We can't change the channel

Constant warnings of the pending economic doom by economic experts and the media, have failed to wake most people to the fact that; the collapse is here, it is happening now and no matter what government does to try and stop it, will have little or no effect upon the outcome. But most people; in spite of all the evidence, to the contrary continue hold onto the hope that someone; somewhere will do something to stop the bleeding, to get life back to the level they feel is their God given right of consumption and spending even if they have no money or assets to cover such expenses. They will continue on with life as usual or at least to the point where the bankers foreclose on their homes, the wrecker comes to repossess that new car or pickup truck and their 401k is reduced from a nest egg to only lost hopes of retirement.

I saw this coming sometime ago and had the foresight to get my survival preps in order and to live a simple debt free lifestyle. Seeing my paid for 26’ Travel Trailer resting on my own spot of junk land gives me feelings of comfort and pride, my food storage and other survival supplies bring a smile to my face when a hunger pains are felt in my stomach and the AK leaning against the wall gives a sense of security against the black of night. I hope at least some of my readers took some of what I have said on Survivalist Blog and put it to use making their own survival plans. The nightmare is unfolding before our eyes and unfortunately there is no way we can change the channel.
