I’m telling the president : “In an initiative aimed at rooting out future leakers and other security violators, President Barack Obama has ordered federal employees to report suspicious actions of their colleagues based on behavioral profiling techniques. Those who fail to report them could face penalties, including criminal charges.”

Your tax dollars at work paying the feds to spy on you : “Paid for by U.S. tax dollars, but with little public scrutiny, surveillance fees charged in secret by technology and phone companies can vary wildly.”

And here he goes again – Privacy fears grow as Obama weighs expanded gun-buyer database : “President Barack Obama said he wants to see state governments contribute more names of people barred from buying guns to the database.”

This ones for regular blog commenter “GoneWithTheWind” : Patient Wakes Up as Doctors Get Ready to Remove Organs – “It was exactly midnight when Caroline Burns eerily opened her eyes and looked at the operating lights above her, shocking doctors who believed she was dead and were about to remove her organs and donate them to patients on the transplant waiting list.”

Broward County Sheriff’s Office Prepares Zimmerman Verdict Riot Plan : “On Monday, the Broward County Sheriff’s Office released a video calling on the public not to riot in the wake of the George Zimmerman verdict, expected this week or next in Florida.” M.D. Adds: Folks if you live in “certain areas” of the country, be prepared for all heck to break loose, if Zimmerman is found not guilty. Depending on your circumstances, it might be a good time to test your bug out plan, before the violence starts.

  1. Concerning the Zimmerman trial. Many of us have seen The Left and It’s fellow Travelers riot for decades. Watts, Liberty City, campus riots of the 1960’s-70’s. The Democratic Convention in Chicago 1968, on and on.
Obama and his Marxist conspirators have been destroying The Republic for 5 years now! Black on White unprovoked attacks continue to escalate! Yesterday’s great post on Obamacare proves that things are just going to get even worse!….Where is our outrage?

We know that the path that we are on will hurt a great many people and as Christians we are called to “love our fellow man”. (Which includes protecting them from harm.)

Pray that God’s protection and peace covers all Americans.

    • Martino Lazzareschi, Sr. says:

“Many of us have seen The Left and It’s fellow Travelers riot for decades” Uh,no! Those folks were the ‘Left-Out’ not the Left as you state.

“Obama and his Marxist conspirators have been destroying…” Obama is the opposite of ‘Marxist’ he is Fascist! Check your dictionary.

      • Martino,
Left out, as in left out of the group that follows our laws, or left out of the group which would rather work for a living instead of collecting a government check?

Oh, and yes I do know my Left from my Right. May I suggest that you try reading the book Liberal Fascism by Jonah Goldberg, it was a best seller a few years back. I know that it has a bunch of really big words in it, but I’m certain you’ll be able to get through it in 5-6 years. God Bless.

        • Martino Lazzareschi, Sr. says:

Too bad you had to turn nasty and insulting just because I disagree with you.

Is that acceptable christian behavior? If so, yuk!

It’s not in the REAL world.

Obvious it’s a waste of time discussing this further with you Ghost.

          • Nothing to come back with huh? Jesus used a whip on the sellers in The Temple, was that “Christian?”.

Like I said, try reading some before you make a stupid statement like “Obama is not a Marxist” O.K.?

M.D. featured a real good video a few months back called “Agenda, Grinding America Down”. Amazon sells them, it may help you understand Communism better.

            Again, God Bless.

          • Martino Lazzareschi, Sr. says:

Hey Ghost, (Hiding your real name I see)

Your boring religion issues tinged with hate is too off the wall for me. Please move on.

            Not interested.

            nite, nite

            • JeffintheWest says:

Oh come on. Even M.D. prefers us NOT to use our full names on this blog. If you choose to do so, that’s your call, but it’s hardly a slur on his manhood that he prefers a pseudonym. Sheesh.

              • LOL perhaps its his first time on survivalist sites . Or he is one of those preppers that tells everybody they are prepping ,what , where , and how much .

    • Tit for tat , Whites need to get a backbone and stand up for themselves ……..a little Confederate resurgence may be in order .

  4. #1 – What the hell. Is the U.S. Government using George Orwell’s 1984 as a bloody manual?

  5. JP in MT says:

What little I’ve seen on the Zimmerman trial, the prosecution is not doing a real good job. I think it was CBS that reported on day 3 that it didn’t look like they could get a conviction.

This has seemed to be a political run up, almost like they wanted a case like this, loose it, so they could have an issue to deal with civil unrest.

I agree, if you live in that area, when they get ready to anounce the verdict, it might be a good time to take a couple days off from work. Bunker up, sit back, and watch the show.

    • Bottom line is this ……..race is no issue , the issue is that two people end up fighting , with one obviously trying to kill the other ( if you bang a persons head against the cement , you ARE trying to kill him , otherwise you would hit him in the face ) , Two people going for the same gun ………there can only be one outcome …..somebody is going to get shot . What do they think the little piece of shit would have done if HE had gotten to it first ? He woud of used it ! The whole media and racial uproar should never have taken place , Crime happens every day , worse than this , and gets much less attention if any at all . Thats why I firmly believe that unless its an elected official , NO TRIAL should be televised .

  6. MorePooperThanPrepper says:

I worked in south central LA when I heard that the OJ Simpson verdict was going to be read. I was not feeling well that morning and had to leave – in a hurry. Turns out he was innocent – who’d have guessed? The citizens of Los Angeles were not upset that he was acquitted, and it was sort of a false alarm on my part. I wouldn’t bet that those people will quite as happy if Zimmerman gets to walk, so do plan accordingly.

Luckily I now live in a place where none of this is much of a concern. If things go bad people around here will just shake their heads and try their best to understand whats going on in the rest of this country.

    • I worked the swing shift at a private security company in L.A. when the King Verdict came down. I left 10 minutes after the verdict, armed, and it still took me 4 hours to make a 40 minute drive. I practically lived at the office for three days, only going home at 3 of 4 am to care for the dog and shower. The freeways at that time were empty and the riots didn’t spill onto them..

I was also caught up in some riots in South Korea in the 80’s so while I am not an expert on them, I’m definately a serious amateur.

If anyone does get caught up in them you have to be very aware of mob mentality of both sides; the rioters and the police. Use your best judgement on who is doing the least amount of damage and try to blend with them. It may be worth your life to chance getting arrested to save your skin. The best advise is avoid them at all costs.

      • JeffintheWest says:

Amen on that. The worst place to be in the whole world is in the middle of a riot. At least on the battlefield you more or less KNOW who the good guys and bad guys are. In a riot, all bets can be off.

        • Be like those Korean business owners that got on the roof with their guns and fired a few shots at the mob ……the mob made a point to leave their places alone ………imagine that …….

      • Doris Jones says:

        Sirius,
Mob mentality is amazing. For anyone who has not been in it–they would NOT believe what humans are capable of. I have seen it up close and personal and it can become ultra violent within seconds!

Once in Virginia (Norfolk) I was a young woman with a child and had taken a couple more children to see Santa at a Christmas Parade. For some strange reason, I never knew why, a group of young black people (a condensed mob) had taken over the parking lot. Now I am a white woman who believes in racial equality and freedom for all but THEY did not know it. They mobbed my car, shook it, yelled every epithit in the book and nasty stuff at us, scared the very young children in the car and I was totally lucky (perhaps the Lord protected me) to get out of the parking lot with our car intact. Some had broken windshields and worse. I just kept moving slowly and tried to ignore the hits to the car and windshield. After that day, I never again felt the same around a large group of people. (Needless to say, even way back then, it was NOT mentioned in the newspaper.) If there is anything controversial going on, (and even sometimes when it is not) it is far better to NOT be “in crowds” if there are not enough of the group to really protect itself. Avoiding problems is often better than dealing with a mob which is senseless for sure. And that goes for PRO as well as NON! Both sides can act crazy in a mob!

  7. Brad in South FL says:

I live in this area and work in LE! Will keep you guts posted. Have been warned and advised to keep calm and have certain “items” in our cars. I will leave it at that! Stay safe all!

    • Brad,

I am a couple hours north of you and I am concerned. It seems the black politicians and the Black Panthers are looking to incite a riot. My dh and I plan to stay in the day the verdict is announced. I wonder if the angry black mobs kill a white kid if they will be charged with a hate crime–I doubt it.

      • My DW’s kin is scattered across Fla. My in-laws are preparing for the worst, should things get crazy. We all went through the Liberty City riots in Miami (1979?), and remember smelling the smoke all the way up north in Pompano Bch.

  8. Telling the president. So, what has changed? I was USAF (65-88) . Way back then all DOD personnel were briefed yearly on AFR 124-16 Protection of the President) and AFR 205-57 Protection of classified, espionage etc. We also lived with the Human Reliability :Program and the Personnel Reliability Program and two man control.. What I read is nothing new, unless the new, improved politically correct US Military quit doing all those things that were second nature in years past. I saw many removed from positions either temporarily or forever when co workers noticed odd behavior.

Zimmerman Trial A son and his family live about 25 miles from Sanford, Florida. H e is prepared for the worst while taking a wait and see attitude.

This spying by the NSA just grows and grows and unfortunately from my vantage point, the average person under age 30 just doesn’t have a clue.

    • JeffintheWest says:

The big difference now is that it’s not just the military and people within the military dealing with SCI or nuclear weapons — now it’s everyone. I think that most civilians nowadays would never know that this sort of thing has been going on since the end of World War II in the military, and indeed, it never WAS going on outside of the specific areas you mentioned…until now.

      • It seems like all Federal employees have been systematically replaced by contractors. Active duty military and civilian feds. That way the govt saves on retirement, health benefits, etc. How many active duty folks do you know whose job has been taken over by a contractor?

At L.A AFB I think the have about 10 Security Forces personnel. The rest are civilian contractors who are not subject to the UCMJ. The fear of being prosecuted by a court martial just doesn’t exist with contractors. Even ones with prior service.

        • Sirius,
You are undoubtedly correct about contractors taking over many duties. I retired when the Cold War was still on and I have to admit that I never dealt with a contractor. In the old days everything was done with a paper trail. The TS facilities I was in were closed to the public and to other base personnel and everything you brought in was looked at and same on the way out. Sort of like TSA at the airport. And we didn’t have computers and zip drives and all that high tech stuff. Thinking about it, I would like to take a tour of a modern facility (fat chance) and see how things are safeguarded. While in, I wandered unaware into places I wasn’t supposed to be more than once and ended up with a german shepherd growling in one ear and gruff AF security specialist with a M 16 next to the my other ear. Ah, those were the days.

    • Eagle,
I don’t know about the Android OS; however, there are a set of patches for Linux that creates Security Enhanced Linux. This code has been extensively run through the open source sieve, and has no back doors, just security enhancements beyond those already in Linux that are pretty good as is, to the point of being a real PIA.
Not everything NSA or the government does is a conspiracy, although vigilance is always prudent.

  10. #1, perhaps they should just make robots to do all the work. Could you imagine having a bad day, say you wake up late skip breakfast get into a fender bender on the way to work and because you are stressed when you get there, it could be seen as nervousness, and now you are under investigation. There are too many ways this can go wrong. But hey, no one ever accused these people of being smart.

#4, I am glad the woman woke up in time. That had to have been a freakish experience.

#5, I am glad that the local officials are making a plan and trying to reach out before anything happens. I really hope that things dont get get crazy, but all it takes is one stupid person in an angry crowd to incite violence.

Who do we tell if it’s TPTB that are doing suspicious things. Everything now days is suspicious coming out of the District of Criminals. Everything tends to geared towards getting around the United States Constitution or to further enslave the American people. You don’t even have to be a FBI profiler to see that one. Donna in MN,

If you have a gov id card with the little microchippy thingy (technical term) they are already tracking you.

      • seeuncourt,
The “microchippy thingy” is an RFID, and they can only track you when you use the card.

        • riverrider says:

not! they can track you if you pass by any reader. readers can be put anywhere. we used them in logistics in the army. not much bigger than a gps unit and fema showed us how they will set them up on the hwy to track incoming emergency supplies and the like. they adapted a combat logistics system to apply to fema emergencies. we could even look into walmart distro centers to see how much inventory they had if needed. btw, walmart is heavily hooked in to the .gov, food for thought.

          • RR,
The ones in the ID cards (I have one for my local county EMA) only work within a few feet of the reader, and if you wrap them in aluminum foil (a faraday cage) they don’t work at all. US passports now also contain these, and there are “special” wallets you can get to carry the passport and shield the RFID chip from being read.

  17. Hunker-Down says:

Smartphone? I have a dumb phone; a tracfone.

As dumb as it is, if I dial 911, I will be found via the GPS like software in the phone. We have it activated so that if we get in a wreck and are able to dial 911, we can be located.

There is a setup screen that allows one to turn off the tracking. I wonder if doing so just lets us think we turned it off, but the phone keeps transmitting our location.

I think a better strategy than we use now would be to assume that if, in a car wreck, we can dial 911, we can also put a battery in the phone. I know, I know, maybe not, but I’m giving some serious thought to keeping the battery out of the phone.

  18. Lee from La says:

It almost seems the government is attempting to incite a riot. Are they presuming Zimmerman’s innocence. Are they expecting a riot if he is found guilty?

    • riverrider says:

third try….fox is reporting docs that say the “justice” dept went to fla and helped stage marches on behalf of trayvon. fair and impartial?

    • Lee from La,
I suspect the answer to both of your questions is – yes.

  19. riverrider says:

as if the “judge” in the zim case wasn’t biased enough thru out the trial, now she is allowing the prosecution to introduce dozens of other charges at the last minute without allowing the defense discovery rights and time to defend against them. amomng the charges are child abuse. really? she was supposedly running for some office after this and wanted to be able to say she got “justice for trayvon” but she not only set up appeals out the wazzoo but might be disbarred as well. railroad the white man, anything to keep the natives happy. this kind of “justice” is why cops get killed. why take your chances in a kangaroo court when you know the outcome already? better to go out blazing.

    • RR,
I think the judge is trying to straddle a razor blade. If she introduces all of these extra things, and Zimmerman still gets off, she can say that she went beyond the call of duty to get justice, and hopefully placate the natives. If he’s convicted, then the appeals are all teed up for a long drive out of the park. She was placed into a politically volatile position where nothing she does will be right by someone’s criticisms, and I’m glad I’m not her. If you look at the prosecution witnesses, including the on scene officers, they we all great defense witnesses. I don’t think this would have ever gone to trial except for the Al Sharptons of the world, and the main stream media, who lied from the get go, and have been pushing this as a race issue. Starting with NBC editing the 911 recording to make this “white Hispanic” (whatever the h*ll that is) look like a racist.

      • riverrider says:

i liked the one gal that couldn’t read her alleged “statement” because it was in cursive writing. so she could write it but not read it? hmmmm. if that were me, i’d be arrested for perjury.

    • It is rumored that Obama and Holder had a closed door meeting with the judge ……..if true , he will not get a fair trial .
