  1. I like the added verbiage on the heading MD. I am so mad this morning that I can hardly stand myself! I will be working when tdl starts exploiting children on national tv today so will have a good excuse not to watch it. I don’t know how organized the opposition is, but this guy is certainly giving multiple reasons why the opposition should organize.

  2. NEW YORK JUST PASSED A BILL THAT CALLS FOR REGISTERING YOUR AR-BACKGROUND CHECK TO BUY AMMO-NO INTERNET AMMO SALES-NO 10 RD OR MORE MAGS-YOU HAVE ONE YEAR TO REGISTER YOUR AR. THIS BILL WAS FAST TRACKED THRU WITHOUT MUCH COMMENT. LOOKS LIKE SOMEONE IS SOMEONE ELSES LAP DOG HERE, BARKING TO THEIR TUNE. GET OUT OF NEW YORK

    • Get out of New York or start ponying up money for who ever is going to take this fight to the Supreme Court. California had a bill passed on buying ammo on the ‘net……….but the California Supreme court over turned it. They have tried again, twice and I am sure will keep trying.
Nobody, but nobody in government is willing to take on Microsoft’s xbox and the bloody games they feed up every Christmas to Children. Nobody is taking on Hollywood over all the crazy gun movies and televison shows. And nobody is talking about providing lock ups for the mentally ill! No “source related” answers, just bs knee jerk reactions………’tis nutz! You know the video industry has gone for the money, not for what it could have been used for…educational games; teaching children something instead of turning them into zombies! Done ranting for the moment now, have to go to work!

  3. It sounds like there are some out there that expected the left-leaning government types to be or pass “reasonable” gun control measures that would “decrease crime”. Many forget that these bills stated purpose it to “keep guns out of the hands of undesirables”. Just exactly who do you think they were talking about?

  4. HomeINsteader says:

You’re a police dispatcher; you get a call; some teenager says, “I saw a ‘suspicious’ teenager in my school today; he was suspicious because he was wearing a black hoodie – AND carrying a lime green gun!”. What would you do? (I do realize there are certain protocols that MUST be followed…but I’m not sure I could get all worried about a ‘lime green gun’!)

Join the NRA. Let them take these things to court. Let them be the media’s whipping boy. I am a lifetime member and sent them money last week. They cannot do these things without our support. Write your congress people. Let them know what you, their boss, think. Do it now, before Obama and his ilk strip the 1st amendment of any meaning.

  6. “The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. . . . It is a sign that the U.S. government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our government’s reckless fiscal policies. … Leadership means that ‘the buck stops here.’ Instead, Washington is shifting the burden of bad choices today onto the backs of our children and grandchildren. America has a debt and a failure of leadership. Americans deserve better. I therefore intend to oppose the effort to increase America’s debt limit.”–Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill March 2006

Just watched the bloviating leader and couldn’t tell what the heck he was indeed doing.
He made a hit on the NRA and other such organizations.
He is mistaken this universal background check (for all guns) will not keep guns out of the hands of criminals. He is so mistaken about this.
They may have a few people that have done this for them but criminals usually steal their guns.
And it was 23 actions he signed in. But what the hockeypuck are they????

    • Mystery Guest says:

Forgot maybe now there won’t be any more “Fast and Furious” crap from the ATF even if they do have a permanent director. They can be arrested just like the common man, ha! ha! ha!

    • SurvivorDan says:

I’m former LEO and would not do a criminal act. But….you can go to any major city (and not so major) and buy a gun. Easy. if you don’t get rolled, of course. Steal ‘em – buy ‘em….easy enough for the criminally bent.
We all know this knee-jerk crap attacking the average law abiding gun owner is just a show for the masses and part of the Leftist agenda to disarm folks.
Don’t be fooled by ‘reasonable’ gun restrictions.
THEIR agenda is one class of weapons at a time….until THEY get them all.

      • SurvivorDan,

Buy a gun – why would anyone do that when you can make one with some pipe and fitting…? Slam bang…

      • +100

      • HomeINsteader says:

You are 200% correct, SD. And after tdl grabs all the guns, he’ll go for the food supply. Control the people – rule the world. It’s no secret to anyone who knows the Word of Holy G-d.

        Blessings to you,

      Mystery Guest,

I felt the same way. I was stunned. Reminded me of that ole saying, “If you can’t dazzle them with your brilliance, baffle them with the BS.”

      • Tactical G-Ma:

I hadn’t heard that in a while! Wait, I used to practice that with my troops.

  8. so much for doctor/patient confidentiality.

(Though some of those are decidedly small-scale: One of the 23 “executive actions” trumpeted by the White House was that Obama will “clarify” that Obamacare “does not prohibit doctors asking their patients about guns in their homes”).

    http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/ticket/obama-unveils-sweeping-plan-battle-gun-violence-165956859–politics.html

Why would the doc need to know that unless they were compiling a list of who had weapons. Yep… here is the Executive Order that would go along with that…

** Address unnecessary legal barriers, particularly relating to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, that may prevent states from making information available to the background check system.

And since states may not go along with it…. lets bribe them

** Improve incentives for states to share information with the background check system.

Wanna bet that “patriots” will be on this list…

** Direct the Attorney General to review categories of individuals prohibited from having a gun to make sure dangerous people are not slipping through the cracks.

and the list keeps going on and on and on. Read the link above for the full list.

Yes, I live in the God Forsaken state of NY.
I had placed orders for 10 rd mag in Dec. due to be shipped this month…just received this email.
We are very sorry, but due to the Secure Ammunition and Firearms Enforcement Act signed into law yesterday by the Governor of New York, we are no longer able to ship orders to New York for these newly restricted products. Recently, you placed products on backorder that are now restricted by this new law. Unfortunately, we have to cancel your backorder for these products. We have always put Customers first and it pains us to have to cancel your backorder. We hope you understand our actions and are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

I’m sure I will have the same issue with ammo ordered before the election, of which I have not received yet.

sucks to be you. you know he had to beat obama to the punch to help his campaign next time around. you guys should be marching already. last time they tried that in va, we ended up with more rights:)

      • Shiloh pack says:

Oh, it’s starting. Protests are starting to get organized. Lawsuits are piling up. State law can not supersede Federal Law. We have to see what congress passes or hopefully doesn’t pass.
Just heard that “The Buffalo News” paper wants to publish the names of pistol permit owners in the county. This is insane!

        • HomeINsteader says:

Send them to a trusted friend in a state that has not yet gone libtard, and have have the trusted friend send them to you!

      Vote with your feet!

      • BP has a point… if you vote with your feet and move then you take 100% of your tax money away from the state.

        • Shiloh pack says:

I would imagine NY will be losing a lot of sales tax revenue from the sale of ammo. Who wants the gov. to know how much ammo they’ve purchased at one time or over time, not to mention the background checks. I’ve read you get flagged when purchasing over 1000 rds. That’s two boxes of .22 lr. The border states will see an increase in their revenue know doubt.

          • HomeINsteader says:

In MS, folks drive across the state lines to buy lottery tickets, as we do not have a lottery; casinos – yes, but, no lottery. I’m not promoting or endorsing either, just so we’re clear.

Guess what they’ll be driving across state lines for in Libtard Central, aka, New York State?

    Here they are MD:
A MUST FOR YOU TO REPOST FOR COMPLETE DISCUSSION:
What follows is the list of executive orders President Obama referenced minutes ago during a press conference addressing measures to reduce gun violence in the United States:

    Gun Violence Reduction Executive Actions

Today, the President is announcing that he and the Administration will:

    1. Issue a Presidential Memorandum to require federal agencies to make relevant data available to the federal background check system.

    2. Address unnecessary legal barriers, particularly relating to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, that may prevent states from making information available to the background check system.

    3. Improve incentives for states to share information with the background check system.

    4. Direct the Attorney General to review categories of individuals prohibited from having a gun to make sure dangerous people are not slipping through the cracks.

    5. Propose rulemaking to give law enforcement the ability to run a full background check on an individual before returning a seized gun.

    6. Publish a letter from ATF to federally licensed gun dealers providing guidance on how to run background checks for private sellers.

    7. Launch a national safe and responsible gun ownership campaign.

    8. Review safety standards for gun locks and gun safes (Consumer Product Safety Commission).

    9. Issue a Presidential Memorandum to require federal law enforcement to trace guns recovered in criminal investigations.

    10. Release a DOJ report analyzing information on lost and stolen guns and make it widely available to law enforcement.

    11. Nominate an ATF director.

    12. Provide law enforcement, first responders, and school officials with proper training for active shooter situations.

    13. Maximize enforcement efforts to prevent gun violence and prosecute gun crime.

    14. Issue a Presidential Memorandum directing the Centers for Disease Control to research the causes and prevention of gun violence.

    15. Direct the Attorney General to issue a report on the availability and most effective use of new gun safety technologies and challenge the private sector to develop innovative technologies.

    16. Clarify that the Affordable Care Act does not prohibit doctors asking their patients about guns in their homes.

    17. Release a letter to health care providers clarifying that no federal law prohibits them from reporting threats of violence to law enforcement authorities. 18. Provide incentives for schools to hire school resource officers.

    19. Develop model emergency response plans for schools, houses of worship and institutions of higher education.

    20. Release a letter to state health officials clarifying the scope of mental health services that Medicaid plans must cover.

    21. Finalize regulations clarifying essential health benefits and parity requirements within ACA exchanges.

    22. Commit to finalizing mental health parity regulations.

    23. Launch a national dialogue led by Secretaries Sebelius and Duncan on mental health

    • No. 24

Start an oganization called “Obama Youth for America” in which we will “educate” all children of this country on how to be usefull and productive for the good of the country. This will start with education in all areas of Socialism and how it is good for the country and how your parents and other family members who oppose all govenment actions meant to “help”all the others that need our help should be reported to our cadre leader, etc, etc ,etc, etc,

  11. And now it starts

BOSTON, Jan 16 (Reuters) – Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick introduced a new series of gun laws on Wednesday that would tighten rules on sales of weapons and ammunition, in the wake of last month’s deadly school shooting in neighboring Connecticut.

The move comes the day after New York state adopted one of the nation’s toughest gun-control laws and as U.S. President Barack Obama prepares new proposals expected to include a new national assault-weapons ban and strengthened background checks on prospective gun buyers.

Just paid for a 3 yr membership to the NRA. :)

  13. Just love how the media libtrards are attacking the NRA ad on armed security for Obumers kids but not for your kids. Just amazes how they are saying this goes to FAR, and is to PERSONAL! Well the TRUTH hurts and they don’t want you to know the truth.

    • riverrider says:

yeah, said with a straight face surounded by “victims”….their “hypocrisy knows NO bounds.” doc holliday.

    • Of course they don’t want you to know the truth. That’s why they snuck the propaganda act into the 2013 NDAA

    • Dean in Michigan says:

      Yeah funny ain’t it?

TDL obviously doesn’t think that parading other peoples kids out in front of the media was to far. There were four kids there, and only three were quoted from the letters they wrote. That left the one little boy sitting there probably wondering why his letter was not quoted. Why he was even there.

Well let me tell ya kid, you were brought in by your beloved dictator, to fill a racial gap and be USED as one of the poster children.

Makes me wonder if he even wrote a letter at all.

      What an Obammination…

  15. riverrider says:

aside from texas and wyoming, sheriffs in oregon and kentucky have told the feds to take a hike on guns. i hope va is next. kentucky is moving up on my list. where you at tennessee?

  16. Thomas T. Tinker says:

Please take note that none of the 23 items listed comes with a codified instrument that provideds ANY detailed information as to what will be done… in fact. The Sheep have a very very short attention span.. not unlike a flea. The details will show up as amendments scattered through out the Federal register. As we have a cute one in the NDAA that allows the government to actually mislead.. misdirect.. lie to the public, one may say that the Republic is Dead until this is siffted through the Supremed Court.

Beware of the man who declares he is going to punch you in the face. One day he will stab you in the back and you will never see it coming.

“THE INDIVIDUAL HAS ALWAYS HAD TO STRUGGLE TO KEEP FROM BEING OVERWHELMED BY THE TRIBE. TO BE YOUR OWN MAN (WOMAN) IS A HARD BUSINESS. IF YOU TRY IT, YOU’LL BE LONELY OFTEN, AND SOMETIMES FRIGHTENED. BUT NO… PRICE IS TOO HIGH TO PAY FOR THE PRIVILEGE OF OWNING…….. YOURSELF.

Prezy seems to be a racist. He cares more about the mostly white kids in CT but never initiated any EOs based on the “gun violence” all of last year in Chicago! sarc/off

  19. private idaho says:

this country is starting to really list to the left, hope it dont capsize under all the dead weight. to use an old navy term. gonna talk to my local sheriff and see if he’ll enforce the new anti 2nd ammendment laws coming down the pipe

  20. I got a case of Stupiditis since most of these Executive Orders make no sense to me. The DL runs for president twice and never once was he focused on the gun violence of his beloved Chicago. Even in his 2012 campaign, if he was so concerned about this issue, why did he not promise to “use his office” to deal with it? How about signing Executive Order #24 “As president, I will return to Chicago and stay there until I have erradicated gun violence in that town. At that point the CDC can study what I did to solve this problem and we won’t need to budget millions of dollars for more pork barrell spending – aka ‘scientific studies’.”

  21. You’d think that with as many times as chinamart has shot itself in the foot lately.. they’d just put down the damn gun…. but NO… they have to keep playing with it.

Walmart Hiring Plan Excludes Nearly 1 Million Unemployed Veterans

Walmart’s plan to hire more than 100,000 veterans comes with a major catch: Only those who have been honorably discharged on or after the plan’s announcement on Jan. 15 will be eligible. (The official launch date is Memorial Day.)

Which means that veterans who left service yesterday, or last week, will not be eligible. Nor will Walmart’s plan include veterans who left military service last year and have been unemployed, ever since.

Why? Walmart’s spokesperson Brooke Buchanan told AOL Jobs: “We shouldn’t be given a hard time about this,” but declined to elaborate on why this condition was put in place.
