figure out the good parts so we can keep those and learn from the bad.

      • Aunt B, GA Red, I ‘m confused.
For 50 years I have been hearing that it’s a womans body, a womans right, and no man has the right to say or do anything contrary to the womans wishes.
Now I hear that everything is the guys responsibility. What????

        • Ron – women can protect against pregnancy on their own, but they can’t protect themselves from STD’s unless the guy is willing to use protection. Besides, it takes two to tango. Why can’t the guy have just as much responsibility in the matter as the girl?

    • Rider of Rohan says:

Yes and no, Aunt B. Other than by rape, females are the gatekeepers of sex in our society. Whether they wish it or not, they are the ones who set the standards. Unfair, yes. But I doubt women would want to go back to an age or time when they had little or no control over their bodies. What you must remember is that as many as 50% of all males are in single-parent households, the vast majority of which are female. So regardless of what men do to teach their sons respect for women, they can only reach about half of them, and it falls on women to teach the rest. From my own experiences, the boys who come from single-parent households are the worst offenders in these cases. I’m not sure why. I could go further, but there are tons of books written on this subject, and I’m not qualified for anything over an opinion.

      • Rider of Rohan, I know what you mean. For a number of years I was a devorced mom. My poor son heard very offen that he was responsable for any birth control when the time came that he became sexually active. Even if the girl said she was on the pill or whatever, it was still up to him to protect himself from a responsability if they were not wanting to start a family. Probably why I’m STILL not a grandma!!! Maybe I taught him too well, huh?

        • Aunt B – we have tried to teach our daughters to use the pill AND make the guy use protection IF they choose to have sex prior to marriage and prior to wanting children. First line of defense being self-defense from pregnancy and the second line to protect themselves from an STD. I grew up at a time when AIDS was the big, bad scary thing that few talked about and I wanted to make sure they didn’t contract it.

Some blogs are reporting that a military source has revealed that Obama is kicking officers out of the military based on one premise. If these officers won’t order the shooting of American citizens, then they are being drummed out. Can’t say I’m surprised.

  10. Warmongerel says:

When men reduce their virtues to the approximate, then evil acquires the force of an absolute, when loyalty to an unyielding purpose is dropped by the virtuous, it’s picked up by scoundrels—and you get the indecent spectacle of a cringing, bargaining, traitorous good and a self-righteously uncompromising evil.

Here are some interesting kitchen tips on storing flour; I hope you find them helpful.

You go to use your pre-ground flour and discover it has a slight “off” smell, or you tried it and it made your baked product taste “funny”. What do this mean? It usually means the flour has gone rancid, which grain does fairly quickly once it’s ground. Can you save it? Well, according to this tip, peel a raw potato and cut it in half; place the potato halves in the flour and keep it in the refrigerator or a cool pantry or basement overnight. Next morning, compost the potato halves and use the flour. I have not tried this, so, I’ll be anxious to know whether it works, but, picked it up from an LDS prep site, so, it probably does!

Tuck a dried bay leaf into flour before storing away and it will keep “critters” out (this is a time-tested method of keeping pre-ground flour bug-free).

Did you know that canned flour (#10 cans for long-term storage) may or may not last as long as you are told? If kept in a cool, dark place below 75 deg. F, it can last up to 10 years, as I understand it – we’re talking about pre-ground flour here – unground grain, properly stored, can last up to 30 years. For every 10 degrees above 75 deg. F, however, the pre-ground, canned flour loses strength and begins to deteriorate much more rapidly. You can easily cut shelf-life in half by storing your flour over 75 deg. F; even a short period of time over this temp will reduce shelf life.

Pre-ground flour in paper bags such as you buy off shelf should IMMEDIATELY be placed in mylar bags with OA’s (Oxygen Absorbers) and properly marked, then rotated in use according to expiration date, of course. They STILL need to be stored in a cool, dark place for longest life, even packed in mylars with OAs. Pre-ground flour can also be stored in freezers, which add about six (6) months to storage life.

    • OregonMike says:

Thanks for the pre ground flour info. One wonders how people made it the past 100 years. Of course if you look at the change in avg lifespan, I guess they didn’t. I was going to start using mylar for larger quantities so will now use it for the smaller quantities as well.

  12. MountainSurvivor says:

David Attenborough, what sweet words coming out of his hate-filled nazi mouth. Every one of them talks about population control though all of the people of the whole world could fit inside the state of Texas. He missed part of the equation, as all nazi alarmists do, himself. Like Gore, he probably wouldn’t be welcome in certain parts of England either because of his global warming talk and “human”-hating attitude. He needs a bar of soap scraped along his bottom teeth and made to sit in a corner until he learns to straighten up and be thankful that his mother had not decided to get rid of him before he was born. His “It’s alright that I was allowed to live but not anyone else” mentality IS the plague of the earth (ugly self-centered miser!).

    • He kind of goes along with that whole “Agenda 21” thinking? Saying that all of earth’s creatures of greater import than us humans? That is what I remember about him mostly.

  13. I hate to say this but we NEED a complete economic collapse to bring about meaningful spending and entitlement reform. Make no mistake, it will be painful for almost everyone except for an elite few but it MUST (and inevitably will) happen. What rises from the ashes of the collapsed economy may or may not be to our liking so we must remain engaged and ready to defend our rights as free people.

An economic collapse is inevitable. It is a mathematical certainty.

Hollywood Kills Tea Partiers, Christians in Movie ‘God Bless America’

A new movie called “God Bless America” takes aim – literally – at Christians, conservatives and Tea Party activists.

    According to the film’s description:
“Frank (Joel Murray) has had enough of the downward spiral of American culture, which he sees as overrun with cruelty, stupidity and intolerance. Divorced, recently fired, and possibly terminally ill, Frank truly has nothing left to live for. But instead of taking his own life, he buys a gun and decides to take out his frustration on the cruelest, stupidest, most intolerant people he can imagine—starting with some particularly odious reality television stars. Frank finds an unusual accomplice in a high-school student named Roxy (Tara Lynne Barr), who shares his sense of rage and disenfranchisement, and together they embark on a nation-wide assault on our country’s dumbest, most irritating celebrities.

Written and directed by taboo-busting filmmaker and comedian Bobcat Goldthwait (Shakes the Clown, Sleeping Dogs Lie, World’s Greatest Dad), GOD BLESS AMERICA a truly dark and very funny comedy for anyone who’s had enough of the dumbing down of our society.”

“Taking out the trash, one jerk at a time,” reads the tag line at magnetreleasing.com. Got that? According to Hollywood, Christians and conservatives are “trash” that must be “taken out.”

A dark comedy, indeed – because it seems that murdering conservatives apparently is what’s considered funny in Hollywood these days.
