Reviewing is not my life, rather it is a byproduct of my intense desire for preparedness as an individual and a family man. This means that items like Woundseal are sought for their benefit and usability. Anyone who has a farm or works a garden and camps knows that minor cuts and scrapes can and do occur on a regular basis. This product is easy to use and functions well as a stopgap prior to better care when at home.
As with everything I must tell you the following, I am not a licensed medical professional. What I am telling you is NOT medical advice it is merely a re-telling of my personal experiences over the years with products I trust with my family and own life. Additionally, I did NOT receive this product for the free or reduced price and have personally purchased 3 of these linked packages. Link here, use this link for purchasing from Amazon, it goes through MD Creekmore affiliate page.
- Woundseal offers an easy solution to small and medium-sized cuts and abrasions in small tubes.
- It is a powdery substance that quickly clots the blood and works great for people who use blood thinners and or have clotting issues.
- I have used it personally numerous times and even with my animals.
As with all wounds I highly suggest washing them out with CLEAN water or using alcohol if no clean water is available, it will sting but it will save lives also! Cleanliness is really the single most important thing you can do to prevent infections and live healthy lives.
So now you have seen the pros, what are the cons?
- It is a small tube and will not work for large cuts, anything over an inch or so this WILL not work well and you will need to assess and address with experience.
There you go, a quick look at another useful product and one that I use regularly and keep in all my trauma and main bags!
Free the mind and the body will follow…
