I want you to complete at least one goal per week, this can be anything from learning a new skill to putting up another can of spam to building a super bunker.
The point is to do something, other than sitting on your butt drinking beer and watching football. This Disneyland for dummies is coming to an end and you will either prepare to survive or procrastinate and die. It’s that simple.
So what did I do to prepare this week? I bought a pack of butane lighters and a box of #6′s for the 12 gauge. Worked in the garden – pulling weeds, watering etc. Picked blackberries and dug up some cattails. Dug out the spring for better access to water and the normal stuff that I do everyday, like cooking and tending to the goats, chickens and rabbits.
Enough about me – I want to talk about you. What have you done this week to become more self-reliant?

This week I tought myself how to reload ammo. So far I have loaded lots of 45 acp. I’m switching over to 9mm. The Lee Loadmaster is a simple machine and it does a nice job. Easy to learn.
mdcreekmore, been getting your emails for a while now and enjoy reading it for the most part. I do want to start prepping, too and have started to buy extra food every time I go shopping. However, do you or anybody else have any suggestions on how to do a lot more than just gather some extra food, when one is only renting a room and working only part-time?
I lost everything… house… retirement… investments…job…everything. And I’m just now starting to get back on my feet again. I’m a senior and it has been difficult trying to find a job. Age discrimination is illegal, but you can’t prove it. LOL Not asking for pity here, just some advice.
