Boy the news keeps getting sicker and sicker.
    I found this interesting
I find it amusing that all of these stories reference that it takes longer than a 1 hour CSI show to solve a crime. They continue at every avenue to make the ordinary man an idiot.
It takes the LEO”s forever to get to a crime scene. Then the news outlets can’t report the crime with truth and honesty.
That school shooting, have they given an accurate account of what that moron did? NO!

    • riverrider says:

they are all over a sheriff that told his people to arm themselves because 911 was taking too long due to budget cuts. 51 minutes for sexual assault, 31 for armed robbery on average. 1911 response time? 875 feet per second.

  2. Things just keep getting better and better.

  3. riverrider says:

well the cat is officially out of the bag, hillary is running for 2016. my worst nightmare is reality.

  4. Hunker-Down says:

    “Where Google Keeps…”

Picture # 15 shows the destruction of a hard drive. Comforting to know that your data is destroyed, isn’t it? Its such a warm fuzzy feeling to know that picture is there. But wait, they said all data is stored on 2 different drives (a standard backup procedure at all large disk farms), so, maybe my data isn’t deleted? They never said anything about deleting data. I guess my first impression of that picture was wrong.

I guess they couldn’t figure out a way to take a picture of my data being sent where the government is storing all Internet traffic.

Financial institutions, like Fidelity are required by law to store data (real-time) in 2 different sites in case one is disabled, so Wall Street will not be affected.

That makes me wonder just how many different places this post will be stored.

  5. What NH is doing just makes me sick!

    • one word for that …………Yankees

      • riverrider says:

tr, nope. yankee women. all their reps are women. i think all the men moved out:)

        • Alittle2late says:

          we are trying too!!

        • Yeah , I dont know what the deal is about the North East , all of them seem to be government head nodders ……… ” if the government says so ………we must unquestioningly obey , its un-American not to ”
Kind of ironic that they are so docile when it comes to obeying the government …….in the very birthplace of the Revolution .

    • FarmerKin says:

So much for their motto “Live Free or Die”, seems they forgot about the first half of it.

  6. I recently was making disparaging comments about the illustrious Dear Leader on the Washington Post and made a number of comparisons between Obama’s agenda and communism. One person wrote back, “Fine with me.” I wanted to puke. This is what I posted:

State which political party and which leader supports the following ideas.

    1. We seek to build unity between the environmental movement and other important movements: labor, civil rights, women’s, youth, peace, and immigrant rights movements.

    2. We are concerned about the interests of the American working class and the American people.

    3. We believe that the American people can replace capitalism with a system that puts people before profit.

    4. We believe that we should put the unemployed to work at union wages on massive public works programs to rebuild our cities, provide affordable housing for the homeless, build mass transit, and clean up the environment.

    5. We believe in progressive groups such as trade unions and civil rights groups.

    6. We believe that today’s rabid radio talk show hosts, right wing politicians and corporate interests have never stopped trying to intimidate workers.

    7. Along with other progressive rank and filers, we helped build caucuses to fight for more democracy, diversity and affirmative action.

    8. We are proud of our record against undemocratic laws that upheld racism, sexism, or other forms of discrimination.

    9. We fight for full equality for people of all races, for women and men, straight people and LGBT, for speakers of all languages, for young people and older people, and for people of all religious beliefs or none.

    10. We believe that the fight for equality is the key to uniting the working class into a powerful force for the changes we need.

If you answered the Communist Party, USA for every question, you got 100% on the quiz. Every single statement was taken from their manifesto. Doesn’t it make you wonder about liberals?

“Until we win enough support to change the system, communists call for radical reforms under capitalism.” – Communist Party, USA

  7. Sw't Tater says:

Run? from a home invader, a thug carrying a weapon, just how fast do they think humans run anyway? ignorance gone to seed.

    • Just more proof criminals have more rights than the law abiding citizens. If more criminals got shot in their criminal activities… then maybe they would think the cost was too high for their criminal activities.

    • They used to run those where I lived in Texas but they were always announced as they didn’t want folks shooting back or panicking…lol. Running them unannounced smacks of getting people used to the sounds and activities before it’s done for real and gets ignored until the door crashes open and in comes the flashbang.

      • riverrider says:

yeah, but previously we were by ourselves. now they have local/state/fed police with them. no denying its directed at u.s. citizens now. well, i know where all the birds are nested in va., and i know who runs the ammo dumps.

  8. HomeINsteader says:

The piece on North Koreans eating their children does not at all surprise me, which isn’t to say it doesn’t still sicken me. If you’ve followed Voice of the Martyrs for years, you know these things:

    1. North Korea has been starving its own people for decades, taking all the money needed for food production for the war machine;
    2. North Korea has been threatening to invade South Korea for years in order to take their food; it’s probably coming soon and very soon; in fact, there have been repeated and frequent skirmishes “across lines” for years in a dangerous game of cat-and-mouse with food as the prize;
    3. North Korean citizens have been stripping bark off trees for food for years; guess the trees finally died (you can only strip so much bark off any tree before it will die);
    4. All those cheap little white lights everybody buys then throws away each and every Christmas? Put together by “slaves” of NK, mostly Christians who have been imprisoned for violating the state law of separation of church and state. These slaves are set in open fields, given a box of supplies and told they can not leave the field until they have completed the tasks. It’s usually so much it’s very difficult to complete in the time allotted. These slaves have reported being given one (1) eight-ounce (8 oz.) glass of water per day and being told they can drink it, or they can bathe with it; but it’s the only water they get that day, while sitting in a field, putting together cheap white Christmas lights.

I didn’t make any of this up. Sign up with “Voice of the Martyrs” and follow their feeds.

And I could go on, but I think you get the message.

    • Chad in Kentucky says:

I know many of the North Koreans have it rough because their govt cares little about them but #3 and 4 sounds like the “voice of the martyrs” is pushing it a little.
I always assumed most of our xmas lights were made in Taiwan, China, Japan, Malayasia, etc. Didn’t think we were importing much from NK?

      • HomeINsteader says:

WE are not. You have to keep in mind the alliance between North Korea and China these days.

  9. Saw this on Community Chickens, don’t know if it’s actually life changing or not but it seems like a good idea that could work for automaticlly watering rabbits as well as chickens. Probably need some insulation for the winter though.

  10. 7 lean coming says:

This will be my first comment, but I have followed the blogs and comments for a while.
I am so shocked to see how in an age of so much information, this great nation is choosing to turn their eyes an ears away from the truth and are lulled into a false sense of security. The more information is out there the less we seem to want to acknowledge.

Clearly some have forgotten the story about the seven bountyful years followed by the lean….

My husband laugh at me when I buy preps, and while part of me hope he is right and that we will never need to use the last item in my revolving pantry, there is a bigger part that feel an growing urgency to stock up while we still live in the ‘fat years’…..

    • Patriot Dave says:

people have itching ears and want their ears tickled. they turn away from the truth to myths. They will be lovers of self, money. Their hearts will grow cold. always learning and never able to arrive at a knowledge of the truth. You can always count on God’s prophecies coming true.

    • riverrider says:

roger that. i have recently embarked on a plan with the lean 7 in mind.

    • HomeINsteader says:

      7 lean coming,

my DH laughed at me at first, too. Now he helps teach Prep 101 classes with me, builds all the “projects” that require carpentry skill, and handles all the OpSec, including weaponry. I love guns, but I can’t do it all!

      • Homie………..being our bible person, does it not say that in the end of days, that the people will refuse to see? Help me out here…

    • Alittle2late says:

It’s easier and less painful to ignore the truth and act like nothing is happening/ that can’t happen here or to me attitude.

    • So true! I have been feeling maybe we have been given 70 years of bounty this time around….hmmm didn’t the great depression end…oh yea about 70 yrs ago, yikes I don’t want to imagine 70 years of famine

    • Hi 7L,
DW used to laugh at me too. Today she was out helping me plan the garden and set up the rain barrels. She has noticed that 2 years ago we could fill our cart at the grocery store for $90. Today we’re lucky to get half way and that’s if we don’t buy any meat. She can see it coming too. Welcome to the ‘Pack

We are a member of the U.N. If you haven’t seen it yet, check out the U.N.s anti-gun statue which sits in NY. Remember, our Nation is a member of the United Nations and so, our Government is in full support of disarming the entire world and implementing “that” New World Order the elite’s have been talking about. You can see it at http://www.bing.com/images/search?q=Photos+of+the+U.N.s+anti-gun+statue&id=FAF2300B44BA76583CEA78FB5A06FB27B103BB09&FORM=IQFRBA

  12. Surveillance from 20,000 feet.

It’s been three years since we first heard about DARPA’s ARGUS-IS, but thanks to a PBS Nova special entitled “Rise of the Drones,” we finally have more information about the 1.8-gigapixel camera that is supposedly the highest-resolution surveillance system in the world.

Designed to be used with UAVs like the Predator, the ARGUS-IS (which stands for Autonomous Real-time Ground Ubiquitous Surveillance – Imaging System) can spot a six-inch object within a ten square mile radius from 20,000 feet in the air.

Not sure where to put this comment so. here it is THANK YOU for the back to top button!!

  14. WASHINGTON — Skeptical that President Barack Obama knows how to wield a gun, Rep. Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.) challenged him to a skeet-shooting contest and predicted she would win.

Obama revealed in a recent interview with The New Republic that he has fired a gun at Camp David, where he said he goes skeet shooting “all the time.” The comment has caused some to wonder aloud why he has never mentioned that before or why there aren’t any photographs of him engaging in the sport, even if just as a point of reference amid the ongoing debate over gun violence.

  18. HomeINsteader says:

There is so much to appreciate about Mississippi!

House passes concealed-carry privacy bill 101-18.

The Mississippi House has voted to block public access to information about state-issued permits for people to carry concealed weapons.
House Bill 485 passed 101-18 Tuesday. It moves to the Senate for more debate.

The bill’s sponsor is Republican Mark Baker of Brandon, who chairs the Judiciary A Committee. He says he filed it at the request of constituents who were upset that a newspaper in New York published the names and addresses of people who have concealed weapons permits there.

  19. I heard a good one today.

Couple comes in from out of state and asks “AT what altitude do deer turn into elk?” I would have loved to been there.
